Amazing food, great service. Highly recommended especially for gluten free options. My vegan friend was also very happy to see something other than a vegan burger on the menu! Highly recommend the fish pie. So tasty and the fish was plentiful!

Really great cafe for gluten free options. I’m not 100% sure where the name came from as there really wasn’t many books? But overall the atmosphere was quirky and cosy. I ordered the bhaji sandwich on the online ordering option. There was no option to make it gluten free apart from the notes section but the waitress was happy to swap it and it came out with a GF bun, the food itself was really tasty

Quiet on a Thursday night. Nice service. No gluten free ale on tap and just 1 can in the fridge which my husband had. That was disappointing. But hopefully they will restock. Still like the pub.

Usually I would comment on just the food, but on this visit I would like to give massive praise to Eden who was waiting for the 1st time and totally smashed it there's nothing more he could of done for us he went over and over and above with a fun and friendly attitude. Even stayed after his shift had finished to complete our journey. Also dealt well with order of gluten free and vegetarian. A great 40th birthday meal. I hope to be served again soon by this lovely young man

Had been for dinner with family with one of us being gluten free, the food was bit of a hit and miss. The gluten free main course was a pasta dish chosen from the set menu , the pasta was a bit undercooked and didn't really gel with the sauce in which it was cooked. I had the chicken milanese which was essentially a breaded slice of chicken with tomatoes on the side and bowl of salad with cheese , the chicken was too crispy and dry, didn't really enjoy it and wouldn't recommend . The dishes which I liked were the mushroom soup which was really good and the tiramisu dessert. We went on a Tuesday so essentially the restaurant was deserted being mid week , probably would have had a better vibe on the weekend.

Fantastic place! Dog friendly and lots of vegan and gluten free options! I don't personally drink coffee but my boyfriend said it was really nice. The nicest hashbrowns I have ever eaten!

Quick service at the bar, and the waitress service is excellent the food is well cooked with a few gluten free options. Ample parking and also a large separate function room for private events . One way it could be improved by having a couple of real ales on draught. A very good pub....

Really great place with fantastic, well priced menu. Something for everybody, including gluten free options. Suited 2 teenagers, spoilt for choice. Great offers on products. Option to order on the app. Service was really fast & very friendly. Food tasty and piping hot. 5* all the way!!

The best restaurant in derby. So great to have a restaurant with a wide variety of healthy delicious meals. There are so many vegan and gluten-free options. We love being able to choose the size of our bowl (which means the kids can have the right size for them) and then choose from proteins, hot options, sides and the massive salad bar. We highly recommend their falafel, potato wedges and coleslaw. We will be going many more times! Service is quick and everyone’s really friendly.

13/08/24- im guessing he was a manager who served us for food at bottomless, I didn’t catch his name. He catered for my Celiac disease. He was incredible and told me the food was made in a separate fryer and he said he made sure the staff cleaned the kitchen , which made me feel so at ease. Need more servers like him! Thank you:)

Really enjoyed my time there, i always do! The food was great, we got a big sharing platter which had a great selection. Some improvements could be to provide a gluten free alternative to the bread at the start of the meal, and the pina colada drink i had was very watered down, needs improving! Will definitely come again, the man who runs the desk was very kind!

Always love the subs from Subway. Really easy to get a delicious gluten free sandwich and the people are always very friendly and even change their gloves when they make the gluten free sandwiches. Very nice 👍

First visit here and definitely won't be our last! Lovely, quiet, relaxing vibe with gentle piano music playing in the background. Gorgeous food, takes a while to arrive but that's because everything is freshly cooked to order. Oodles of choice on the menu, really didn't know what to have so will have to go back to try other options! Lots of veggie and vegan options and several meals are gluten free. Try the Thai pancakes for dessert, just completely delicious.

Had an 80th birthday party at Italian Cucina in July 2023, the restaurant was beautifully decorated and the food was perfect. The food was so amazing that we decided to use them for a home catering family event which was very short notice, Manju and the team were incredibly accommodating to dietary requirements including gluten intolerances. The food arrived hot, on time and was a mix of mixed grill, Indian curries and pizza. All of the guests commented on how amazing the food was. A wonderful hidden gem of a cafe/bar. Licensed, is only open until mid afternoon most days. The food is freshly prepared, with Gluten free, Vegan options. Worth seeking out as is hidden on a small industrial estate. Superb coffee and friendly staff. If you are served by Esme you will be well looked after. Enjoy. M

This was the first time I’ve eaten at Nico’s and it was excellent. I am vegetarian and gluten intolerant and that was mentioned when booking. The chef had tasty gluten free baguette and made me my own gluten vegetarian lasagne and it was amazing and off the menu. I could not believe how much effort was put in for my own requirements and I was so pleased. The service was also great and very reasonably priced. Although I am not coeliac I believe that they would be good with cross contamination also. Everything was fresh and very tasty- highly recommended.
