Rad Italian place reminiscent of the Midwest. Service was great, large portions, and tons and tons of gluten free options (never seen this many before).
Excellent. Worth a try if you’re in Rochester.

Best burger I've had in a long time! I have celiac and finding places to eat is very difficult. They have a separate fryer for only French fries, which are honestly amazing.the burgers are juice and cooked great, and the gluten free buns are soft and really good. This is by far my favorite restaurant in the area, if not if all time.
With a vibrant menu offering diverse options and a casual yet upscale vibe, this spot is perfect for lunch or a special celebration.

4.4 total stars for this great American restaurant.
They had issues seating us out of the sun which was frustrating but they eventually were able to accommodate.
5 stars for our server Ephraim! He was so accommodating and knowledgeable about the dietary restrictions. They have many gluten sensitive and plant based/ vegan options and accommodated various requests for us. Lots of variety in the menu so anyone can eat here.
4 stars for the quality of the food it wasn’t outstanding but good.
We had the:
Blueberry mocktail- nice that they have many alcohol free options but this drink was just okay
Gluten free truffle Parmesan fries- very good garlic aioli hit the spot
Gluten free rainbow roll- okay
Plant based mushroom fettuccini with gluten free pasta and chicken- delicious!
Bison burger of gluten free bread- decent, amazing Gf bread
GF Cookies and cream cake - excellent
I do recommend for a group that needs variety and has dietary restrictions. It’s a nice atmosphere on the casual side.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with a great menu selection and freshly squeezed orange juice, perfect for a lively outing.

Love this place! Great menu selection and such a fun place. I had the Cobb Salad take away and it was delicious! You can ask for no bread so it’s gluten free 👌🏼

What a friendly place. Portion in my chicken pita wrap was quite big. Huge shout-out to the man taking orders and checking everything that came out of the kitchen - that it matched the order and was what the customers wanted. That is real service. He was also very knowledgeable about what was gluten free and the differences between intolerance and Celiac. Recommend this spot
Unique dishes and great service create a memorable dining experience, perfect for a special night out or a family gathering.

We had a fantastic dinner at Chester's. One of the best hamburgers I've had in a long time. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. My wife had the wedge salad and she said it was great. Fires were delicious! Even had gluten free key lime pie. Our waiter, Adam was awesome. He learned of my gluten allergy and even came back and said the tater tots I ordered weren't gluten free and offered options. Great job Chester's. Next time we are in Rochester we will be back!
Located downtown, this spot boasts a vibrant ambiance, diverse menu options, and a great selection of cocktails and mocktails.

I can’t stop talking about this place! The service was great and fast (our server provided really good suggestions!), the cocktails were so well-balanced, and the food was delicious! I almost went back the next day for the noodles and brussels. We also had the tofu satay, which was wonderfully crispy, and the pad thai, which they will make if you beg, but I’m with the server that the other food was so good and you can get that anywhere. Best news: so much was gluten-free! Would go back right now if I could.

TL;DR: Discovered Purple Goat on a gluten free FB page. Good food & knowledgeable staff.
We were in town over the weekend coming from the Twin Cities, and we stopped in on the way to our hotel, about an hour & a half before close. We hadn't eaten since that morning and were excited to try the menu. We ordered drinks, the pork nachos as an app, and a pair of burgers.
Our server April very patiently answered all my questions about the gluten free menu & was very helpful. I had quite a few questions because the menu has a little message about gluten free options posted on a corner of the menu, but none of the individual items are labeled "GF/GS"
The nachos were great, and I even ordered extra of the avocado verde salsa. Our burgers were good, juicy & flavorful. The fries they came with were also great.
Overall we had a good experience, and would love to come back when we're in town again. We would definitely order the pork nachos again and work our way through the menu. I think the only thing I would love to see is a gluten free dessert option.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with live music, outdoor seating for pets, and a unique cocktail list that makes for a memorable experience.

My wife and I stopped by for breakfast this morning on a whim. We were pleasantly surprised to have an outstanding experience. My wife suffers from a whole host of food allergies and as a result it is difficult to find a restaurant that can accommodate all of them. Chief among them being gluten (celiacs disease) and cross contamination from gluten. The staff did just that. From the top notch service provided by our waitress (thank you again, Amber B.) to the kitchen staff that prepared our food exactly the way it was ordered including all of our special requests. Our meals were made with top quality ingredients that came thru in both the taste and texture. It is also worth noting, that my wife did not suffer a reaction from any errors made in the preparation of our meals. The whole experience exceeded all of our our expectations. We will definitely be coming back again. To all those that read this, quality service deserves to be rewarded and lauded. Not just with gratuity but also thru reviews such as these.

A clean convenient location for lunch or dinner with a variety of food options and excellent service.
Gluten sensitive and healthier options are available, and we were told they use a dedicated gluten sensitive fryer.
We liked the gluten sensitive options so much we forgot to take a picture when we first got them :). Sorry!

We have gone to Broadway Pizza for years because of their gluten free cheese bread and pizza. I’ve also recommended others go there. Unfortunately, the food has changed. The gf cheese bread is now on a thin slice of gf bread and is horrible, gf pizza just ok. Service was wonderful and have always loved the atmosphere. I feel sad that it is no longer a place we will frequent.

Only give reviews if places are exceptionally good or bad, and this was the best acai bowl I’ve ever had…and I lived in Brazil! Loved the base flavors (not overly sweet, great consistency, wonderful flavors), the fruit toppings were so fresh, and all the granolas were gluten free. Please open a location in Kalispell Montana!

This place is amazing all around. From the awesome staff, to the colorful and fun atmosphere inside and on the patio. The food and drinks are great, they have options for gluten free and vegetarian. They also have an NA option for tap beer and some yummy juices if you're not in a drinking mood. If you're looking for beer, they have an awesome beer menu with multiple sizes and options, whatever your flavor, they probably have it. They also have some spirits and wine to choose from!! This place has it all!!
The cafe is open early for the coffee and breakfast goers!!! 😁
Fantastic service and food! I have to be completely gluten free, and they accommodated this and answered all of my questions. The sushi and the kimchi were wonderful! I've been craving the kimchi ever since. It's the best I've ever had! We don't go to Rochester often but when we do, we'll eat here again!
A cozy spot with a fun vibe, offering a delicious variety of flavors and great options for everyone!

Love this little place! Staff is ALWAYS courteous and helpful. Vegan donuts are good - love the variety of flavors! They will do gluten free also if you pre-order. Smoothies are good too! Their food looks amazing - will definitely be back to try some!
Very good food, and they have gluten free pizza crust which is very nice since both my dad and sister have Celiac's disease. They also had the wild on which is always a bonus
Expect a laid-back vibe but be ready for potential delays in service as you enjoy a memorable meal with the family.

They have a gluten-free menu, which is important for my son. The food was all good. One meal was from the kids menu for my 5 year old granddaughter. All the food was served but hers and mine. I would think the kids food would come first. She felt really bad that everyone got their food and she didn't get anything. I pointed out to her that I was still waiting, too, and told her they saved the best for last. That helped her feel better. We waited several minutes before we finally got ours. Too long of a lag. Otherwise, it was a good experience eating there.
Lettuce wrap options add a refreshing twist to lunchtime, but double-check orders for any mix-ups!

I have celiac disease and have to avoid gluten. They offered a lettuce wrap burger to me after I informed the cashier of my allergy, and it was delicious. However, I also told them no onions on my burger, which the cashier did mark, but the cook put onions anyway, so I have to wonder if they're paying attention to the notes on the order.

Time for date night and restaurant roulette with the significant other? The one who can’t make up their mind and certainty not feeling what you are suggesting? Well, look no further. With four eateries like Julio’s Tacos offering tacos, nachos, quesadillas, chips and salsa. Murdoch Place has your burgers, dogs, toasties and appetizers. Looking for something with chicken? Well, Birdie’s is the place. Chicken sandwiches, popcorn chicken and strips, salads and sides, chicken n’ waffles and even a couple pork sandwiches. Last chance to persuade them that this is the place to be is Reid’s pizza. Classic or signature pies in Detroit Style thick crust, Minnesota Style Thin Crust or Gluten Free Thin Crust. The Workshop Bar for those libation leanings of midwestern brews, domestics, craft and seasonal cocktails, mocktails, and the Geez Louis. Libby’s Sweet Shop for confection cravings of shakes, malts, cheesecake, mini-donuts, cookies and churros. Dating back to the 1930s this historical building was the workshop for the canning factory and the iconic corncob water tower across the street. Originally owned and operated by Reid, Murdoch & Co. Beautifully restored, repurposed and simply decorated with a Minnesota theme. Large interior with brick walls, cement floor, open industrial ceiling, tables and chairs, padded booths and dividers. A barbershop is available during normal business hours and an outdoor patio is serving you and your furry companion. The pooch burger is available at Murdoch’s Place. Once inside claim a table or booth with something insignificant or a friend that is significant, scan the QR code on the table for menu options and head to the order counter of your choice. Overhead menus are also available at each individual counter. Pay and wait and the food is brought right to your table. Easy peasy. My blushing bride had her mind made up and in no time we were enjoying Reid’s thin crust, classic Supreme. Football shaped pizza nicely topped with ample amount of pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, onion, black olives, mozzarella cheese baked to a crispy thin crust perfection. Good food, comfortable atmosphere and friendly service.
This spot is a long-time favorite for gatherings, boasting a fantastic outdoor space and a menu that's easy to customize for everyone.

Fun, very tasty place for breakfast and lunch and dinner. The Dutch skillet was amazing, as was the blackberry creme muffin. The chocolate chip pannekoeken was more eggy than floury, which was fantastic for me, as I minimize my gluten consumption. Can’t wait to try their Muenster cheese curds, cabbage rolls, and more!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would! Awesome everything!!! Plus I had the best gluten free pizza ever made with a cauliflower crust which was actually quite excellent... The Al Capone. The waitstaff was terrific and the bartender was a hoot! I wish we had a place like this near home. Will remember this visit for a very long time😊

Zen Fusion Hibachi was delicious, and the service was top notch. Corinne was delightful and kind, cheerful and knowledgeable. Chef B was entertaining and charming, the best hibachi chef I've ever experienced.
Everyone was very careful about a gluten allergy in our group, and they were very accommodating for every personality and need.
Opa Opa is a fun, quaint, and festive little restaurant with kind and friendly service. From our experience, it was evident they care about their customers. Often it's difficult to find menu items that are gluten free within Greek cuisine, but our visit was delicious as well as gf. The Avgolemono soup is a great start to a meal with its delicate blend of chicken and lemon. With Kalamata olives and Salonika peppers on the side, they provide a mix of meaty texture, vinegar and spicy heat to compliment the more velvety smoothness of the soup. For a gluten free option, I'd suggest the Souvlaki, without the pita which is a shish kabob of charbroiled
chicken marinated in lemon, with a rich blend of spice. Our waiter was very attentive and sure to point out other foods we ordered which were not gf, such as the Falafel, which the rest of our table agreed were spiced perfectly! We look forward to visiting again.

Almadina is a downtown gem and one of the top restaurants in Rochester. The food is consistently cooked properly and is always absolutely delicious. The owners, Samar and Feras, put a lot of passion into the food they cook and the menu items they present--and the results show. I've never had a bad meal from Almadina and recommend it to all of my friends. The menu is also vegan and gluten-free friendly, so there is something for everyone! Personally, I love the lamb chops, chicken shawarma, tabouli, hummus, and falafel. My kids go crazy for the toum (garlic sauce).
Hashbrowns were extremely dry and difficult to eat, almost stale. Was disappointing because I haven't been to Perkins in some time and remember a much better hashbrown. Omelette was good, waitress attempted to assist with my gluten allergy but I was still made sick by my meal which was a meat and potato omelette substituted tots for hashbrowns.

So delicious!! 10/10 would come back anytime! We started with pork dumplings and fried tofu. My group is still talking about how mind-blowingly delicious the dumplings were (being gluten intolerant I was not able to partake). The fried tofu comes with a generous serving and was also delicious. The kitchen nailed the slightly crispy exterior and soft interior that makes fried tofu most delicious. We also enjoyed the soju and other drink options.
For the meal we had 2 types of Bibimbap, Bulgogi, and Japchae and we all had food left over. We’ve just left but I’m super looking forward to leftovers already. All orders come with complimentary Banchan (small shareable plates), and several entrees include Banchan also. Banchan rotates and depends on what the kitchen has available.
The menu has some options for gluten friendly and vegetarian alternatives for specific dishes. I am gluten sensitive and pregnant and the server was very attentive to my dietary restrictions and needs. She made sure the Banchan that came with my meal were options that I could have and asked the kitchen to thoroughly cook the egg that came with my Bibimbap.
We were impressed with the level of general noise of the restaurant. There was quiet, pleasant music playing in the background and you could easily hear each other talk without having to raise your voice. We did sit near a side entrance door which left us a bit chilly before our drinks and hot food hit our systems.
