We have seen this place on our travels and always say we should go in. Tonight, we decided to. We got there at 6:50pm. First off, what kind of dining establishment closes at 8pm? We walk inside and nobody is there to greet us. Fortunately, they have a gong. I don't think it is there to summon the wait staff but did that stop us? No, definitely not. The host/restaurant manager showed up promptly. Asked us if we needed a weak constitution (vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free) menu. We did not. We were escorted back to our both. It was dark and minimalist. I expected it to be more "exotic" being a Global Restaurant. The walls were mostly bare with a couple French looking paintings. We were given our menus and told that our waitress would be right with us. Water was promptly served and then began the wait. We had to wait a good 15 minutes in an almost empty restaurant before someone came close enough to flag down. Ordered a stuffed mushroom appetizer, a bottle of Savengion Blanc and a couple entrees. While we waited, I overheard someone at a neighorimg table say they had never seen Back to the Future.(I don't believe you.) Eggplant Parm and Mushrooms were great. The French Steak was not to my wife's liking. The wine was great, thank New Zealand. Overall, I'm glad we went but after spending $120, I don't think I would go again.

This restaurant has options for everyone in the family including numerous gluten free options. Their gluten free options are very good. Their staff are all very friendly and attentive.

This place is absolutely delicious! The focus of their menu is plant-based first, and then there are some non plant-based options that you can add, like a real beef patty, salmon, and a couple of other things. For a place that you just order up at the counter, the menu is quite extensive, including an entirely separate gluten-free menu, which is extensive as well. Everything is made fresh, and the portion sizes are big. I highly recommend the tempeh bacon on anything and the red curry fries. They also have a wider array of non-alcoholic beverages as well as beer, wine, and coffee. And there is a large outdoor covered patio that also has lights for at night time. All in all, it's a great place for the plant-based and non plant-based alike!

The restaurant is well marked and easy to find. It it located in the historic Chapman building. It features a bar and dining area. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable. The seating is OK. The acoustics are not that great, and it can be difficult to have conversations. I enjoyed the Jessica burger with fries. The staff takes allergies seriously and accommodated my needs, being gluten-free and dairy-free. Parking can be challenging, especially on the weekends. Parking is free but limited to three hours.

I was driving thru to Portland and decided to stop here! I had their avocado toast, Chai tea latte, matcha latte, mocha, and gluten free brownie. The vibe is great, nice staff. I will say however the avocado toast was not a favorite because the avocado on my toast is harder than my toast. In fact, as I wrote my review, I can see another table ordered Avocado Toast, they left and guess what's still on the plate? The avocado is still on the toast. The batista was kind and asked if I wanted to exchange for something else, which I did and I'm grateful for. But, if you're serving avocado toast, and avocado is the main ingredient, please make sure the avocado is prepared well, ripe and delicious. I absolutely would come here again for the Mocha latte, SO GOOD!

We came in and I accidentally ordered regular crepes when they should’ve been gluten free due to allergy. They were so kind and accommodating and made all new crepes. Thank you French Press Staff. As always, the crepes and coffee is always good!!!

Pretty darn good. Found them while searching online for gluten-free, friendly restaurants in town. It's a little pricey, but the food is delicious and a little different for Salem. Lots of drink choices.

Their gluten free pancakes were delicious, the bacon as well. They need to offer it with other items like they do with their regular pancakes, not just gluten free pancakes.

The staff is friendly and attentive. Pleasant atmosphere. Food is great, though gluten free options are limited. Main dining, bar, patio are, and banquet room have always been clean and maintained. Great place for meeting with friends and catching up.

The food at this establishment is actually really good. The worst part is the manager. My family and I came in with a large party. The manger was beyond rude. They served my mother who has celiacs disease regular pasta she ate half of it before she realized. We asked for dessert menus and the manager came up and took our order and then she started to "clean" our table. She was bashing objects around. As she was "cleaning" she have the dirtiest look to my 2-year-old nephew. They charged us for the pastas even though they basically poisoned my mother. I called them and asked why they wouldn't comp the meal because of their mistake. The manager accused us of walking out on the bill which we did not do. The waitress accidently forgot to run our card. The whole experience was bad, and she was very rude.

I have to eat gluten free as I have celiac disease-so the Huli Huli chicken is usually gluten free if I sub the Mac salad for rice/veggies. I ordered that this time and I noticed my last few bites of rice tasted like they had a sauce on them. I lifted up the rice and there was residual Mac salad below the rice. They must have accidentally put Mac and scooped (most) of it out and then out rice over it. Even the smallest bit of gluten makes me sick so I had to throw the rest away and spent the evening sick from being glutened. Not cool. :(

I'm trying to avoid gluten and afraid of eating out. It was so wonderful to see several great choices on the menu clearly marked. A lovely experience, and very good coffee too! Our server was terrific. Prices were very affordable and everything was spotless. I look forward to coming again

I enjoy visiting here. The food truck options are pretty good. I wish there were more options for people with Celiac disease as that limits my options quite a bit. My favorite food truck there is the Thai food and I've never gotten cross-contaminated there, which is a huge bonus. As someone who wears hearing aids and uses assistive technology to understand conversations, I've found with every visit the extremely loud music to be a hindrance to understanding conversations. It would be nice if they had hours where the sensory overload from their loud music could be reduced or eliminated for an hour or two so neurodivergent, autistic, and others with sensory overwhelm could enjoy a peaceful place to eat with friends. This can be avoided in warmer weather when seated outside. Other than that, I'd highly recommend The Yard Food Park.

They catered a wedding I attended and it was THE BEST wedding food I've ever had. BBQ ribs, coleslaw, salad, cupcakes - all exceptionally tasty and all allergens were noted which was very helpful for me being celiac. Cannot recommend strongly enough!

The Korean spin on Philly cheesesteak was incredible and deeply satisfying. Bulgogi beef was delicious as the cheesesteak meat. They get bonus points for offering a Gluten Free wrap. I was hesitant to try the meal but honestly I like it a lot better than traditional cheesesteak sandwiches and being able to enjoy it GF style was a huge win. I would totally eat this again next time I’m in town.

I will often visit Res Robin on the way home from work. I'll call in the order in advance, and pick up in person. We love their gluten free fries & burgers. As far as hamburgers go they make a great burger in Salem. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and the atmosphere is chill. I had a complaint about an order and I submitted it to corporate and they instantly made it right. I really appreciated it

Just the facts

The layered gluten-free chocolate cake they used to serve was so good, we all miss it. The flourless chocolate cake can't begin to take it's place. Please bring back the layered cake and instruct staff to use a clean knife to avoid gluten cross contamination.

A lovely Salem treasure. Patty's was a delightful space with wonderful staff. They were polite, accommodating, and quick. The food was also fantastic. I can definitely say that they have some of the best gluten free pancakes in town!

My 7 year old daughter has a gluten food restriction and they were so kind and helpful finding a meal that fit both her wants and dietary restrictions. Our server was taitum. And she did a great job! I am unsure if this is celiac safe so I don't want to mislead anyone, but I felt they put alot of care and effort in. And mainly wanted to share this menu that they provided for gluten free options and how to navigate their menu with a gluten restriction.

Summary of visit: Undercooked pasta, long wait time, and too small of portion I don't feel the food is worth the cost. Mind you, I do not mind paying if the food is good! We came in around 3:10 on a Saturday afternoon. Our food was served almost exactly at 4pm. I got spaghetti with meat sauce, along with gluten free noodles. My wife got a chicken pasta dish, also with gluten free noodles. First off, it took over 30 minutes to get the dishes. I don't think pasta should take that long. I cook gluten free spaghetti noodles all the time, it only takes about eight to ten minutes. After waiting 30 minutes, the pasta actually was STILL not fully cooked and was quite el'dente. Very firm. Edible but not entirely enjoyable. Noodles are easy to cook guys! It's literally eight or so minutes required. I don't know what they were doing for 30 minutes the restaurant had barely any customers in it at the time. The meat sauce was ok but even while hot, I could tell it was quite sour. Not bad enough to avoid eating but not how I normally like. Once I got my leftover spaghetti in my fridge at home and then later tasted it after it got cold, the sauce was starting to taste a lot like stomach acid. This shows the sauce was a bit too acidic and tomato in my opinion. It needs something to balance out the acidity. Typically when I make homemade spaghetti it's still delicious even when refrigerator cold. My wifes dish was also undercooked pasta but the most annoying thing was the small portion they gave her. She said she had been to this restaurant twice before and the portion she got tonight was about half the size of previous visits. She literally had no extra to take home, while I did! Her dish was $23! When they brought the dish out I was surprised at how small the portion was. I don't think I was impressed at all and probably would not bother going back. Salem is really lacking in Italian food. Our meals cost $60 total with tip! Not worth it for the quality or amount of food we got. Positives: The Focaccia bread was light, airy, and tasty. A highlight. We had the minestrone soup, it was very good, and piping hot , perfect. I don't know if they make that soup in house but it was great. The service was excellent our waitress kept everything in mind and was great. The food was disappointing.

Amazing little hole in the wall, and as someone with Celiacs, it's one of the few places in Salem I feel safe to eat. Specify gluten free and they can make any dish for you!

This place is the only place like it in Salem!! First thing I saw when I entered was the pizza oven and I knew right away that I would be getting quality pizza! And did I ever, you get to build your own personal pizza so be prepared you will need to let then know exactly what you want on your pizza so you will have to make those kinds of decisions on the spot! The price is perfect they aren't out to gouge people. I did expect the MOD crust to be a little thicker so next time I will do the double crust. They are so friendly and faster. My pizza was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing I just wish I had tried the house wine but all the more reason to go back! Oh and they do have none gluten crust and none dairy cheese for all those that are avoiding those things.

Allie is so rad and I love the theme of their little dino burger place! They have gluten free buns and vegan beyond burger patties offered as well. I wish there was vegan cheese but this place is fairly new in the first place so I was pleasantly suprised they had gluten free and vegan options as a new restuarant. Looking forward to coming here again. Thank you for recommending this place to me Allie! :-) so fun and my gf and I love dinos!!

We were completely wowed by our experience here . They were abled to accommodate my Gluten Free needs. Everything was so flavorful. We will definitely be back here to explore more of the great Flavors Nagoya has to offer. Both plates are the Nagoya Special with one being scallops and the other Shrimp. We tried the live oysters and were not disappointed in both presentation and flavor.

Love this place. Our new go-to Indian restaurant. The food is so good and the employees are very nice. We were able to find convenient parking both times. My only complaint is that the food is all in to-go containers but the quality of the food makes it worth it (hence the 5 stars). I'm celiac and they were knowledgeable about gluten free dishes even though they aren't specifically identified on the menu, they also have many vegetarian dishes. Absolutely loved the biryani with the mint yoghurt sauce and the spices are just *chef's kiss*. Will absolutely be back. Thank you!

Rob is not only an awesome chef, he cares about his customers. This Texan transplant thanks you for one of the best burgers I’ve had. It reminded me of my favorite burger at a restaurant called Storm’s. Even can get gluten free buns and hand cut fries. My neurotypical friends, small menu to chose from is a sigh of relief.

Very nice place, I asked if anything was gluten free and they said the Avalanche Nachos. They cleaned the work area, changed gloves and made a delicious plate of tasty nachos. Enjoyed the small arcade.

So good! Food was incredible and the gluten free bread is honestly the best in Salem. The service was a bit lacking just in the sense of how long it took to get our food. We waited about 30 min, which is not bad for a dinner place, but for a lunch type location where customers will typically only have one hour to spend on lunch, every minute counts. But the wait truly was worth it, the food is even better than it looks!

Food is fantastic because of its simplicity. The Guiness Fried Shrimp is a full basket, not just 6 shrimp on a plate, like in many places. I'm gluten free and highly recommend the Colcannon or the corned beef and cabbage. Both were delicious. The Magners Cider also can't be beat. It's a smaller place, so making a reservation really helps to secure your table. Servers were very friendly and accommodating, and the live music was also a very appreciated added bonus. Highly recommend!

This place is a gem. Lots of interesting dishes to try. The chicken pesto with zucchini pasta was surprisingly delicious. I would have preferred a stronger pesto flavor, but I'll still order it again. The shrimp with quinoa and butter basted steak was delicious. Wide variety of gluten free and dairy free options. The cook seemed to be a chef. Well prepared, hand chopped fruits, the chicken and beef were both high quality. Inside the Bee Hive food cart pod. There's plenty of seating most inside a tent.
