All very good.
We stumbled upon it by chance and returned because the food and service were excellent.
We also tried the gluten-free pizza and it was delicious. You could feel that the pasta was homemade and was not dry.
Excellent place for celiacs because they also make pasta and other special dishes in addition to pizza. Only €1 more for gluten-free pizza.
Very good quality/price.
We recommend it.
This spot boasts exceptional quality and creativity in every dish, with a rotating menu that guarantees fresh surprises on each visit.

I've been returning to Mirko's cyclically with my partner for some time now, especially since we discovered that it's gluten-free. While we eat we talk about the dishes, and when we go out we continue until the next day. Because the food is of excellent quality, but above all, because behind every dish there is research that goes beyond good cuisine and leads to real art. The menu is cyclically renewed, so every time there is something different to try and discover. The fish is of the highest quality (the crudité starter is a guarantee), and the vegetarian dishes are no different. The combinations are always surprising. In the summer I also took my family there: they were all enthusiastic, and I was very happy to see that they too agreed with what we think, that is, that it is a restaurant definitely a cut above the rest of the proposals of the area. Worth trying is the new oil ice cream, not on the October 2023 menu, but also scallops & prawns, the pumpkin and Jerusalem artichoke appetizer, the fu mare... in short, it deserves everything. The choice of wines is also wide and varied. Furthermore, the gluten-free bread served is fresh and homemade, a treat. I'm surprised (in a negative way) by those who complain in these reviews about prices, portions and taste. I just feel like I have to say thank you. So, thank you. Never disappointed, not even half a time.
Enjoy stunning sea views while savoring fresh, abundant dishes in a welcoming spot with a cozy vibe, perfect for a relaxing meal.

I don't usually write reviews but I felt it was my duty to do so. I was in this restaurant during a short holiday almost by chance, after a brief Google search with the desire to eat something cooked in a traditional way and in a welcoming environment. After taking a look at the place which was already very pleasant in appearance, I decided to stop.
Once I had the menu I was immediately pleasantly surprised by the fact that they offered the gluten free version of almost all the dishes, and being gluten intolerant I ordered my special menu from a waiter with glasses, who was very kind and efficient and listened to my requests, putting me completely at ease and following the entire service at my table until the end.
I chose the seafood soup as a starter and the gnocchi with cod and walnuts as the first course. The appetizer was exceptional, so much so that I had to make the so-called "slipper" to honor it; the first also excellent; enthusiastically I also ordered the dessert that I usually never get: cantucci and aleatico; everything was wonderful on my palate; the wine, a house Vermentino, was also excellent.
My heartfelt thanks to the chef who made my dinner "The dinner" of the year and also to the owner and the waiter with the glasses.
Compliments!
A welcoming spot with chilled vibes, great prices, and a unique menu that caters to all tastes, just a short stroll from the sea!

Very nice place. The staff is helpful and very friendly, quality cuisine and above all a rarity to be able to find a place where a person with celiac disease can choose anything from the gluten-free menu. Highly recommended 😋
Expect a cozy spot with fresh fish and a nice atmosphere, plus great service and reasonable prices that keep diners coming back.

For those who need to eat gluten-free in Marina di Bibbona, it is a fixed stop, delicious bread made by them, equally good pasta, tagliatelle made by them, friendly staff and honest prices compared to other places in the area, I recommend

We stayed at Battigia at the end of August 23, there were 5 of us including 2 adults and 3 children, two of whom had celiac disease.
We were greeted with a smile and had a very good time.
First of all we took 3 oysters to eat on the beach in front while admiring the sunset with a good head of bubbles. Everything top, both the glass of Franciacorta and the oysters, Gillardeau, super..! Oysters and glass 28 euros, I would say more than honest given the quality and the location..!
Then we sat down and had 3 courses to share and two desserts. All very good and super available to make a pasta dish with gluten-free pasta that our two children really enjoyed.
We spent the right amount for the place, the quality and the service.
Small constructive criticism, in the fried food there were a lot of vegetables in proportion to the fish..!
However, everything was perfect..!
This gem near the Capraia port boasts a breezy vibe, stunning views, and a menu that rivals high-end spots elsewhere.

In summary: restaurant not to be missed in Capraia. The strong point is the quality of the sea-scented menu, which would not look out of place compared to much more renowned restaurants in other locations.
We stayed on 2.09.2023
environment -5 stars
The restaurant is on two levels, one below street level and one above. There are seats both outside and inside, even inside it's cool and it's good because everything is open and well ventilated. The location is just outside the port of Capraia, let's say at the first bend on the road that goes to the town. The road has little/no traffic as it is in Capraia. Light colors reign supreme, with a structure reminiscent of an English-style winter garden. I must say the maintenance and furnishings were very well taken care of. The mise en place is pleasant and of high quality, adequate for the level of the restaurant
Food - 5 stars
This is the real strength of the restaurant, we found absolute excellence especially in the red seafood sauces, truly balanced as is very rare to find and also in the desserts.
The rest is also good, with quality raw materials with adequate preparation, the focus is above all on the quality of the food.
I recommend the Cherie starter, squid linguine, stuffed squid and Cherie cake. Even in desserts, in my opinion we are at excellent quality pastry levels
Service - 5 stars
Education and friendliness reign supreme. Of note is his willingness to prepare gluten-free pasta for my wife on an evening when the restaurant was full
Score: 5 stars
Considering the quality of the food the price is more than fair.
with two courses each plus dessert and a bottle of good bubbles we spent 140 euros
Conclusion: the restaurant deserves a lot, we will certainly return when we are in Capraia. I would like to point out that the dining room and kitchen crew is all female, with an attention to detail that perhaps only women can have.
Charming spot with a unique set menu and lovely garden vibes, perfect for a cozy evening out—just remember to book ahead!

Year after year the restaurant confirms itself as a local excellence in catering and welcoming guests. A perfect example of what it means to provide a quality offer that is also good for the territory. There is also attention to customers' dietary requests (e.g. gluten-free). It is advisable to book in advance because it is not easy to find a place, especially in summer.
