I have been a loyal customer of Nancy Chang’s for years, but today’s experience on Christmas Day was beyond disappointing. They were offering a buffet, but there were no sugar-free or gluten-free options, which meant my diabetic grandfather and gluten-free father couldn’t safely eat from the buffet. While we were fine with them ordering from the regular menu, the manager refused to let the rest of us (a group of seven) get the buffet if even one person ordered separately. This lack of flexibility and accommodation was shocking.
The manager’s attitude made everything worse. She was incredibly rude, dismissive, and even made inappropriate comments about my grandfather after we explained he has Alzheimer’s. She showed no empathy and instead complained about being stuck at work. Her behavior was unprofessional and ruined what should have been a special holiday experience for our family.
We felt we had no choice but to leave the restaurant without eating. We left feeling frustrated and disrespected. As long-time customers, we expected much better. This experience has made it clear we won’t be returning. I strongly discourage anyone with dietary restrictions or special needs from dining here—you won’t find any understanding or accommodation.
A cozy spot with a unique vibe, exceptional coffees, and a diverse menu that keeps the college crowd coming back for more.

Root and Press never disappoints.
All their food is so delicious! I was ordering with my best friend who has Celiac’s and she swears by Root and Press because she’s always successful in finding something delicious!
I like the new location a lot, how they separated the book room from the dining room. I feel like there’s much more room to peruse. I had the sun dried tomato pesto pasta and the portion was awesome and it was hot and delicious. Recommended highly if you want a cute little spot for a delicious meal and a book to read.
Cozy vibes, hearty portions, and a menu packed with unique flavors make this spot a must-visit for your next night out!

The staff were friendly and understood my requests related to Gluten Free options. My husband loved the Shepherd's Pie. I was very happy with the Irish Pizza appetizer.
Step into a vibrant, welcoming space where creative dishes and stunning presentations promise an unforgettable dining experience.

This small business restaurant is such a gem! Came in with a vegan diet and gluten allergy and they had options! If you're on a keto diet, they also have options for you too! Very allergy friendly and the food was DELICIOUS!!! 10/10 highly recommend! We will be back!
Charming and cozy spot with a delightful vegan menu; you'll want to come back again once you try the tasty offerings!

Authentic and tiny. The owner was so sweet and the place is so cute. Am not personally gluten fee or vegan, but really appreciated the dedicated vegan menu and the GF labeling. Will definitely be returning. No pictures because the food was gone so fast.
A beloved local coffeehouse shows great community spirit by opening early for fitness groups and is known for its delicious matcha lattes and treats.

This is one of my favorite coffeehouses in Worcester!! They are so kind to open 1 hour early for us on Wednesday mornings, for our fitness group (November Project). We love them and their support of us! Their matcha lattes and vegan/gluten free cookies are VERY good, as well.
My absolute favorite restaurant! I’m allergic to soy and gluten, and the pad Thai has neither of those and it’s so incredibly delicious, I recommend this restaurant to everyone !!
A cozy spot with limited seating offering an awesome breakfast and dessert selection that leaves everyone feeling satisfied and happy.

Loved this place!! Everything I got to try before this gluten thing showed up was delicious!! My favorite was the French toast breakfast sandwich. I recommend taking the hash browns out and eating them separate from the rest of the sandwich. I'll have to comb the menu to see if there's anything I can eat there now, but, my not being able to enjoy it doesn't mean you shouldn't go have some.
A laid-back spot with a comfy seating area and delicious, fresh acai bowls that keep everyone coming back for more.

Staff was friendly and very gluten allergy conscious and they discussed their menu in detail and made sure I was comfortable with all the options. I got an acai bowl and it was delicious. Their fruit was fresh. Very nice seating area as well.
What a outstanding restaurant everything is made from scratch and they will customize your meal if you have a gluten allergy or any kind of other thing that you're looking for that's not on the menu it's a true dining out experience expect to be there for a couple hours but it's worth it!!
Cute little laid-back vibe and love the sauces. I am a big fan of sauces BTW. Visited multiple times while I was in town for business. The owners are great. We ordered the pizza and falafel (which was GLUTEN FREE BTW), and broccoli and cheese bites...they also had a fantastic flavored ginger ale selection. Great place to go relax and enjoy the downtown Worcester vibe in the afternoon. Cool art mural on the side of the building of the local radio station WCUW 91.3FM.
