I have Celiac Disease and have been missing pizza for the last 28 years. That is until I found this restaurant! I used my gluten free app to locate it while on an account visit. The crust is divine!!! They have a completely separate room to prepare and cook all their gluten free offerings which is just about everything. I first came here about 4 months ago and have been wanting to come back since. As a Celiac patient I can not speak highly enough about this special place. This visit gave me the same thrill as the first. My server Andrei B is very helpful and attentive. The vibe is cool and laid back full of the chefs awards and accolades. I highly recommend you give them a try.

Great First Experience, Especially for Gluten-Free/Dairy-Free Diners Tried Burton’s for the first time and had a fantastic experience. We’ve recently started a gluten-free and dairy-free diet, which usually makes dining out tricky — but Burton’s made it feel easy. What really stood out was how their entire menu is mirrored with a dedicated gluten-free version. You’re not stuck with a handful of second-tier options — instead, you can order the same dishes as everyone else, just with gluten-free substitutions. That’s rare and genuinely appreciated. Our server was excellent — informed, attentive, and accommodating. As soon as we mentioned the dietary restrictions, he immediately pointed us to the gluten-free menu and said, “I got you on the dairy-free.” He walked us through our options and made sure everything we ordered was safe and satisfying. And the food? Outstanding. We had roasted vegetables with steak and salmon (one of each), and both dishes were flavorful, fresh, and well-prepared — not always the case with gluten-free meals. Everyone in our group (party of nine!) seemed happy with their dishes as well. The only note is that it’s on the pricier side. With an appetizer, one glass of wine, a tea/lemonade, and two entrees, the bill came to about $109 including tip. But for the quality, service, and allergy awareness, it’s worth it — definitely a great spot for a date night or a special occasion.

If you want amazing fried fish, check this place out. I haven’t had fried fish since I was diagnosed with Celiac (about 6 years ago). It was amazing. A nice crispy light batter made with brown rice flour. It was great!

They advertise a lunch menu on the website, yet when you try to order online for lunch, they don't give you the option to order lunch online... they just give you a full menu or gluten-free menue which is completely different from their initial lunch menu they advertise.. another words, you are unable to order lunch online.

Ok we found this place by accident while shopping and holy cow! I’m blown away. I so appreciate a restaurant that is so thoughtful to have no seed oils and so many gluten free options! I’ve been gluten free for 15 years and sometimes you just really want fried fish! My dreams came true with the gf desserts too!! A MUST stop location for anyone who is health minded or has food allergies. Our server was STELLAR with Porter! He was amazing. We will Be back again and again!

Everything we ordered was amazing, the food there always leaves us feeling full but energetic. It’s great being able to have a nice meal without feeling tired or bloated after. Ron provides amazing service and gives the best recommendations. We started with the mussels, they were delicious and the sauce was so good we had to order more of their gluten free bread to soak it up. Their bread tastes delicious and literally melts in your mouth. The spicy watermelon margarita was one of the best alcoholic beverages I’ve ever had, I had planned on doing the wine pairing but the margarita was so good I ended up ordering another instead. Then I tried the French onion soup, it was so fresh and delicious with a great heap of goat cheddar on top. For my main course I had lasagna at Ron’s recommendation. It was phenomenal, it was hard to believe it was gluten free. I did steal a few bites of my fiancée’s carbonara with filet added and it was also delicious. We ended the night with the orange cake, it was the perfect end to the night, so much flavor!

Absolutely delicious Italian fare! I had the Rigatoni with jumbo shrimp and my wife had the chicken Alfredo with fresh gluten free pasta. Amazing! Highly recommend.

Ripe is our favorite restaurant! The food is always prepared fresh and you can tell they put all the care into sourcing fresh ingredients and preparing everything from scratch--a true "slow food" philosophy and experience (look it up, it's a whole movement countering fast food and hyper processed junk). You feel like you are eating real food, prepared lovingly and with the utmost care. And that is to say nothing of the service! Everyone at ripe is kind, attentive, and always seeking to make every patron's experience the best! Emilio, chef and owner, is always present, tending to every detail of the operation, and interacting with guests! That is to say nothing of their accommodations for allergies! Did I mention Ripe is 100% gluten free?? For customers with a gluten intolerance, you can eat and rest assured that everything you consume will be fresh, healthy, and wholesome. If I could give Ripe ten stars, I would! Highly recommend!

Was really looking forward to this place but was hugely underwhelmed. First off, didn’t see anywhere online where you could make reservations so waited an hour and 20 minutes to seat two people. Gluten free bread had a weird after taste and the dipping sauce spices. Got our dinner and was up charged for the store bought gluten free noodles on the chicken parm. My husband got spaghetti and they also upcharged him for noodle swap We came to celebrate a birthday and was charged for the birthday dessert which I have Never had happen at any restaurant-besides the fact that it was just bleh custard Overall, food lacking in flavor and quality and wildly overpriced. Of note-we both finished eating and felt sick after ..sharp pain in stomach sick and he never has food troubles. Only reason this place is getting 3 star is for our server.

I just wanted to say thank you to our waitress (wish I remembered her name) and the kitchen for the care they took last night in ensuring my toddler was safe, and providing ample variety for him to eat that was gluten free. I felt like whatever I asked for, even if it wasn’t on the menu, they made happen. Gluten free pizza, pasta and bread for the cheese and meat board. Everything was delicious. My mom got to enjoy her pork chop again for her birthday! Just as delicious as the first time! My CRESTE DI GALLO was amazing! Definitely not what I was there for, but so happy our waitress recommended it. She was great, knowledgeable and made our experience that much better. Pretty girl with braids on the smaller side. My moscato was nice and crisp, not flat. Nothing tasted, or felt gluten free. Start to finish an amazing experience last night! The bill was 160$ for our table. Which wasn’t bad at all for the variety we got.

Hi, Sorry about this, but people need to know. We ate here 7 times the first 5 times were wonderful. We both are diagnosed, symptomatic CELIACS . The 6th time we both got sick. Ruined our trip. 2 years later, we figured we would give them another shot. Nope !!! I didn't make it out of the restaurant. I had to run to the bathroom... as we know guys , it was coming out of both ends. Needless to say . ruined our vacation.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cafe Vert has become our go-to spot for family breakfast ! This family-run restaurant serves authentic French breakfast with the best vibes. What we love most is their extensive gluten-free menu, which caters perfectly to our needs since our whole family avoids gluten. The food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is both warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

This place exceeded expectations. Excellent food, drinks and service. We started with raw clams and spicy margaritas and then had two pasta dishes for entrees. My partner is gluten free and they offer gluten free pasta which was great! Everything tasted and was presented beautifully. Serving sizes were very generous - I took at least half my entree home! Our server was friendly, professional and quick. We will be back!

The pizza was so light, fresh, and simply delicious! I ordered the Tre Formaggi with gluten-free crust. One of the tastiest gluten-free crusts I’ve ever tasted and the taste of the pizza was just memorable. I dreamt about it in my sleep. O what an incredible meal we had at Cooper's Hawk! I'd seen a few people mention it in a local fb group and decided to take hubby for his birthday. He often eats gf to keep me safe and we had so many options! They mentioned they just overhauled their gluten-free procedures not long ago and I felt very confident in all of our meal. Everything is made from scratch. Started with a warm gf roll and butter Appetizer: Bacon Wrapped Shrimp Hubby's Plate: Blue Cheese Burger w/ Fries My Plate: Cilantro Ranch Chicken Sandwich w/ Fries Dessert: Truffles (as a birthday gift from Cooper's Hawk) The bacon wrapped shrimp was probably my favorite part of the meal as the taste was one that just lingered. I mean fabulous. Just an incredible meal with great service and I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything. Also loved our server Christine.

100/10, absolutely excellent. Especially if you have Celiac and have to be gluten free -- they have GOT YOU. This is one of the largest gluten free menus I've ever been able to order from that wasn't a dedicated GF restaurant. We got the drunken shrimp, chicken risotto, and smores budino, and it was so good! There were five or six GF deserts I could've chosen too, which is unheard of. The gluten free bread alone won me over. It was so incredible, even my husband loved it. The wine is delicious -- we joined the wine club and got the seasonal dragonfruit sangria, as well as the white sangria. Highly recommend!! Bonita at the wine tasting bar took care of us, she has the best personality and laugh, such a joy. 🥰 Give this woman a raise! Also Casey W, our waitress, for the great service and taking care of my GF needs. We had such a great experience, we definitely recommend. Top 3 restaurant in the Tampa/St. Pete/Saraota area for us.

I've been here twice now. I had lunch with a friend last month. I ordered a combo lunch special of a roman slice of pizza and a side salad, and I subbed in a caesar salad. Both were great, and I really liked the crumbled egg yolk on the caesar. I ended up with a gift card so I came back in yesterday with my husband. We both ordered pasta dishes and subbed the pasta for spaghetti squash! I had traditional alfredo and added chicken, while my husband had basil pomodoro with house-made sausage added on. I LOVED my meal. Homemade alfredo is my favorite and I'd say this sauce is comparable to what I make at home. Maybe a little better ;-) I had enough on my gift card to also get dessert so I got the cheesecake with a gluten-free crust. I really appreciate having the option to order spaghetti squash in place of traditional pasta and even in place of gluten-free pasta. On top of the food being great, the staff and management are also fantastic. Everyone is so kind and makes sure that you're taken care of. I'll definitely be back!

This place is AWESOME!!!!! Such a great surprise in Crystal River. Food was delicious and staff was amazing. Two of our guests had celiac disease and there were many choices to be had. I will come back again when I visit. We had the Branzino, shrimp and grits, gluten free grille dcheese, fish and other things I can't recall.

Excellent GF pasta dish! Ordered the rigatoni ‘D’ pasta w/ chicken dish. For GF, they’ll sub w/ GF penne. The sauce was delicious and they actually cooked the noodles to perfection. Verified separate water for boiling noodles. Very tasty and very accommodating. Menu is not labeled yet server very knowledgeable. No contamination issues for me. Will return!

This place is such a gem! The food was amazing and the whole vibe of the restaurant was just so warm and welcoming. You can tell there’s real love put into everything—from the food to the service. The owner came by our table and actually took the time to chat with us, which was such a nice touch. He’s a great guy—friendly, down-to-earth, and clearly passionate about what he does. It made the experience feel extra personal. I went with a friend who has to eat gluten-free, and she’s the one who suggested we try this spot. I was happy to report that they have tons of gluten-free options—and not the boring kind either! The gluten-free pizza looked amazing. Honestly, if I didn’t know, I wouldn’t have guessed it was gluten-free. It looked and smelled just like the real deal. We shared the Blakely pizza and let me just say—WOW. It was absolutely delicious! Perfect crust, awesome toppings, full of flavor. We also tried these little bites called something like “love balls”. They were crispy on the outside, warm and cheesy on the inside, and just insanely good. Safe to say we’ll definitely be coming back. Great food, great people, and a great experience all around. Can’t wait for round two!

Food & service were 100% on point. Server was very knowledgeable and friendly. Wonderful atmosphere. I have multiple food allergies along with celiac disease which makes eating out tricky leaving me with few places to eat at due to risks. They did everything to accommodate me even the manager (who is also wonderful by the way) came out and assured me that they will do everything to make sure there’s no risk of cross contamination. Did I mention the food was AMAZING?! Even the gluten free bread in the beginning was the best. I had to ask twice to make sure it wasn’t gluten because it tasted SO scrumptious. Best experience overall glad to know there’s another restaurant in town that I can consider safe for my allergies when going out with family/friends.

Honestly, I love this pizzeria. The owner was super fast to answer my email about their GF crust ingredient list and their vegan cheese with full details. After that, I’ve been ordering delivery regularly, and have picked up a few times. I’m going to have to stop eating gluten soon - but their large regular pizza has the perfect amount of flop, foldability, cheese stretch, and lil bit of oil. Chicken parm, homemade sauce, the chocolate lasagna. 👩🏻‍🍳💋 No complaints from my fam members that already eat GF and use no cheese at all. AND They work with all my wacky requests - half ricotta/half red sauce base. Throw the this here and the that there. Sprinkle it with magic so I don’t gain ten pounds. They even included a free GF birthday cake slice when I did a birthday order and wrote “Happy Birthday” like I asked. Amazing and amiable place, no matter how you order. If you miss Thunderhead Pizza (🪦), give a shout to this place and they may just be able to recreate that crazy pizza of your dreams. 😘

This place is such a great amenity for Cabana Bay. There is something for everyone. My wife has a gluten allergy and the chef prepared her a meal to accommodate her dietary needs. WE ate two meals here during our stay. I had churrasco beef and then the super salad. My wife had gluten free pizza and gluten free chicken nuggets. The salad was probably the best salad I have had in a very long time and felt like a great value at under $10. The gluten free chicken nuggets were top notch. Glad to report that my wife had no adverse reactions after eating here. Don't make a special trip here if you are not staying on property, but if you are there take advantage of the options.
