Very good food, the quality of the raw materials can be felt. Almost the entire menu offers vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free variations.
The only flaw: a little too expensive considering the size of the portions, £20 for a slightly skimpy salad as a main dish seems excessive to me. £9 a starter with literally 6 slices of beetroot carpaccio and the same goes for the rest. If you don't have any problems spending a little more you can easily get the starter, main dish and dessert without bursting at the seams. It depends what one is looking for from a dinner in Scotland.
Enjoy a cozy vibe here with unique menu options, attentive service, and a great atmosphere, making it a memorable stop for your visit.

We had visitors 2 were Coeliac and 1 was lactose intolerant and one was vegetarian, the staff could not have been better, GF and vegetarian menu were available and they even adapted something from the main menu for us. The atmosphere, food, service and drinks were amazing, I will definitely be back again. Amazing place, congratulations to you all.

Chloe, Kirsty and Alice were very helpful and accommodating. We had a coeliac member in our party and we were informed very well what could be gluten free. The food was outstanding and drinks were great - especially the razzle dazzle mocktail. Thanks for a great night!
This cozy spot boasts a fantastic menu with diverse options, creating a perfect ambiance for celebrations or casual outings.

I am coeliac and the place is fantastic. Great selection of food, I had Mac n cheese with BBQ pulled pork and it was delicious. Terrific value for money and the staff are friendly and very efficient. First time here, will not be the last. Oh, my wife had chicken and Stornoway black pudding pie -no dietary restrictions- which was also absolutely delicious. Fabulous wee place.
A cozy spot with a seasonal menu and creative vegan dishes, perfect for a casual hangout, though service can be hit or miss.

Lovely wee place, great atmosphere and yummy vegan dishes. So pleased to see gluten-free options also available and a seasonal menu- an added bonus. The only downside was the lack virgin cocktails, or any low-alcohol options! I would've greatly preferred this as an option, especially considering how Nooch touts itself to be a health-conscious and ethical business. Irregardless we still had a lovely time and will be back to try out the rest of their menu.
A fantastic spot for families with great food choices and amazing service, plus a pet-friendly vibe that welcomes your furry friends!

Myself, husband and 4 children ate here on 17th August, and we are all in agreement that everything was fantastic. Great service and lovely food. Friendly staff a big shout out to the manager, we're here on holidays and he gave us great advice and tips on places to visit.
Kids menu had a fantastic choice, and my husband, who's gluten intolerant, was very impressed with the gluten-free menu and beer. We found it very reasonably priced for 6 of us with starters, mains, drinks and kids meals
Highly recommend.

I have climbed Wallace Monument many times when growing up but this was the first time I visited the cafe underneath, as I was visiting with a friend from abroad.
I can honestly say I think the soup I had is the best bowl of soup I have ever had. It was leek and potato and wasn’t creamy, instead in a clear broth and it was excellent.
I had a toastie with gluten free bread and it was also very good. There were plenty of veggie and gluten free options and I would return in a heartbeat.
The staff were super friendly and it wasn’t fancy or pretentious in any way. It was clean, welcoming and the food was great Scottish food that you want on a cold day - soup and a sandwich. They also do baked potatoes and toasties and loads of cakes too and everything was very well priced. No tourist trap here.
You should visit!

Excellent lunch and amazing coffee. Friendly service and good quirky decor. Flat access to ground floor.
Update: 2nd visit and their gluten free bread had not been delivered so they made my partner an excellent and very reasonable salad - bravo!
I booked on line after viewing the menu. As my wife is Coeliac the choices of Gluten free food was excellent as well as a wee treat for her 81st. Birthday. I was utterly disappointed when there was only one gluten free item on the menu and when I bought this to attention of waitress, I was told that the on line menu hadn't been altered which in effect is
false advertising. It spoiled my wife's birthday.
Enjoy vibrant flavors with huge portions and great value meal deals that satisfy easily for two nights.

Gorgeous food, very generous portion sizes and they use gram flour which being coeliac means the only thing I couldn’t eat on the menu was the naan bread! The meal deal for 3 people was easily enough for 3 of us for 2 nights and very reasonable price too! Would recommend
