We recently visited BJ’s Brewhouse in Murfreesboro with a party of 10. Beforehand, someone in our group was told there’d be no need for reservations—thankfully, I went ahead and made one anyway. That turned out to be a smart move, because we would’ve had a very different experience without it. The restaurant itself was clean and the ambiance was fine—nothing particularly memorable, but comfortable enough. Unfortunately, the service and overall dining experience left a lot to be desired. We waited quite a while before placing our orders, only to find out that one of the restaurant’s top menu items had run out. While that in itself isn’t a big issue, our server failed to mention this ahead of time, which would’ve saved time and hassle. For a party of 10, our orders were straightforward: everyone on separate tickets, one vegan guest, and one with a gluten allergy—both of whom knew exactly what they wanted. Still, the process was sluggish and disorganized. Once the food arrived, several items were missing. We had to repeatedly ask for basics like condiments and drink refills. At one point, my sister was handed an empty A1 bottle and told, “I just shook it up,” which was both frustrating and dismissive. The food came out cold, and when we asked for it to be re-cooked, we waited nearly another hour. Our server was largely absent during this time, and when the manager finally came over, she asked what I wanted them to do to make it right. I really would’ve appreciated a proactive suggestion instead of being asked to come up with the solution myself. At that point, it felt like the entire table needed their food remade, and the gesture of comping a single dessert—a “world famous” cookie—just didn’t make up for everything that had gone wrong. Not to mention, the soap was out in the bathroom—and we saw servers going in and out of there. That made us wonder whether proper handwashing protocols were even being followed, which is a serious concern. I understand restaurants have off days and that large groups can be challenging, but this experience made it clear that BJ’s is struggling to deliver basic service. While I appreciate the clean space and the attempt to make things right, this isn’t a place I’ll be returning to.

Look no further, you have found the place for your next dinner. At Primrose Table, you will find upscale food in a casual environment with a friendly and attentive staff. Nestled in a row of shops, the interior is industrial with a full bar area (including 3 TV’s with sports by request) lightly separated from a sleek but welcoming dining area. The menu is creative and excellently executed, and the prices are reasonable. We started with the hummus and had the salmon and fried fish for entrees with a side of coconut creamed kale. The fish tasted fresh and was cooked quite delicately, and the kale was amazing. Everything is marked if it is dairy-free, gluten-free, or vegan (only two sides were marked vegan, but plenty of things without dairy or gluten). I’m looking forward to returning, and you can look forward to an excellent dining experience.

I have tons of allergies and finding anything to eat is so hard. I used to love eating from this place and have missed it so much. My wife on a whim called to see if they had anything that was gluten and corn free. She spoke to the manager who literally made me a special meal. My favored thing the daddy’s Philly. This place replace the bun with lettuce and even checked to make sure I could have the amazing horseradish sauce and daddy’s sauce. It was amazing! This place goes above and beyond to make sure they serve all of the customers.

Our favorite place in Murfreesboro. Superb food. Deliciously plated. Servers are engaged and knowledgeable of menu...and make excellent recommendations. We love to pop in when we want something light. BangBang shrimp is our favorite! And the servers and chef are well-versed of Gluten-Free diets and will accommodate you without hesitation. If you want excellent cuisine and service in a comfortable atmosphere...Bone Fish Grill never disappoints.

Better than a Cupcake & comes guilt free! This was a great Birthday kick off for me. I always get the Dragonfruit Bowl with my own little twist. It is ALWAYS Refreshingly Satisfying! I had the gluten free bun with a mushroom burger and my hubby had the fish. They were both excellent. The fries were nice and hot and the custard (ice cream) delicious! Our server told us of a survey with a reward of a free custard. He was doing his job very well and left us smiling 😃. Great job, Brock!

We won’t be back and I will make sure to show everyone this review that I know (I know you don’t care but I think it’s worth a share on social media the way you talk to people and can’t take feedback). You have some nerve talking to customers like this! Maybe you should learn the concept that “the customer is always right”. Your fancy awards and reputation will not last long with this language. Have a wonderful day and again, GOD BLESS YOU ❤️ First off this place is hardly gluten free. They only have two items on the menu that actually are and told me the fries are cooked in the same oil so they can’t guarantee it. So if you are celiac stay away from here. Waste of time to come here thinking it is gluten free when it’s not. Bathrooms are dirty and NO changing table. They spend more time talking to each other than helping customers out with children. You have to pretty much serve yourself and they ask for a tip? Laughable. Will not come here again.

This morning around 10:20AM my girlfriend and I were having breakfast here. My girlfriend unfortunately can't consume gluten. (Past injury, long hospital stay, caused GI damage, now she can't eat a lot of things, Gluten among them) I remain unsure of where in the operation of this particular restaurant things didn't come together.. The server may not have rang in gluten free toast, maybe the kitchen just made a mistake, or maybe whoever was on expo that sent the other server to run our food just didn't notice.. Any of which are innocent enough; things happen, nobody is perfect, and generally speaking if the response to this situation is anything to the tune of "My bad, sorry, we made a mistake"...... That's good enough for us. Maybe swap the item out, enjoy the rest of the meal, take my money, and we will be on our way. Easy enough right? Wrong. Our server was great. She ran to grab her manager. Here's where the problem began.... This guy comes over to our table, and just stands there in silence. The awkward silence felt like it lasted for an eternity, and he's just stood there staring at us. I kindly explained that they served her the wrong toast, and she noticed when she got three bites in and started feeling nauseous. Then he utters something that I still cannot believe any manager when presented with such a situation would ever think to say; in no less than a condescending tone that I still cannot describe in words. "Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. And, what would you like me to do about that?" I still can't believe I didn't raise my voice at him when he said that. Somehow I went on to calmly explain that she had a few bites, and will now spend the entire afternoon sick. After perhaps finally gaining some understanding of the situation he simply says, "Come see me up front when you're ready, and I'll take care of you." Now in this moment, I think to myself that maybe I didn't communicate effectively at first, or maybe the server didn't explain to him what was up when she went to get him, or maybe there was some other reason that he could seem to care less.. I don't know. At any rate I was prepared to let it go. So we walk up front with him, and I look in his hand and I can see a check for approximately $35 or so dollars. When we get to the register, he boldface offers us a 20% discount. Now if I was complaining about cold food or some other Karen-esque thing... Fine, give Karen a pacifier prize and move on with your day. But you've actively done something that will factually cause someone injury, illness, and distress. In the end after more conversation, he decided to comp our meal, but the whole way there this dude had a slack jawed, completely condescending, uncaring, and disrespectful demeanor, that was completely devoid of compassion or responsibility. I've had a lot of perfectly acceptable experiences at this First Watch location, but my experience this morning was absolutely infuriating. I can't believe I'm writing my first google review ever over a piece of toast. Whoever owns this store should be ashamed of whoever hired this manager, because that's who is responsible for this. If I allowed my customer facing employees and first line managers to behave like this, I find the prospect of me continuing to have a business would be dubious at best.

I recently found out I've got some inflammatory autoimmune problems and gluten sensitive so been trying various pizza places for gluten friendly options. BY FAR (although pricey but SO worth it) Jet's ROCKS for both their gluten free crust and cauliflower crust options. I had my fav toppings on the cauliflower crust and made my own "cheesy bread" for the gluten free crust. OMG, yummy!! Finally found a go-to fav option when I'm craving good pizza!

My favorite coffee spot. The coffee is amazing and after going to. Another local place were when they handed my coffee and it felt like mostly foam. I was pleasantly surprised with how heavy my coffee cup was they don't skimp lol. The also do have gluten free waffles as well.

This is an excellent place for a quick lunch. I got the lamb meatball bowl, but I think I will build my own next time. I got so excited about all of the things that I said yes to corn without even thinking about it. I don't even like corn! 🤣🤣🤦 The flavor was great and the portion was appropriate for the price. My friend got one of the wraps and it was huge. She will eat two or three times off of it, but she is a very small person. I would probably have been ridiculously full had I eaten all of it myself. Hilariously enough, I did get some of the very hot sauce on my bowl... But the samosa seemed spicier than my bowl! Both were absolutely delicious (despite the corn mistake of mine). He also brought out some cheese balls for us to try, and those were really really good. I do tend to eat gluten-free, but I went full out today because I wanted to try everything. Their menu is labeled gluten-free and vegan, so this is a good spot for those dietary restrictions as well.

My daughter and I ate lunch here for our first time and the food and the service was EXCELLENT! My daughter has to eat gluten free food only and they have a huge selection of gluten free food options on their menu. My daughter said her gluten free pasta was delicious!!!! If you have a gluten allergen. I recommend ordering any salads with dressing on the side and no croutons. This will prevent people in the back from giving you a premade refrigerator salad and just pulling croutons off at the last minute.

tldr: Gluten-free friendly, booths make it easier with the Covid... Just passing through Murfreesboro, wanted tacos and a margarita (pretty much always do). I want Mexican food, not Tex Mex or burritos or hardshell tacos with ground beef. At first Mi Patria looked like the usual strip mall kinda joint, but the cooler at the door was full of Jarritos, a good sign. Covid - I was anxious about eating inside, due to Covid, but they have high booths that are fairly insular, and that convinced me to go inside. All the staff was wearing masks, but they weren't spacing seating (that I saw). I had my mask on except when I was eating or drinking. Drinks - pitcher of margarita was good! Fairly standard but not too bright green or sour mix tasting. Definitely plenty for two people. Most of the menu didn't interest me, until I saw CEVICHE! It was a little plain, but very fresh - and plentiful. Enough for two people. My partner loved the green burrito he got, and I spooned the green sauce onto my plate. Great little spot - hope the ice cream place next door is open if I'm ever back in town!
