I’ve heard such amazing things about this place so I was really excited to try it. I ordered my food on Uber eats so that may have made the difference with dine out. The pizza was OK, I didn’t love the cheese and there wasn’t a lot of sauce. However, the bread was great especially gluten-free. The fries were a little bit cold so that might be why they weren’t so good but I wasn’t in love. And the mac & cheese was OK. It was probably the best thing out of all three items that I tried. I just wish it had more cheese. I would definitely try it again, but would try different items or in person this time.
Enjoy an authentic Italian vibe with standout wood-fired pizza and a lively atmosphere that keeps locals coming back for more.

The gluten free crust was really good! Service definitely stole the show, Giacomo was charming and kind. The rest of the staff were also attentive to guests needs regardless of if it was their table or not. Really makes a difference in making it a great experience. Would definitely come back.

I can’t believe all the great reviews here. The service was terrible- we were ignored for over 30 mins before our order was served. The waitress didn’t seem to even bother to ask us about our food- though she was doing that to all the neighboring tables (racist much?).
The food was quite bad, tbh. The hot shrooms were drenched in oil- had no salt or flavor, and oozed oil when we bit into it. My friend felt really nauseated after because of all the oil in it.
The pizza was also under seasoned(we got the motor thingy)… the tomato sauce was really sweet- not in a good way. It felt like they had added sugar instead of salt. The gluten free crust was more like a focaccia, it wasn’t bad but felt like I was eating a sweet tomato focaccia toast, not a pizza. And there was really no flavor outside of the sweet tomato sauce.
Very disappointed.
A lively spot where unique pasta choices and creative cocktails make every visit feel like a warm reunion with friends.

Best pasta joint in LA! Been coming here for over 20 years. When I discovered that they had GF options, I literally did a victory dance because I didn’t have to give up on one of my favorite places. I wish they’d make their tiramisu in a GF version…that’d make this place perfect.

We had take away. Gluten free pizza crust was good. Sauce was typical So-Cal bland. Spinach salad with balsamic salad dressing had an alarming amount of rosemary. My sautéd spinach had a hard piece of foreign matter in it, which hurt my tooth and ruined my meal. I shared a photo of the object with the manager and he stated that he only needed to reimburse me for the spinach as that was the only part of my food impacted. Clearly he is fine with foreign matter in his pricy food. Not a restaurant that I will return to.
A family-run gem with attentive service and a fabulous selection, perfect for a cozy meal that keeps you coming back for more.

Absolutely fantastic! They have fresh gluten free pasta that is out of this world delicious. My daughter and I stayed there for 2 hours enjoying drinks, appetizers, salad, pasta and dessert. All gluten free and wonderful! The service is a perfect blend of attentive and allowing you to have your space. I have eaten here three time so far. I will be back anytime I am in Carmel. Did I mention fresh made gluten free pasta!!!

A wonderful gem of a place in Little Italy. A family business, with the proprietors giving you a taste of real Italian humor should you give them an opening (try ordering a dry cappuccino, lol). It’s rather small and fills up fast, so plan for waiting if you’re heading there for dinner. Worth it, though. We had the Frutti de Mare Linguini (special), Lobster Ravioli and Funghi & Salsiccia pizza. They have gluten free options. Highly recommend!

Got the grand slam. Never would have guessed the pancakes were both vegan and gluten free. Everything was delicious. The sausage and eggs are definitely vegan, but taste great. Service was excellent, excited to try other things.

From what i understand this places reputation doesn’t even need a review because of how highly it was talked about but, here we are anyway. As a plant based gluten free person not often (or ever) do I get to indulge in Mac and cheese and holy macaroni this was single handily the best dish that has graced my taste buds. Is that dramatic? Yes absolutely but they earned it. The atmosphere, staff and options catered to dietary restrictions is off the charts. I also got their vegan gluten free brownie and it was divine. You have to go!
This casual spot features a vibrant patio, varied menu options, and a focus on dietary accommodations, making it a local favorite for diverse tastes.

Went here to celebrate a family birthday, with everyone eating gluten-free. Disappointed there was no gluten-free beer available. The mozzarella cheese fries appetizer took half an hour, and was strange—odd presentation with way too much cheese (it looked like cheese pie—which okay, who doesn’t love more cheese? but visually, it was unappetizing, not browned or bubbly, just a slab of melted cheese) and underneath, the fries were barely cooked. When we mentioned it to the server, she didn’t apologize or make it right—she told us the fries are baked that way in the oven since they don’t have a dedicated gluten-free fryer, and they end up undercooked. Okay….Our pizza was good, but not enough sauce, and the sausage was crumbled instead of bite-sized pieces. The gluten-free vegan lasagna was delicious! But the slow service (it wasn’t crowded, but every step of service was slow) and “sucks to be gluten-free” attitude of the server and cook were disappointing. And the ‘80s pop music all night was not our thing.
Charming spot with a cozy vibe, featuring stellar homemade dishes and outdoor seating—perfect for a delightful family or date night out.

Wow. Just wow. We just had an absolutely elite meal here. It's an unassuming spot, with a casual but cozy ambiance. Great for a date, celebration, or really any time you want a delicious plate of pasta.
If they have the mushroom flan, start with that. It was savory, and flavorful. We had the gluten free version, but I'm sure the normal is excellent as well.
I was impressed with the range of gluten free options, which is always appreciated for me (celiac). My partner had the crab and shrimp cream sauce with lemon linguini pasta, and she raved about it. I had the same linguini, but with the sausage saffron sauce, and loved it.
The dessert menu had a number of decadent sounding options, we settled for thr ugly chocolate cake and the GF tiaramisu. The tiaramisu was so creamy it was almost a pudding - tasty, and melt in your mouth smooth. The ugly chocolate cake (that's what they call it) was lighter than I expected, rich, but kinda airy like a soufflé.
Anyway, I can't say enough about this spot. It's a gem. If you want good pasta, this place delivers in spades.
This charming spot offers a cozy vibe with a unique selection of vegetarian and vegan options, making it a must-visit for health enthusiasts.

Impasta is great. It is vegetarian or vegan depending on what you order and most is gluten free.
The place is very clean and super cute. It is not huge, it is the perfect size. It is not fancy and it does not need to be. The prices are fair and the service is super nice and pretty fast.
They have great vegan pasta and they have a cauliflower pizza that is super. You will love it. I love all their pizzas, they don't have a lot, but what they have is great.
As to their pastas all are very good, but we love the kelp noodles--really try it. It is great. They have a few different sauces to choose from. We like the pink sauce.
Their parmesan bread is the best. Get that.
All of their salads are great. Mu favorite is the arugula salad.
They do have proteins you can add to any pasta, salad or pizza. We like the chicken, the salmon and the bacon is so good.
You will love this little place. Have fun.
A cozy spot that feels like home with stunning Italian dishes, a beautiful ambiance, and a perfect choice for special occasions.

It’s hard to find gluten free pizza. Tried the
Luau one and the pepperoni 🍕. If you buy a medium you can take the rest home for lunch. The service is good the staff is friendly. Our waiter Shawn was very nice. My friend bought two of their wine glasses that have the name on them. 👍 👍

TLDR: celiac friendly
My celiac friend and I stopped by to try out their gluten free flatbread and she took half of hers to go which is highly uncommon. Most gf breads are like cardboard or rubbery but this flatbread tasted just like gluten bread! She didn't get sick so there was definitely no gluten in it but whatever it was, it was amazing!
I ordered gluten full tortellini which looked and tasted like it was made in house and I was completely satisfied with my meal. We stopped by just as happy hour was ending and our waiter was quick to help us get some happy hour wine orders in before it was too late.
The bathroom... it an experience. Like many cities, some locations work within their confines and RoVino got very clever. The restroom is a short walk outside the restaurant which at first seems so strange because they have someone walk you down to it. At the end of the block, tucked away you'll find a very clean little walk to a door with their logo. Type in the code and you enter a 1 stall restroom. It was so random but well done, I'll be talking about that little experience for a while.

During the holidays I went here twice. Once to meet with friends. I had the carrot soup and the wonderful ginger honey tea, which inspired me to start making it at home. The food was so delicious I had to go back. I wanted to try their breakfast. So Sunday morning after Christmas, i went back with family. They had a wonderful young jazz quartet who provided the most unexpected and best atmosphere during breakfast. Gluten-free pancake breakfast with tea and jazz.

We had a very nice server and there’s a great ambiance at Scopa, perfect for dates and connecting with friends alike. They have a gorgeous bar, large window, candles on the tables, and all of our food came perfectly coursed. We were easily able to make a same-day reservation via the Resy app, and I do recommend making a reservation in advance because it was popping when we arrived. For parking, you can either park in the connected valet lot ($13 on a Monday) or look for free street parking (we found it pretty easily, but then again it was a Monday).
There are the top four absolute must-order items you should order to share:
1. Hot Antipasti - Scallops Oreganata ($23) with brown butter, bread crumbs, & lemon. I’m gluten free so I asked for no breadcrumbs, and I also recommend ordering a side of gluten free bread to dip in the brown butter after you finish enjoying the scallops because they have the absolute best gluten free cheesecheese bread! They only came with 2 scallops in an order so consider ordering enough so each person can have at least 1 full scallop.
2. Hot Antipasti - Mortadella Meatballs ($21) with pistachio pesto, arugula, & parmesan cheese. This came with 3 medium-large sized meatballs covered in a delicious green pesto - don’t let looks deceive you, even if this isn’t how you expect meatballs to look they’re delish.
3. Cold Antipasti - Heirloom Tomatoes ($18) with sweet onion, basil, ricotta salata cheese, sherry vinegar, & olive oil. If you enjoy tomatoes of all shapes and sizes, this is the dish for you. My favorite were the little orange tomatoes.
4. Salad - Raw Brussels Sprouts Salad ($22) with generous pecorino romano cheese, parsley, grapes, olive oil, sherry vinegar, & toasted almonds. This was a good portion size and the best raw Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had.
While I did really enjoy the flavor of oysters themselves and their sauces, and I do want to put them as item 5 to order, each of the oysters had some shell bits had to spit out, and it only came with 1 spoon and 0 mini forks. The oysters come with lemon slices, cocktail sauce, shredded horseradish, mignonette, and are $4.50 each with a minimum of 6. I would order them again, but enjoy them carefully and hope that they’re shucked better next time.
However…
Maybe things were off because it was a Monday and they had multiple large last minute parties walk in. Maybe I should have gone for the pastas instead of the below because it is an Italian restaurant. Maybe I’m just a person who enjoys more seasoning on seafood or less sauce on pork chops, but a few of the dishes weren’t exactly as good as I was expecting.
Unless you love canned tuna, absolutely avoid the Sicilian Tuna Cold Antipasti ($19) with market green beans, fingerling potato, capers, lemon, & olive oil. It wasn’t until we mentioned to our server our strong disappointment with the dish, as we were expecting either Tuna Crudo or Seared Tuna, that our server told us that he usually steers guests away from it. It also had zero seasoning, and boy did it need it. It also feels like this dish should have automatically been served with crackers.
The Amberjack Crudo ($25) with watermelon radish, bulls blood micro greens, & herb oil needed a combo-sauce or a stronger flavored oil, as it was very bland as-is. Luckily not a fishy-fish, but still lackluster for their only fish crudo on the menu.
For the Mains, they were already sold out of the 24oz T-bone Steak ($82) when we arrived, and the server recommended the Pork Chop. The generous portion of Pork Chop ($66) came with crispy fingerling potatoes, roasted shallots, olives, capers, garlic, balsamic vinegar, & fresh herbs. The balsamic was more of a thick, sweet, heavy glaze, and it overpowered the meat. Personally, we both felt it was over-sauced.
A creative dining experience awaits with unique dishes and exceptional non-alcoholic pairings, all in a serene atmosphere perfect for intimate conversations.

I had their 5-course tasting menu.
I shared my dietary restrictions and that I am vegetarian beforehand. And Sorrel did an excellent job at adding delicious and creative alternatives and came up with a vegetarian menu for me, keeping dietary restrictions in mind.
All the dishes were great but I particularly liked the one with root vegetables, risotto that was served with a bread with seeds/nuts since I cannot have gluten which I really enjoyed and the desert that I had very slowly because I did not want it get over :D
Sorrel also offers zero proof pairings(non-alcoholic) which I decided to go for and was the best decision for this course - this provided more variety like tea, soup and some really interesting drinks which matched so well with the food that was served. Highly recommend this.
I had a long day so I was very happy that I had dinner at Sorrel.
It did take a while for some dishes to be served, there is no waiting area and have to wait outside until they are ready, it was really difficult to get through on call with the restaurant.
A go-to spot near the hospital with an inviting vibe, great crepes, refreshing juices, and rave reviews for brunch and lunch.

Had a wonderful dinner here this evening. I am gluten free and ordered the gnocchi and my husband had the lamb tagliatelle pasta. Great portion sizes. We ordered a bottle of the Super Tuscan which is luscious! We took what was left with us. We shared the misto salad which they graciously split for us. Our service and food were wonderful. We have been to Italy and this is top notch.
Folks Italy is Italy-it’s the terroir of there and cannot be matched but this came pretty darn close! Would defiantly eat here again.

Amazing food and service. My partner is gluten free and they made sure to take care of us. We had arepa and the chicken harvest soup. All very yummy. The lemon ricotta for dessert was not just the right amount of sweet. Also, matcha latte is to die for. Eat here, you won't regret.
