Roman Cucina was an unexpected gem! My friend and I tried a few dishes, but the real standout was the lemon cream sauce with shrimp. It was chef’s kiss—rich, velvety, and perfectly balanced with a hint of lemon, complementing the tender, flavorful shrimp atop a bed of pasta. The menu has tons of options, including a gluten-free selection, so there’s something for everyone. The vibes were great, the service was on point, and I’m already planning my next visit!

Excellent service meeting the needs of our gluten free daughter celebrating her birthday! The Hatch Steak was excellent. The mahi tacos, pork stew, carne asada, hatch chicken were all so flavorful and good! We were a party of 8 and received excellent service from Katie and one of the owners who checked in a few times. We had a few specialty drinks and they were very good. The sopapillas made from scratch, were a wonderful end to an enjoyably delicious and fun evening!

As someone that’s recently become severely gluten intolerant, I was super excited to hear that this place opened bc basically nowhere else in this area offers gluten free fried chicken, and it doesn’t disappoint! Tenders are MASSIVE, juicy, and flavorful, fries are good, and the sauces are great too! Can’t speak for everyone, but in my experience, it holds pretty well as long as you do what another reviewer said and crack the lid of the container open to let some steam out. It was still hot and crispy enough to where I didn’t have to reheat anything when I got home (I live 10-15 minutes away for reference). Will def add to the restaurant rotation!!

The space is pretty small and cozy. Greatxservice and food is worth the trip. We love the polenta and mushroom appetizer. The eggplant is always a home run. They do offer gluten free pasta if that is important to you.

We normally like MOD pizza. We have many people with a Gluten issue so they have the GF option. The food is always good. Our most recent visit there were two teenaged guys and they were helping us with a smile. This older lady with a frown came out from the back to help and the vibe died. Like literally none. Threw it in a cage, locked it, and tossed the key. She took over a few of our pizzas and screwed them by forgetting toppings. We asked about the kids eat free special and the one guy rang us up with it... She came over and argued about him giving it to us. We insisted that it was correct and we were right. It was VERY unprofessional and rude for her to address him and us like that. We will be back but she is a major drain on the experience. Maybe she was having a bad day but she needs to change.

Allen Café is a cozy little restaurant in the city center with good transport connections and plenty of parking spaces. The staff at Allen Cafe is very welcoming and extremely service-oriented. There is a wide selection of breakfast and lunch options as well as a changing lunch menu. The quality of the food is excellent and the prices 💲 are actually very affordable. Almost like 10 years ago. The coffee ☕️ is honestly one of the best I've had in the USA in years 🇺🇸. In short, the Allen Café actually deserves 6 ⭐️ out of 5 stars. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ My insider tip for gluten intolerant people: The breakfast burritos are also available with corn tortillas...a treat! Top stop for breakfast and lunch in Allen (Texas)!

Sandi was our waitress and she was super attentive and helpful. I am Celiac and they where very happy to accommodate. Yummy cheese flights and filet was beyond incredible! Complimentary Creme brûlée from the chef.. AMAZING!! What a fantastic dinning experience! Can’t wait to come back!!
