Went for dinner and had a wonderful gluten free polenta with Japanese mushrooms which was on the specials of the day. It's nice when a restaurant has an espresso machine, but one thing that could be better is offering decaf espresso.

Always friendly staff, cool patrons, excellent food and drinks (Grace made us some lovely Earl martinis last night), and the best vibe in town! Plus, they always have good music playing. Plenty of gluten free options and never any cross contamination. My favorite dishes are the fish tacos and beet salad :)
A unique vegan haven with a fun, edgy vibe, creative menu, and outdoor seating that's perfect for enjoying your meal in a relaxed atmosphere.

Hectic vibes, vegan food. Just the way I like it. They have gluten free options, just confirm with someone from the very lovely staff that you have an allergy and they will take good care of you. Thanks so much, we loved it.

I had the stracciatella roasted mushrooms and salsa verde sandwich, and it was the best sandwich that I've ever eaten...seriously. I'm not a vegetarian, and I'm gluten sensitive, but I'm still dreaming about that sandwich and can't wait to travel back to St. Louis to have another. I also had a small gelato for desert - delicious!!! 😉 I dined on the back patio which was the perfect getaway for lunch. This will definitely be one of my St. Louis staple restaurants moving forward. I loved this place!

We went here last night for my partner’s birthday and it was the best meal out we’ve had in YEARS. The food is fresh, made to order, healthy, plentiful, and DELICIOUS. If you’re vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, or dairy free— THIS IS YOUR PLACE. Are you a vegan with meat-loving friends or family? Come to this restaurant and everyone will be happy!
We’re both fans of Ethiopian food, and this restaurant had all of our favorites, including what looked like a whole meal injera that was mouthwateringly delicious!
Each plate comes with a choice of injera, rice, or French fries. We over-ordered, which is never a problem for us because we love leftovers. Each plate you order is really a PLATTER — this place will feed you! We got the Sesame tofu, the Veggie Combo platter, and the Yellow Lentils. My partner loves French fries, so we got those as well as two orders of injera. Each dish came with two sides, and the veggie combo came with this gorgeous beet salad you can see pics of in other reviews. Next time we’re totally getting the rice, because her description of it as we were leaving made our mouths water when we were already full!
It’s located where Lulu’s used to be, which was another of our favorite restaurants. We have so many fond memories of that space, so to enjoy it with a new owner and restaurant was a real treat. The service was attentive, kind, and generous without ever being overbearing. The woman who works out front is so warm and friendly. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!
Experience a vibrant atmosphere with a unique twist on hot dogs, awesome bartenders, and a welcoming vibe for everyone!

I had heard nothing but great things. I decided to come as they had gluten free options and it’s rare to find a place with a GF hot dog bun.
The gentleman who took our order was very nice and the food came out efficiently. The taste of the food (2 dogs and a brat, two fries) were great, my nieces enjoyed theirs a lot. Mine tasted great, although the GF option isn’t really a hot dog bun…it was more like a sub sandwich bun. Within an hour of leaving this place I was SO SICK. Nausea and severe stomach pains - which is what happens if I am accidentally exposed to a fair amount of gluten. While I understand this is not a dedicated gluten free restaurant, I have eaten at many other places that are not either. I suspect Steve’s Hot Dog cross contamination practices are very lax & this is disappointing. If you’re going to offer GF items, you need to be knowledgeable and attempt to at least not make people sick!
Before we left, we waited to use the rest room (one was out of order). An employee came out and he had the worst smelling B.O. I have ever experienced. We were gagging in the bathroom. It sort of grosses you out when you know someone is working in the kitchen and they have a body odor issue like that.
A classic diner vibe with a fun superhero theme, serving expertly prepared comfort food that pleases diners of all ages.

Very well-prepared classic diner food, with special options, and great, clear options for all dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, nut free, egg free, paleo). The build-your-own omelette we ordered was just right—the onions, mushrooms and jalapeños were grilled to perfection and the eggs were cooked just as we like them. Potatoes were crispy on the outside and creamy inside and seasoned well. Fruit bowl was a nice value and super fresh. We also ordered the homemade banana bread, which came out warm having been grilled on the flat top first—one could choose with or without walnuts. Classic diner seating and superhero flair to the decor was fun. Great service. Even if you don’t care about the niche superhero theme, the food is great if you’re looking for classic quality diner fare. Great for all ages.
The Dublin burger was AMAZING. This burger was incredible, and without a bun (and sadly the Guinness onions) it is gluten free (as I am celiac)... Great meal, good service and Steve the cook is outstanding..
