Nice place to eat, clearly labelled vegan and or vegetarian and or gluten free foods. Good enough standard. The cauliflower wings were sold out, so too were the cashew nuts. Took 40 mins to receive our food after our 2 pm booking and food order. Seems like a nice place to go for afternoon tea?

Really friendly service and well-looked after by Keesha. She dealt with my gluten allergy and recommended dishes. The summer menu is delicious and loved the burnt Basque cheesecake. I know I can always rely on Waggas to deliver tasty gluten-free food and l really enjoyed the North Atlantis G.F. IPA.

Our first visit and my daughter who has autism was shown to a quieter part of the restaurant by the lovely Abbie and made to feel valued as a customer. We were looked after really well and Abbie even refilled our drinks for us as my daughter would have struggled in front of other customers. The pizza we chose was a make your own option and was absolutely delicious! First time at Kala and it was superb! Plenty of gluten free options for coeliacs and the quality and taste of the food was amazing. The atmosphere and service was great, our server was coeliac too so very knowledgeable about gluten free options and recommendations. The bill wasn’t cheap but then again it was a treat including a lush bottle of wine, but worth every penny. We’re regulars at Kala’s sister restaurant Hispi in Didsbury, but I have to say Kala really upped its game and both me and my husband thought the food was tastier and might make it a new regular even though it’s further away from where we live!
