Forget that this place is gluten free goods. It's one of, if not the best bakery in the area. Even if you aren't gluten free, you should eat here anyway because you won't know any difference.
Savor unique, creamy flavors made with local ingredients in a cozy shop that cares for the community and the environment.

The staff was extremely helpful; pulled out the ingredients list to verify my allergies. Delicious AND gluten free. You have to get the flight if you are dairy and gluten free; they had four flavors I could choose from, 4!!! So the flight it was and my husband got the waffle cone because we could have that too. Must get flavor….Bee’s Knees, top 3 ice cream flavors I have ever had. This will be a repeat everytime we come to Monterey
An adorable spot with a cozy vibe, known for its fluffy pancakes and generous portions, offering a tasty farm-to-table experience.

As a healthy-foodie type who is also gluten sensitive, this place was a fabulous find! All organic with amazing natural choices, for both vegetarian and paleo, and obviously, cautious about food allergy prep! Staff was beyond friendly and food was delicious! We will def make this a go-to spot when in town!
Enjoy a cozy atmosphere with delicious meals, attentive service, and a great location that keeps folks coming back for more.

Very nice meal, nice setting and great service tonight. I can't remember the name of our server, but she was very helpful and nice, especially when going through the Gluten Free options for me. Slight error on our part regarding the tip, but our server was very understanding and manged to her the tip she deserved.
Would be very happy to go back.
Fantastic, fresh gluten free, vegan treats, and definitely not just for vegans or gluten free eaters :) The almond biscotti were out of this world. Cute little spot as well, just steps from busy Cannery Row
Enjoy a cozy garden vibe with delicious vegan options, refreshing mocktails, and a lovely outdoor dining area perfect for evenings.

I used to really love this place. I have celiac disease, and almost all of their items are gluten free. They’ve always been pretty willing to accommodate me, and I considered this one of my staple spots. Unfortunately, after many times eating there successfully, I was glutened and got super sick. When I tried to discuss this with them, they showed very little compassion and basically hung up on me. So disappointing.
Expect fantastic, intuitive service and a welcoming vibe, making your experience here truly enjoyable and worth a repeat visit.

This restaurant came recommended. They did lie. The food was fantastic. The service was superb. We were allowed to choose our table. We were accommodated our gluten free order and vegetarian order.
A little piece of Japan in Monterey Bay. This shop has a ton of authentic Japanese products and food. They have great flavor and vegan and gluten free options. The service was really good and everyone was really nice and patient in explaining the menu. I would definently come here again.
Packed with flavor and generous portions, this spot is perfect for a quick, satisfying meal on the go!

Great portions and tasty bowls! 🍲 We grabbed lunch to go on the way out of town and gobbled it up! Recommend the California Bowl or the Ahi Da’Kahine Bowl! Perfect for my gluten free, dairy free friends!
This spot reinvents the superfood bowl experience with customizable options, unique toppings, and a fun order system on a giant iPad.

The smoothie bowls are fantastic - what a wonderful idea to add chia pudding and with yogurt 😋 Really appreciated their savory bowls as well, and their friendly service. Nearly everything is gluten free. Just wish the place were bigger but I ate there twice anyway and had a good time.
I have been in search of a spot hear in Monterey that offers a gluten free treat. East Village did not disappoint! Their Morning Glory Loaf was just what I had hoped for, and the staff was warm, welcoming and patient with my questions about ingredients.
The location is great and the views of wildlife from the windows was very entertaining. Service was also fantastic.
Food was pretty mediocre and not worth the prices. One of the dishes we ordered was the seafood Alfredo with their gluten free pasta. The gluten free pasta completely broke apart into tiny pieces, which they charged an extra $6 for. The scallops were off—either bad or way overcooked and we didn’t eat any of them. We told the staff, but they didn’t acknowledge it, take anything off our bill or at the least apologize.
We also ordered a cheeseburger for my daughter, who took a few bites and said it wasn’t very good and wouldn’t eat more.
If you are gluten free, I would not eat here despite the gf options. I ordered the gf pasta aglio e olio and my friend ordered the same dish regular (non-gf). My dish came out with about 1/3 to 1/2 the amount of food as hers. When we asked the waiter, he said that the chef does it all by weight and there was no mistake. For $30, it was an absolutely unacceptable amount of food. Even the server acknowledged it was a very small portion but there was nothing he or anyone could do other than for me to order more food at full cost. I make gf pasta at home, and it couldn’t have been more than a third of a box of pasta at most. They don’t upcharge for their gf pasta, but I would much rather a $5 or some upcharge and get a normal amount of food than be told I have to order another $30 dish to get a comparable amount of food as non-gluten free diners.

Stopped here on our way north along the coast, and it did not disappoint! First of all, the service was excellent, as our server Salome took my girlfriends severe gluten allergy to extreme care and made sure nothing that was prepared for us came into contact with gluten. Outstanding! The burrata was prepared with seasonal tomatoes, and as a tomato lover, I was left wanting more. The paella was cooked perfectly, just the right amount of char on the bottom, added the perfect texture. Highly recommend checking this place out!
This Bistro has an awesome atmosphere. Danny help me pick out some options for a gluten free I have to follow. The Dungeones crab legs. We sat at a window seat. We were in Monterey for our honeymoon. This was our first choice reastrant and will always be the only one we will visit. Thanks Again Danny
