Cozy environment, great food and good service. We had a fulfilling lunch which included Tamarind noodles (chicken), chicken robata, salmon rolls, Yakitori Don with Jasmine tea on the side. Food was tasty and the portion size was appropriate. We will go back there again. I don’t believe they serve alcohol but that is fine. Great gluten free options. This is a gem of a place. You will not be disappointed.
With a chill vibe and both café and wait staff seating, this spot is perfect for sipping unique drinks and enjoying delightful offerings.

Cupitol is a must whenever I am visiting the area. I love how they offer wait staff if you want service, or cafe style seating if you choose. The breakfast sandwiches have a gluten free option and the matcha is pure perfection.
A cozy spot with a vibrant vibe, excellent coffee, and cute merch, but be ready to share tables and maybe wait in line!

Best gluten free donut I have had in the 9 years I have been gluten free. A little crispy on the outside but super soft on the inside. Also had the gluten free bread with a breakfast sandwich which was also quite tasty. Coffee was good too! Another morning I had a gf cinnamon roll which was also pretty good.
With a stunning renovation, generous portions, and a cozy vibe, this spot is perfect for a casual yet satisfying dining experience.

We recently returned to the area and the first restaurant we wanted to visit was Kabul House. Still has excellent food, HUGE portions, and the renovated space is beautiful! Our waiter was very attentive and food arrived quickly. Kabobs are excellent - our favorite, Kadu, (stewed pumpkin) is now available as an entree. Several options available for gluten free and vegetarian diners. Open for lunch and dinner - ample parking on the side of the building.
This spot is a fun hangout with a dog-friendly patio, delicious drinks, and fair prices on sizable portions that keep everyone satisfied.

My server was Audra if I’m not mistaken , she was a sweetheart and gave great recommendations. It was my boyfriend and I first time there and we will definitely be coming back the grapefruit margaritas were delicious & so was the food ! They had gluten free buns & options! I was also able to bring my fur baby ( puppy ) to eat with me in their outside area . Dog friendly & gluten free ☺️
Tender rib tips with minimal gristle, unique southern sides, and a clean, picnic-style vibe make for a fresh dining experience, though prices can be high.

Excellent, meaty, tender rib tips. Sauce ison the side, which is a plus in my book. Also worth noting, the pound I ordered did not have a lot of cartilage and gristle. This does not come with bread like it many other places, which is a good thing for me since I am gluten-free (GF).
They do not serve french fries, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Instead, they have many different southern sides, such as mac & cheese and sweet potatoes.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and cheery.
The menu clearly highlights items that are gluten-free for anyone with dietary restrictions.
The interior was under construction at the time of writing this review, but they have a handful of picnic bench-style tables so people can eat while their food is fresh. It was also very clean inside despite the remodeling. A big contrast compared to many places I have been to in Chicago’s south and west sides.
The only downside was the price for some items. $6 for a side when you are dining alone for lunch or dinner can be a tad steep.
This spot offers delicious sushi, a diverse grocery aisle with unique finds, and outstanding customer care that exceeds expectations.

Sea Ranch has been one of my favorite sushi places in Evanston for ages. Not only is their sushi delicious and affordable, but the grocery aisle is super comprehensive for the size! It’s so nice to be able to grab curry mix, Japanese teas, and even onigiri so close to my home.
The main reason I am writing this review is because I was so blown away with their customer service on a recent order. My friend was visiting and has severe celiac. I was excited to see how large and comprehensive the gluten free menu was. Not only that, but the staff were so careful to package the GF items separately as I requested. They even included GF soy sauce which we didn’t request! It’s so nice to see a place you already love go above and beyond. Thank you so much Sea Ranch!
They have gluten free buns great alternative, would have given 5 stars but high chance of cross contamination with the fries sharing the same deep fryer as gluten based goods..
First time here today, meeting colleagues at 4 pm. Appears roomier than Einstein's bagels down the street...just ordered a large iced Americano...superb, smooth, not bitter. I'll be back...parking a little tight as usual for this area, but worth the hassle to be able to eat vegan and vegetarian or gluten free
Experience a spot where allergy notes are prioritized, making it a thoughtful choice for diners who need that extra care.

I love the food, everything I’ve tried has been very tasty. A close friend of mine is visiting and is very intolerant of gluten, this is one of the few restaurants that’s taken the care to make sure her food is safe and she was able to enjoy her dinner without getting sick. I especially like that they highlighted the allergy notes on the ticket. I wasn’t able to get ahold of them on the phone to ask about allergies but I was able to use the chat feature on their Google listing which was quick and easy!
