Asked for gluten free pizza. 2 different times the same waitress took care us both times. When pizza arrived it was regular crust. I than had to wait fir another pizza and it came out soggy.

Highly recommend!! We enjoyed our time there. The food is AMAZING with fresh ingredients, flavorful and so many options. Reasonably priced for location and highly quality. The yucca bits are like clouds in your mouth. We loved the lentil burger and the nachos. Make sure you get their craft soda to wash down all the goodness. They even have sweet treats that are vegan and gluten free. The service was the best ! Friendly staff. We will definitely be back. THANK YOU Dark and Light Cafe.

Wonderful food delicious food exquisite A++++ service. Went for lunch and then again for dinner . Crab bisque is to sie for . Onion soup was interesting. Great presentation good flavor . Our party of 5 showed up for an early dinner. We were accommodated quickly without a reservation. Our server (CJ - I believe) provided excellent service. When asked about gluten free options, he consulted the chef, who wrote on the menu which options were already GF and how he could make the other options gf. They were so efficient and gracious. When we ordered the Parker House Rolls appetizer- he informed us it was an order of 3, but the kitchen added an extra so the 4 of us eating the bread could all have one. So thoughtful! The sangria was delicious! 2of us enjoyed the gumbo - it was so good! 10/10! The flavors are just right! So tasty but not too spicy. The duck breast schnitzel was perfectly cooked with delicious sides. The pork ribeye was tender and tasty and was so thick! The pork belly was 10/10 with the sides of confit potatoes and creamed collards offsetting the meat - just so! I got the feeling based on our experience, and it was my first experience, but not the first visit for some in our group that no matter what you get at 1921, you will not be disappointed. It was a special dinner that we are still talking about! I can’t wait to go back on my next visit!
