Visited today for the first time. It was a lunchtime visit. The service was excellent as was the food! It was great that my wife had gluten free options.
It really was a cool place to eat.
We will definitely visit again.

Apponaug is a fantastic Rhode Island brewery. Typical (but beautiful) industrial/converted mill aesthetic, great food (including gluten free options for my wife), and a wide variety of beer styles. They generally have a strong German lineup (Kolsch, pils, schwartzbier, Vienna) alongside more modern styles (ipa, NEIPA, Mexican lager). Services is always friendly , and the outdoor space is amazing when it's not raining.
Was a nice restaurant and they did have several gluten free options available. The gluten free pasta tastes amazing. I would have given 5 stars but when I ordered my meal it had an option to add shrimp for an additional charge. The waitress informed me it was an additional 14.99 to add shrimp to a $12.95 meal which I thought was very ridiculous seeing as I could just order another entire meal for the price of 5-6 PCs of shrimp.
Portifinos has been around forever. Elizabeth now owns it. Always had a good experience there. They are able to accommodate those with celiac disease which is nice for those people (never tried their gluten free offerings). It’s a solid and consistent Italian restaurant the food is very good as for service I mostly sit at the bar and no problems there but I can’t speak for a sit down experience. They are good for parties as well.
The goods - the cashier was extremely professional and courteous. He was also trying to stock everything, put out floor mats, and clean the tables all at lunch time.
Had three orders - one gluten free bun that was stale, dry and fell apart. Terrible.
The bathrooms, men’s and women’s, were disgusting.
Lastly, it smelled like they have t cleaned the grease in there ever.
I wouldn’t really mind, I’ve come to expect this as the New England Good Enough service, but I had raved about SB to some friends. They will it be back.
A lively spot with impressive service and a knowledgeable staff, making dining out with groups a breeze and delivering divine mocktails.

Went in last night with a midsized group.
Though the restaurant was bustling, the service was pristine.
As a customer that’s both celiac & sober, going out with a group can prove daunting at times.
Having not seen these items marked on the menu, I consulted with the server.
After delivering a pristine mocktail, I trusted his call on what would be the best gluten free option.
Extensive knowledge on the likes of cross contamination & what would be the safest.
The meal & mocktails themselves were divine but the service was truly very impressive.
This vegan joint offers unique fast food options like gluten free onion rings and a vibrant outdoor space that’s perfect for sunny days.

I’ve been here many times but felt compelled to rate today due to the great service and food. I asked the woman at the front if she knew if the tofu was GMO or not, and she said it was non-GMO and even told me the brand name of the tofu. Until today I’ve not tried the tofu dishes due to not knowing their GMO status (never asked), as eating non-GMO is important to me and soy is often genetically modified. Well, I tried the power lunch bowl which has glazed tofu - delicious! I love having lighter options among some of the fried or denser options on the menu. The bowl will be my go-to now.
I also grabbed the gluten-free strawberry shortcake chia pudding and it was SO good that I went to the drive thru after to grab one to bring home to my partner. I’m not sure if it’s a standard offering but I hope so! It was my first time trying grab and go products and I was very pleased.
Lastly, the woman I interacted with had such positive energy and always radiates kindness. I had her as a cashier in the past before and I remember she left the same impression on me that time. I imagine in the service industry that is not always easy, so I really want to highlight the good energy she brings to the store. I can’t recall her name but she has brown hair and a septum ring - anyway, she’s killing it with the customer service!
Thanks PCX for offering plant based options in the Warwick area!

Was an insanely busy place today during our visit. We waited for 34 minutes total in the drive through! Yes, insanity we know, but others waited longer. Was it worth it?? I am going to have to go with a big YES! Everything was very delicious. I had a large Spiced Iced Chai with lite ice and in no way did this disappoint. I also had the American Sub on Gluten Free bread. The gluten free bread was very tasty which is rare and wonderfully soft, again rare. The meats, lettuce, tomatoes all tasted of a good clean quality and I very much appreciated this tasty gluten free find. My wife had a Blueberry French Toast ice coffee and she was ridiculously happy....and much like the good gluten bread.....this is a rare occurrence! Lol. She also had a Blueberry muffin which I broke my rule and tasted and it was very noisy and delicious. The drive though line had 10 plus cars in it at all times and the inside of the place was packed. These suck to wait in but usually a good sign that a place has some good foods worth waiting. Im sure this place would absolutely warrant a full 5 stars on a normal day with less chaos both inside and out.
I arrived 30 seconds (10:30am) before the switched over to lunch menu. Who wants lunch at 10:30am?! Told me they did not know what was gluten free or not and directed me to their app to find out. Well, when your in a drive thru your not going to hold up the line. This is why I have never been there nor will I return. Please, educate your staff!
Expect a bustling vibe during summer evenings with plenty of tasty options and great value, perfect for enjoying at the nearby waterfront.

We came for the Gluten Free night! I hope they do it again. Even though I waited over 2 hours to order my food (apparently all the celiacs in the area caught word this was happening!) It was so so good!
Went here for dinner on 10/24/21 because it had gluten free options and was across the street from the hotel that we were staying at.
My husband and I split the buffalo chicken dip ($13.50) and subbed vegetables for bread because I have Celiac.
Super cool that they were able to get me roasted potatoes as the fries aren't gluten free for my $25.50 steak frites. My husband had the regular fries with his steak frites as he doesn't have Celiac disease.
It's a bit pricey for a mostly empty plate. Maybe it's just a visual thing, but seeing 1/3 of the plate totally empty and the other 1/3 being swiped with an artistic swipe of cauliflower puree just feels like a rip off. More potatoes and cauliflower would be nice.
Love the food, especially the breakfast sandwiches. The Awakening is awesome. They also have gluten free bread options. The coffee and drinks very good as well.
