We usually go for a late lunch, service is pretty good, usually only 1 person working at that time. They have a decent gluten free selection, INCLUDING THE FRENCH FRIES! The only complaint I have is that everything is sticky, the tables, menus, floors and seats half the time very sticky.
A local gem serving up spot-on pizza with a rich legacy, perfect for a quick pick-up and always on point with orders.

Expect hearty meals, a laid-back vibe, and stellar service to boot!

Great option for gluten free sandwiches, and the up charge for gluten free bread on a whole sandwich is only 40 cents! Bread isn’t amazing but it’s solid, I’ve had far worse GF bread. Ingredients are good and they put plenty of meat, they don’t skimp on it like Subway does. Though I do wish the sandwiches were a bit bigger for the price.
4.5 out of 5 stars
This vibrant spot offers a laid-back vibe, delicious pizzas loaded with toppings, and a fun atmosphere that's perfect for a casual hangout.

This "meh" experience began when I walked in the door, yesterday. The host was seating another party, and while I was waiting for him to return to the host station, I watched a group of 4 men enter in the side door and go sit in the main dining room at the only table for 7 that was open. I was hyper aware because I was part of a party of seven. When the host returned, he looked out at the dining room and said he could offer me a high top table at the back by the bar, or else it would be an hour wait. I pointed out that the party of four had just gone and sat down, and that I was here first. He looked at me blankly and repeated that he had a high top available. We took the high top, which we all came to regret.
The high top table was by a huge window with glaring diffused sunlight streaming in. Those of us facing the window tried to use our menus to shade us so we could see the rest of our group. It didnt work, was painful, and we all ended up with headaches.
But wait, there's more! The server took our order, which we placed as soon as we got our drinks because we know how slow the kitchen is at apparently all Mellow Mushroom locations. I ordered a side salad that arrived first, and we were given some plates and 5 napkins for a table of 7 people, but no silverware. 15 minutes later, I still had no silverware. I could see silverware rolled up behind the bar, and there was a dishwasher rack of silverware on the table behind us, that, in addition to adding to the classy ambience, was a constant reminder of what we didn't have. When the entrees began arriving, a food runner brought a Cobb salad for another of our party. I looked her right in the eyes and said, "We need silverware." She looked at me blankly, because apparently she got the same training as the host, and then walked away without saying a word! After another 10 minutes of not being able to flag anyone down, our server returned and, to her credit, brought silverware very quickly at that point.
But wait, there's more! The pizzas arrived, but no one had ordered the Merry Prankster that a different food runner was holding along with a Karma. It should have been 2 Kosmic Karmas, instead. Before I could say I'd just eat that instead (because, you'll recall they're slow in the kitchen at MMs), she spirited it away.
Things that could have happened at that point, but didn't include: the runner could have informed the kitchen of the error, or informed our server, but she did not. Perhaps they were all distracteded and eating a Merry Prankster pizza in the back. I wouldn't know, I never saw them again. I guess the prank was on me. Note to staff, if you bring the food, you aren't done until you've brought silverware and you've let someone now when the order wasn't right!
Also, our server could have stopped by to see if our order was complete, or how our food was. She did not. Finally, after more than 10 minutes, I got up and found her. She didn't know about the lack of a Kosmic Karma. She did apologize and she came back 5 minutes later to let me know it was being made. It did finally come, long after we were boxing our leftovers and asking for the check, and still squinting into the core of the sun. To her credit, she brought a box along with it, and she easily split our check 6 ways without batting an eye. She was very nice, but I still probably over-tipped at 22 percent given all the other issues.
Now, you might wonder if a manager would come apologize, or if one Kosmic Karma would be comped off the bill. The answer is no. And, we were on the way home from a weekend youth event, with hours left to drive, so I just didn't have the wherewithal to ask for the manager myself, or wait any longer. As we left, we saw the party of 4 who had taken the table for 7, also getting up to leave. I hope they had a better experience.
Even after a bad experience last year, we stopped here because they can make a good gluten-free pizza without cross-contamination of wheat. And, because Chik-fil-A is closed on Sundays.
I guess the only Karma we had was bad karma.

My daughter and I enjoy eating here once or twice a month, and the service and food are consistently excellent. We only eat seafood and veggies and we avoid gluten, so I can only speak to specific dishes. My daughter is obsessed with the ahi tuna appetizer, which is always delicious. Typically I get the mahi or tuna entrees (which are both great) but today I wanted something light so I did a house salad and added grilled shrimp; the shrimp was beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection. Sides are always yummy. Our server today was Michelle, and she was amazing- while also managing what was definitely a busy shift. This is a favorite spot with great food, and a place where we feel comfortable and know that we will receive kind and personable service from great people like Michelle.
Unique soda machine with loads of flavors and fresh handcut fries, but serving sizes for burgers and fries have shrunk.

Always accommodating to gluten allergies and fun soda machine with many flavor options! The fries have been noticeably less quantity than in years past and burgers are smaller. Not good for peanut allergies but appreciate the use of fresh handcut potatoes!

Absolutely divine! The food was so good. My husband and I had the scallops, and my mom had the tenderloin. All wonderful. Our waiter David was fantastic! My husband is gluten-free, and they have a great selection of dishes. Oh, and the wine selection is amazing! I don't have enough space to say how great it all was! We will be back!

Skyline is uniquely situated on top of the Virginian hotel in downtown Lynchburg. The restaurant has a good selection of beer and cocktails as well as some great appetizers. I recommend the coconut shrimp appetizer. The pork ribeye was cooked done and was very tender and I really enjoyed the beets, goat cheese and roasted potatoes. Portions were good and service was excellent. If you have gluten allergy, they are very accommodating however Skyline at the time of this posting only has 1 fryer so there is the possibility of cross-contamination. Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely go back to try other dishes. Whether a fun night out celebrating something or just a romantic dinner for 2, would highly recommend Skyline if you are in the Lynchburg area.

For all of you struggling to find a gluten-free burrito that tastes like the real thing, look no further. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Looks small but apparently there is seating upstairs as well.
My sister is highly allergic to gluten. We spoke with the manager who guaranteed ys that the staff would glove up and not use any dish or cutting board that had been in contact with gluten. She was able to order from a gluten-free menu and to truly eat a gluten-free meal.
Enjoy a great vibe with an impressive selection, where every dish shines and your preferences are taken seriously.

We have gone several times, the food is great, they have a pretty good gluten free selection and take your allergy seriously. I have loved everything I've tried so far. Salmon, burgers, tequila chicken, quinoa, hell even the green beans are a knockout. Nothing bad to say at all.
A hidden gem with top-notch service and creative cocktails in a welcoming atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression.

Wandered into this little gem this evening and was just so impressed by the service, the cocktails, and the food. Excellent service by Austin at the bar and from Dave in the back of house who went out of his way to ensure my husband could eat gluten free. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Fantastic, highly recommend. Very inclusive environment.
Enjoy a stunning valley view while diving into a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements a delightful dining experience.

Service was great! Our waiter knew about celiac, and it seems like staff are well advised about food intolerance/allergies. The gluten free bun was great! My mom and I believe it is the same one another restaurant I've reviewed before used. They also label the things that are gluten free, which was nice. And for being graduation weekend at Liberty, it wasn't too loud or anything when we went. Would recommend!.
With tons of variety and generous portions, this spot offers customizable menu options and a great selection of drinks to match.

Choices, choices, choices. Lots of variety and the quality is excellent. Everyone should be able to find something to suite their tastes. Vegan options, gluten free options, and fully customizable menu. The portions are generous with well prepared and fast service. Plenty of drink options from fountain drinks, bottle drinks, smoothies, and bubble teas. Poke bowl/wrap options, soups, hibachi dinners, traditional take-out, sushi, extra sides and appetizers.

Hibachi chicken - tender and succulent with an appropriate amount of sauce, onion and zucchini was properly just slightly firm. Hibachi vegetable - had the onion and zucchini, but also mushrooms, carrots, and broccoli. Also cooked with a delicious sauce and tender with slight crisp. The yum yum sauce was provided at the table and not an overly sweet version. Complemented the rice perfectly.
This spot stands out with its consistently great vibes, unique personal touches, and an experience that keeps drawing visitors back.

I have now gone to this exact location 3 times and each time I have blown away by my experience. I know it’s a chain restaurant and it’s just food, but this place is kicking it up a notch. I have gone to other locations and did not have the same experience. To start the food is delicious! I am allergic to gluten but they have an option to substitute the noodle for a small fee. It’s only $1.50 extra so I’m not complaining for how good it comes out! Secondly every time I have come the staff is friendly, smiling, and all around just refreshing! I have always gotten a little note on my receipt saying something encouraging and positive! This place is great and is now a regular for me and my wife!
