We stayed at the Coast Lethbridge Hotel and ate breakfast twice and supper once at the Firestone Restaurant which is located in the hotel. We were treated to an amazing menu with several delicious food options. Additionally, my friend has Celiac disease and was pleasantly surprised to have a full menu just for her own dietary needs. All of the waitstaff were excellent however, I would like to bring specific attention to Megan who was extra efficient and friendly. If in Lethbridge, do check out this gem of a restaurant.
Known for its delicious unique dishes and highly praised bubble tea, this spot is a must-visit for a great dining experience!

Severe gluten allergy. They have clearly labeled GF items and a dedicated fryer. Highly recommend. Delicious.
EDIT: it was so good I went again today. Just as delicious. No symptoms from gluten at all from my meal yesterday. 10/10 recommend if you have a gluten allergy.
Had our grandsons in for supper today, the are celiac so the had hotdogs in a bowel with toppings on the side, they were grilled, split and juicy, both boys loved it a lot, I was impressed with the attention to care they had in even changing their gloves before handing their food because of their gluten allergy, myself and my wife had bacon cheese burgers and they were extremely fresh and tasty not to mention very filling and last but not least, the fries, perfectly cooked and perfectly salted, I just wish I had ordered a milkshake, well there's always a next time and there sure will be a next time, keep up the good work young ladies and gents, you give great service.
Known for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse menu, this spot impresses with top-notch plant-based options that keep guests coming back for more.

Very few gluten free options
Had a cobb salad for $18 and it was a very small portion. It had a bit of lettuce, 1 egg, not even 1/4 of an avocado and a few bacon bits. The size was what a starter used to be.
Homemade goodness shines here with quick service and perfectly seasoned dishes, plus grab-and-go items for your cravings later!

Tried out this great little diner and absolutely loved it! We didn’t wait long for food and it was delish! My hubby had a sub sandwich and I had a breakfast hash. The gluten free bread I had with it was impressively good and the cinnamon spread is divine! It’s clear that it’s all homemade, even their salad dressings and sauces, which makes it so much better! Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. Definitely going back again! They also have things you can buy and take home, which we did!
A vibrant spot with delightful choices, welcoming energy, and standout service that adds a fresh twist to dining in Lethbridge.

I ordered the lobster rolls through door dash and was astounded by how bad they were. For starters they were cut maybe 3 centimetres in with a tiny amount of coleslaw and lobster filling that had all fallen out — maybe due to a delivery issue but probably because they were so poorly assembled. I’m gluten free so I will almost always give grace on sandwiches and such for that but aside from the horrific preparation the bread was noticeably stale. Along with that the filling after I finished cutting the bread and filling the rolls was comparable to what I would expect from tuna out of a can. The rolls as a whole were so dry I couldn’t finish more than one. If you’re looking to spend 40$-50$ a plate for tiny portions and stale food then this is the place for you. Otherwise spend your money elsewhere
Experience a classy, romantic vibe with a welcoming atmosphere that promises a fantastic experience every visit.

I love going to the keg in Lethbridge! It's clean and welcoming with a very classy romantic kind of ambience. Great atmosphere.
Its good food not cheap food, and the price reflects that. If your looking for a bargain this is not your stop.
My son is celiac and there's a ton he can eat there. Our server was very conscientious of the allergy at our table so I felt relaxed and knew he was being taken care of properly. We regularly eat here, because it's a fantastic experience every time.
What a hidden gem. Once you try mucho burrito it will be hard to go back to your old mexican restaurant. The ingredients taste fresh, alot of customization but no bad options, well educated and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. On top of that they have been able to accommodate my wifes gluten allergy and egg allergy with no complications or headaches.
I reccomend this to anyone wants a tasty Mexican dining experience.
Edit: down to 3 stars as everytime I've gone there in the last couple months I've received a drastically smaller portion size with my bowls. Specifically i ordered a burrito bowl and a burrito, and even though the burrito is cheaper the burrito gets alot more toppings inside then the burrito bowl that costs more. And the bowls seem to have people being more and more skimpy on toppings each time I come.
Edit#2: down to 1 star. I again got burrito bowls today. This is the smallest portion I've ever been given. I was told we should recieve the equivilant of the "mucho" sized burrito. I was given 1 small scoop of everything. Starting with the rice and beans. I also had to inform the employee that with a gluten allergy she will need to change her gloves, which I've never dealt with in the past.
Meantime I watched the customer before me who ordered a burrito get multiple scoops of each item to fill his burrito. I'm paying more, to not get a tortilla. I love the food, but there needs to be better training in place. *photo added for reference*

Taco Del Mar is one of the few places that is still affordable to eat at. I often want to just eat something simple and cheap for around $10-$15 maximum rather than go to some other restaurant and spend like $25. It's a place that I can eat as often as I want at without any worries, and I do eat quite a bit!
There are so many things to appreciate about their food. It's simple, healthy, not greasy, and I have never had any upset stomach problems. Ever since I became allergic to milk it's been hard to find a place to eat, but I can always come here and leave without gut-wrenching pain no problem. I can even come with my family members who have gluten intolerance. It's super hard to think of places to eat that offer both dairy free and gluten free options that are affordable and taste okay!
Their fresh guacamole that they make at the restaurant is my favourite.
The staff are all really nice and if anything is ever wrong I let them know politely and it gets fixed.
Known for its cozy vibe and a tempting selection of desserts, this spot is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth.

**UPDATE: Management reached out to me to acknowledge my disappointment and I received a gift card to return. I am happy to say the second chance was much better. Server was very helpful and even caught a potential allergen in my food choice. I had the hamburger with a gluten free bun and I ate the whole bun. Usually it is a hit or miss with gf bread type foods but I enjoyed this one. Happy we gave them a second chance!**
Server was ok. The salt and pepper wings tasted like vinegar and were so dry I couldn’t finish the plate. Would not recommend them
A local gem for quick, tasty bites without breaking the bank, plus awesome loyalty programs to keep costs even lower.

Getting to Expensive you are rated 0
I was charged 3.00 dollars for no bun because I'm Gluten-free
I had to pay for my hot dog plus the 3 dollars that's a rip off plus no caution was used or care with my allergies will not be returning
My brother and I were truly disappointed in how the food industry does mot take into consideration of people with allergies it's so sad
Good amount of gluten free options for the other celiacs out there. Good food, pretty decent price. Too bad they have a shared cross contaminated fryer - that would be five stars.
Passionate folks serve up delicious dishes, with quick service and plenty of choices, making it a must-visit for food lovers.

I recently visited Chopped Leaf, and I have to say, I was really impressed. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, perfect for a quick, yet enjoyable meal. I opted for a custom bowl and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of fresh ingredients to choose from. The staff was friendly and helped me put together a delicious combination of greens, protein, and toppings.
The quality of the ingredients was top-notch – everything tasted super fresh, and you could tell that they use high-quality produce. The grilled chicken was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the dressing was just the right amount of flavorful without being overpowering.
What I really appreciate about Chopped Leaf is how customizable the menu is. You can create your own bowl or salad with all sorts of fresh ingredients, and they even offer great vegan and gluten-free options. It’s a fantastic choice for anyone with dietary preferences or restrictions.

This experience was very disappointing. I went with friends. I used to love the food and was really looking forward to this. It has been years since I was here. It was Joeys only. The restaurant was clean and inviting. We were greeted. It was a bit of a longer wait to receive our food but not bad. I only seen one Chef and they had other orders. He was doing what he could. Upon ordering, there was a gluten free fish order. It came out on a separate, lets call it "platter", along with the reg battered fish. It was brought to my attention and said to take it back and fix it please. I suggested to redo it as arts of yhe meal would get cold. His wife said she would take it so they have it to her instead and didnt fix their mistake. He ended up eating a reg fish which didnt compute why they would order a special meal. The presentation wasnt up to par. It was served on a small cookie sheet with brown parchment to line it. The fish was dry. I tried the indian infused batter. It was bland. The Mango pickle tarter sauce was inedible. I wont be back

When I called to see if they had any gluten-free options, I was sold at "all of our meats and hollandaise are gluten-free. Although
We had different bennies with their mennonite sausage, wow, what a bountiful and flavorful meal!
Our server was amazing and super friendly. She even remembered our preferences from the previous day. The service was prompt, the restaurant was very nice, comfortable booth, clean and efficient.
We will definitely be back. Thank you for making our day!
A year later, we've come back. Still gf and just as delicious! Thank you!
