We've been wanting to come here for years to eat fried chicken free of gluten and other allergens. Today we finally made it from La Fortuna, San Carlos.
The chicken is spectacular, but the best part is the experience of being able to eat with peace of mind knowing we won't get sick.
The prices are great. But you have to be careful because the portions are very large, so it's very easy to order much more food than necessary, although it's not a problem because you can always take it home 😆

I read another review that said Ani’s had the best açaí bowls in town, and wow, I’m obsessed!
They offer either yogurt base or coconut milk base, and adding peanut butter on top really takes it up another level. Bonus: they have gluten free granola! It’s pretty pricey, but so is the rest of Santa Teresa. And I’ll happily pay $17 again and again for what is undoubtedly the best, creamiest, freshest-tasting açaí bowl I’ve ever had. The service is lovely (albeit a little understaffed at peak hours), and the aesthetic here is great too.

I love this place. I have been going here for years and my favorite food is the peanut satay, korean popcorn chicken, crab rangoons and the spicy margs.
The team are awesome. I recommend going early. They can get super busy and like any restaurants in the high season, it can take a bit longer when they are packed.
