a very, very strange place. the food isn't really thai food. it is still kinda good, and i'll bet it's the type of place that has that one great thing on the menu that you have to find. but don't go in expecting actual thai food. the server at the counter was super nice! they can make a lot of things vegan or gluten free.
A community-owned gem with tons of unique options, great atmosphere, and a fantastic cafe that makes waiting totally worth it!

The co-op is one of my favorite places to shop for groceries and other goods. They have a great selection of vegan and gluten-free items. Everyone I've ever interacted with was pleasant and so kind. I love having such a welcoming place to shop that's community-owned!
The Cafe is delicious and has options for everyone. There is sometimes a wait, but its always worth it. A time or two, the staff has helped me with recommendations and they haven't steered me wrong. It's amazing to see so many vegan substitutions!
Bursting with flavor and creativity, this unique spot offers expertly crafted sandwiches and delicious tater tots, perfect for a relaxing treat!

We stopped here on our way back to Milwaukee from Ithaca, based on Google reviews and my gluten free needs. Absolutely sensational sandwiches. This will now be a regular stop when we’re traveling this route. Customer service was also A+++ with the nicest welcome, friendliest overview of the menu, and super reassuring about how they do gluten free. Thank you!!!
Get ready for some seriously amazing pizza that'll impress everyone, even those who aren't gluten-free!

Absolutely the BEST gluten free pizza I've had in 10yrs!!! I was diagnosed with celiac about 10yrs ago and had to say goodbye to Valerios pizza. I would periodically check to see if they added a GF option but for years there were none and I moved on. Out of the blue I decided to check for options and there it was - GF pizza and subs! I had my 1st GF pizza from Valerio's, and it was absolutely awesome! I am extremely sensitive to gluten and had NO reactions from eating the pizza. They are doing a great job. Now I can't wait to try their subs!

I cannot begin to tell you about my amazing experience at The Cork! My students, staff, and I stopped for lunch on our way to Pittsburgh and the staff was beyond accommodating! They had meals prepackaged for those fasting in observance of Ramadan and even created a dedicated, private prayer space. And the chef and manager gave a short presentation about working in hospitality and management. The food was beyond amazing and then curate a menu to fit everyone; vegetarian, halal, and gluten free! I would highly recommend The Cork for a small intimate dinner with a loved one or a large group. Not to mention the staff was SO great with my high schoolers.
With attentive service and a focus on detail, enjoy a family-friendly vibe here, though prices are steep for casual dining and fries are missing.

Our server was so kind and polite, and I was impressed with his attention to detail and care for our table! He frequently checked on us to see if we needed anything, and all orders were correct. He even brought my toddler daughter's food out first so she would be content and happy while we waited.
The food was very good, and they have very nice gluten free options for their burgers, pizza, and sandwiches!
The only reason I am not giving 5 starts is because it was expensive for pub food, and they have no french fries on the menu which was a huge bummer to the whole family.
Stunning views, huge portions, and a relaxing ambiance make this spot a favorite for many, with delicious options and attentive service.

Good experience. Hailee the server was awesome. Tons of gluten free and allergen menu. Amazing view, good decor and ambiance, relaxing. Portions are huge. Would prefer smaller with more quality. Shrimp on flatbread didn’t have any flavor and was a bit tough. Lots of cheese/oil, but nothing bad tasting. Pork was well cooked, tender and juicy.
They don't bread anything, so eating there is safe for people who have to be gluten free. They have a choice of hamburger in a bowl or lettuce wrap. I chose in a bowl. Since nothing is breaded, the delicious french fries are safe to eat. They also serve hot dogs and a veggie burger. I love Five Guys and I'll definitely come back again next time I'm in Erie.

Today was my first time at The Boardroom, and my tastebuds have been blown away. The Happy Hour specials run Monday through Saturday with delicious options at the bar! We tried the cheese curds and won tons and which were bursting with flavor. Our drinks were prepared by Trey, and we couldn’t have enjoyed the layered notes of taste.
Our dinners were beyond our expectations! My husband, who is gluten free, was awestruck by his shrimp Caesar salad which lightly grilled the romaine for a Smokey finish. I had the shrimp gnocchi filled with Asiago and Parmesan in a vodka sauce and roasted tomatoes. Trey recommended two scallops with this dish, and they topped it off! Goodness, it was absolutely exquisite. We will definitely be back!! I’ll be taking people to lunch and dinner at The Boardroom!

My son and I eat here a lot as he has some dietary restrictions. It's so nice to have somewhere we can go out to get food for him that he can have. I also really like that they have some of the harder to find gluten and dairy free options in the grocery.
Expect a mixed bag with a unique vibe; kid-friendly options shine, but some dishes might not be what you expect.

Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Their Gluten free options were good, but my burger looked more like wet cat food pate than a burger. The other food (grilled cheese, Mac and cheese, and Stromboli) were up to par for kids and my partner. All-in-all, not a bad choice, but I would not order the burger again.

The only place in Erie that FULLY accommodates my dietary needs (celiac/dairy free) and makes me feel completely comfortable. Mackenzie is not only an amazing bartender, but she truly puts her heart into all she does. She ensures my food is safe, both putting in the order and the serving of the food/drinks. I have a very difficult time eating/drinking out, but I am a regular at Mad Mex due to both Mackenzie’s kindness and the amazing options provided by Mad Mex.
We wanted a unique experience after the day at the beach. This revitalized train station is great, very good use of the old for the new. We had six in our party and the hostess took our reservation and even moved things around so we could dine at 6 and not 7.
We were greeted as soon as we entered, we sat down, ordered and the food was amazing. You have to try the sampler flights, well worth it. A guest has a gluten allergy and they provided the pork sandwich with no BBQ sauce and a gluten free bun. The guest said it was the beat she has had.
All the dished came out hot and we all enjoyed it all. This is definitely worth adding to your list to try. Great atmosphere, service and food and the prices were very reasonable.

Dina’s is delicious!! The food is easily gluten free and paleo-friendly, which is hard to come by in Erie. I got a salad with half chicken / half pork and delicious sweet plantains 😋 My 1 year old son loved the mangú! Definitely coming back next time I’m in Erie 😊 Very reasonably priced for generous portions.

This place is authentic!!! AMAZING food. I loved it. The one issue I did have was the language barrier. I KNEW that they had gluten free food, because I called ahead-due to my daughter having celiac. When we arrived however, our waiter barely spoke english. The situation did get resolved because a very nice waiter who better understood my concerns was able to assist me with my daughter. I ordered the fajitas!! DELISH!!!!!! And my daughter had the corn tortillas with steak. She didn't trust the corn tortillas (due to them not indicating GF on the menu), however she did eat the steak and did not get sick.
I loved the food, the atmosphere and the service!! Everything was so flavourful. Would definitely go back if I didn't live in Canada! :-)
The poke bowl was delicious, and the staff was knowledgeable about gluten-free options. Family with me enjoyed the ramen. When we are in Erie, we will definitely stop again.
I absolutely LOVED this place. I watched the birth of this establishment on the Discovery Channel TV program Undercover Billionaire. Since my wife and I were in town, we decided to try it out.
When we walked in, we were immediately taken in by the smell of smoke. Something you would smell if you were doing an outside wood fired BBQ.
As we looked at the menu, my wife was concerned about several items on the menu. She has become very gluten sensitive in the last 2 years which has caused her to scrutinize everything she eats. We consulted with the waitress and she was not able to sufficiently answer our questions.
The waitress actually brought the cook from the kitchen (I think it was Ashley) who was able to tell us what was in the food. My wife was able to make a selection that was not only safe for her to eat but was also delicious. (BTW, my meal was great, too!)
Thank you to all the staff at Underdog BBQ and I wish you great success!

My 2 children, my husband and I are on a plant based diet. As we sat, they guided us through their vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options. They also, made some adjustments to make dishes vegan. The flavors were perfect. The yellow lentil Dal Tadka was a hit with my family. The mixed vegetables Pakora were crispy and flavorful. We highly recommend this hole in the wall flavor bursting spot!
Give it a try and leave full and happy!
A fantastic restaurant. All of the food was incredibly flavorful. I greatly enjoyed the cucumber wrapped salad, charcuterie board, and chocolate cake. They had many gluten free options available and were very knowledgeable (celiac's!). My only wish is that I had booked an outdoor table since the view there is so spectacular.
Good variety of menu choices, especially for people who need to be gluten free.
However, the service was quite slow and the waiter not very on top of things and entered an order on an assumption and not what the person ordered.
A cherished gem with a personal touch, offering tailored experiences and delightful flavors that make every visit memorable.

What an amazing jewel in Erie. The food was amazing. The service was top notch too. Best of all, it was safe for Gluten Free dining. Loved this place!!
Needed a quality place for great beer and food after spending hours on the beach. This place is all that and more. CC was our server and took care of us with great service. They accommodated my wife with a gluten free salad and flatbread. We got the cod special, blackened chicken pasta and shrimp tacos and all tasted fresh and very filling. Large selection of beer cans and bottles. This place is a local gem in Erie.

Wonderful environment, killer staff, and great drinks. Alex and Alex are not only the best bartenders but always make you feel like you're surrounded by friends. I have to be gluten free and they have a few options for me. Nikki and Hailey have gone as far as to have seltzers available for me at their festivals. The only thing that I could see making this better would be a gluten free pizza crust. Definitely the best brewery in Erie!

One of our very favorite places! Specialty glittery citrus gin cocktail, Creek's invention, in photo. 😋 Offers some gluten free options and gluten free buns pictured here with French Dip sandwich with au jus. Lately they've been featuring regular specials, like this bone-in pork steak with a great sweet potato veggie combination that is simply delicious, healthy and refreshingly different from the basic bar and grill menus in most places. Creeks has also begun offering dessert options. Mmmm!

JULIUS RESTAURANT - gourmet quality delights! Julio Reyes continues his tradition of the tastiest, most authentic cuisine - this time, a blend of his outstanding, home spun Mexican standards plus recipes from other cultures featuring a new twist on some Erie, PA favorites. His appetizers include easy to eat crispy tortilla discs loaded with a variety of toppings, and the main entrees always generous meat portions accompanied by sides of impeccably prepared rice and vegetables full of natural flavor! We had two appetizers plus the daily special last evening ( the entire meal Gluten Free, as well )and were very satisfied, indeed! Go, find out for yourself! In the classic, restored Maennerchor building on State Street, Erie PA.
They have very little knowledge of their gluten free menu options; I have celiac disease, and I was very open about this when ordering my food. They brought out my burger and the bun looked eerily similar to everyone else's; I questioned it and was reassured by the waitress that it was a gluten free bun. It wasn't. I was sick for days afterward.
The manager assured me that they would train their staff to prevent this from happening again, but once I get sick like this, I don't give the place another chance.

Food is tasty, good quality, and reasonably priced. It's nice that the meals are labeled gluten-free, vegan, etc. Lisa is always polite, friendly, and accommodating. An acquaintance of mine told me that she has friends employed by the Dept. of Health that are regular customers here. Obviously that speaks volumes about the cleanliness, etc.
Hot dishes served quickly and a mix-up warning for specific orders make this spot a reliable choice for a casual dining experience, plus there's tasty Boba tea!

Every time we have eaten here, the food has been hot and served in a timely fashion. Beware: they have gluten free noodles (rice), but this last time we ate there, someone mixed up our order and I ended up with regular noodles. If you are gf like me because of allergies, double-check to make sure your order has been correctly made. We enjoy their Boba teas too.
My favourite and only place I will go for breakfest. Needing gluten free breakfest their very accomdating serving me extra hash browns instead of toast along with eggs the way I like them and extra Bob Evans sausage. Add unlimited coffee and I can stay away. And all the ladies provide excellent attentive service. Five stars from this Canadian.

I LOVED THIS RESTAURANT. I lived in Italy, and know "good" Italian. This is where it's at, folks!
I ordered the beef short ribs and they accommodated my gluten-free pasta request rather than the risotto (I am unable to eat dairy) and it was still DELICIOUS. We got a chocolate cake dessert that was just heavenly as well. We came on a busy Saturday night and was able to sit at the bar because there were no more seats, and it was delightful thanks to the friendly bartender.
We could tell the entire place is well run; the owner is so pleasant and knows a lot of his clients and his entire staff works so efficiently. It's a beautiful atmosphere to dine in, and again, the food was TO DIE FOR. I come to Erie often, and look forward to dining here again.

Amazing food. Our party ordered the steak, cooked perfectly without need of a steak knife, the pork chop, also no need for a steak knife, salmon dinner, salmon salad, stuffed chicken. Everyone raved about their food. I have celiac and strictly Gluten Free. The server although not confident in Gluten Free took all of my questions to chef Justin who most Certainly knows his culinary craft/art. I hope the people of Erie embrace this upscale addition.
If your Gluten Free you have options! From hard cider and spirits to a gluten free bun and more, you can drink and eat gluten free! *if cross contamination is a concern call and ask, I can only speak to gluten free ingredient options.
