The food was amazing it felt like a 5 star dining experience. The whole menu being gluten free and without worries of cross contamination it was a fantastic experience with food and service. I will be returning for all of my events worth celebrating. Not to mention a full side menu of mocktails 😊

Had to wait a few minutes to get seated as they were busy. Obviously popular so that's good. Lots of gluten free and vegan options which were clearly marked on the menu and much appreciated. The food was delicious and the staff helpful and friendly.

Best Thai around without a doubt. Always great food and service. If you have any allergies they are very good with adapting the dishes to accommodate. Wife is gluten free and they always get it right. Will continue to come back. Recommend: Pad Thai Gai, LEMONGRASS SOUP-incredible especially when sick.

A friend and I were on a girl's trip to the area, and we are so glad we went to Mill Street Grill. Hannah was our server, and she was SO delightful. I have to eat gluten free, and she was able to make recommendations to help my meal be delicious but also safe for me. My friend got the prime rib, and she said it was tied for the best prime rib she's ever had. This is a place to keep on the list to visit!

Early 4:30 PM dinner on 5/2/25. * Note: You can use the public parking lot across the street for $6 an hour vs the valet at the restaurant. I don't want kids driving my vehicle. We have been coming to Virginia Beach off/on for 24 years and dining at Waterman's each trip. 3 years since our last visit. Walk in. No reservation. Seated promptly inside as requested. Our standard order for two orange crushes placed. These crushes had very little actual orange taste and more ice than drink. $9.25 each. We have the drink recipe from Waterman's and make them at home regularly with the original Burnett's orange vodka. These crushes were made with the new Waterman's orange branded vodka. Didn't order any more. My wife's salmon salad and crab cake were very good. My lobster tail and sides were also good. A lot of flies inside the restaurant detracted from the meal. *Note this review was completed without using ridiculous un-discriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do yourself a favor, trust me, flavorful, or kids emojis etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No disrespect to the employees, but no one cares about the waiter/waitress/clerk names, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don't get to pick one. We don't care about your allergies, vibes, how "chill" you feel, or the need for gluten free food. **If you see a Google review posted with just stars & no text, report it via the 3 dot selection adjacent to the review. If the text in the review doesn't describe the food/service report it. This cleans up Google reviews and removes the slugs just trying to get reviewer points by marking a star or "paid" reviewers. Fantastic Fish. I had gluten-free breaded fish that was lighter and better than any breaded fish i have ever had. My wife has celiac and was able to have a great meal that was gluten-free and safe from cross-contamination.

This has been our family spot for years when we come for family vacation. It’s 9 times out of 10 a great experience. Some good things. They have great gluten free options. Their orange crushes are the best. And the prices are deff reasonable. Some not so good things. Caution if you sit outside when there is live music, you can’t hear each other talk and will have to yell. Some of their dishes lack flavor. Their peel and eat shrimp are almost inedible due to not being deveined and hard to clean out yourself.

Ate here for lunch with my husband and son. The food was delicious and service was superb as always. The second we sat down the service was ready to help me get something started for my son who was clearly hangry and on the verge of a toddler meltdown. She was knowledgeable about the menu and navigated his dairy allergy like a champion. He had the kids burger and seemed to enjoy it. I had the steak salad and it was DELICIOUS(made gluten free and Celiac safe). My husband got himself a burger and also said it was great(he is picky about his burgers and said it was cooked perfectly and he didn't have to scrape any condiments off like usual)

Berret's is the colonial seafood restaurant that was once a gas station. It has the tavern in town setting with indoor and outdoor seating, excellent food and wonderful service. Cornhole out in front and parking nearby. One member of our party enjoyed the freshest Victory Point oysters and we all shared the appetizer sampler with more oysters. The blue plate with the she crab soup was unlike a blue plate anywhere else, with the meaty crab cake and large grilled shrimp artfully arranged atop a mound of home style mashed potatoes and veggies. The seafood baked in parchment paper is presented table side still steaming from the kitchen. The wild mushrooms with orzo and vegetables is a vegan plate that was a full meal. For dessert I shared a massive slice of carrot cake with the orange cream buttercream and our other diner enjoyed the gluten free ultimate ganache brownie that was gooey and delicious. The restaurant offers gluten free and vegetarian options.

I mean no insult when I describe this delightful restaurant as a kind of hippie diner. Its menu includes many diner favorites. However, it offers gluten free, vegetarian, & vegan options! This is wonderful for my husband and me, since we have different food allergies The food is great --- check it out!

Had a fabulous meal! My mom and I are gluten free and there were so many delicious options. Definitely try the buffalo fried oysters and red crab dip. We sat at the bar and Whitney offered fantastic service. She had great menu suggestions.

My son and I decided to try Island Wings because they have the patio that we were told was dog friendly. (We take out our babies to town often and look for dog friendly places to eat.) They do have a gluten free menu but I honestly prefer when items are marked gluten free on the regular menu. They were hands down the most dog friendly restaurant we've found. Our server, wish I could remember her name, was great! She immediately got them a bowl of water and even freshened it up after my bullmastiff drank and got drool in it. Out food was good but we were very happy with the portions our dogs got off the doggy menu. We were there on a Saturday but it wasn't busy. It was a nice relaxing atmosphere and a great place to grab a bite to eat especially if your dog is with you.

Probably one of the three best meals I've ever eaten. Everything was beyond fantastic. The lavender rose lemonade was so refreshing and delicious. Rarely do I see so many gluten free options but I could eat a majority of the menu. Everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I tried some of my son's butter chicken and it actually made me laugh with joy. The atmosphere was also very inviting and cozy. It was much bigger than I thought it was going to be judging from the outside.

The church building, the location (we had a fantastic walk all around the neighborhood and waterfront after dinner), and the food were all perfect!!! It's no wonder this company is so successful and has so many restaurants. You just can't do better than this - in all facets - deliciousness, variety, service, atmosphere, etc. This was my first visit to this one. I was greeted by a great hostess staff, and then was lucky enough to get Ryan as my server. Extremely knowledgeable, super personality, and gave great suggestions when asked about the menu. I had the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp on it. It couldn't have been better. Zak, the manager, came to the table to ensure all was well. He also was extremely nice and dedicated to the best customer service. I would eat here again in a minute. They do have gluten free options and are sensitive to celiac sufferers, especially Zak.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. Pricey, but worth it. And, honestly, everything is pricey these days. Treat yourself and have a great time. I love that they have an actual gluten free menu! It's rare we have so many great options. We enjoyed trout and black cod with asparagus, mashed potatoes, and crabmeat. We even had an extremely delicious gf flourless brownie with strawberry sauce! Don't forget to ask for crayons to color on the table paper!

Drove a little out of our way from I-81 to check out this place and we were well rewarded for our time. The brisket was very good (excellent texture, good flavor), the pulled pork was excellent, and the variety of BBQ sauces was also superb. Lots of options for kids. The catfish bites were very good and portions were solid. I'm gluten free and the menu had plenty of good options for me. Plus the staff was very knowledgeable about my options. Also seems like a great place to watch a game.

The service at Costal Flats is amazing. They are very capable of accommodating people with gluten sensitivities. As a person with celiac, I have never had a problem here. I always enjoy the beef rib plate, with the fries swapped for mashed potatoes. I highly recommend Costal Flats.

My Husband and I go to Rudee's each year after the VA BEACH BOAT SHOW. I now have to Gluten Free and was afraid there wouldn't be much I'd eat there now...I am beyond thankful to see ALL THE GF ITEMS!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR SUCH A BIG GF MENU!!!! CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

Crab cake starter, lots of lump with very little filler - excellent! Wife enjoyed her mocktail. She got the 6oz filet and for first time ever she said best she’d ever had and ate the entire thing (high praise). I had the cowboy ribeye and was blown away at our tender and delicious it was. We shared the asparagus and sweet potatoes sides. Everything was prepared beautifully. The highlight was our server Patrick, he was patient with my wife’s dairy and gluten allergies and made sure everything was as it should be. He was warm and kind and was a great help with suggestions.

Hands-down, one of my favorite more upscale restaurants. The service is phenomenal. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Tysons. Everything is consistent from the service and the food. I always go for the raw oysters. Their shrimp cocktail is huge and delicious. They accommodate my gluten sensitivities and their food is just delicious. I always go having at least four courses. Whether you’re a fish person or a steak person or even vegetarian, they have a great menu with a lot of variety. One of my favorite items that I get as an entrée is there branzino which I’m not sure if I spelled that right but it’s a fish is so light and delicate and the season it wonderfully. It is the type of place where you can get sides and they have such a variety. If there is just two people, I recommend asking for the half portion of the signs because if you get the full, that’s going to be a lot. Either way they’re sides are very generous. Great dessert varieties. They make a variety of cocktails and have a wonderful expanded wine list and a beautiful view. They also have valet which I highly recommend. There valet is very professional, and they make it easy. I’ll have to come back here later to share some photos but if you’re looking for a great date night or even a place to sit at the bar and unwind after work you’re going to enjoy Eddie V‘s.

Our Valentine's Day dinner was fabulous! Ashley was our server, and she was stellar. I highly recommend the lobster bisque and the scallops. Both gluten free which I have to be. The creme brulee was okay, but I only had a couple of bites. The Bombay Blue Sapphire martinis were wonderful!

It was very delicious! As a person with Celiac it was a very special experience because the Chef came out and walked us through the entire Buffet to show us exactly what was gluten free. He was Very knowledgeable about the gluten allergy. He even offered to make a few of the items that were not gluten free on buffet gluten free for us on a sterile pan!🤩 The Braised Brisket and the Mahi was THE BEST!!!

We recently had our office party at this restaurant and it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were exceptional. From the servers to the manager and chef, everyone was friendly and accommodating. Our team really enjoyed the variety of options, especially for our gluten-free and vegetarian colleagues. The restaurant was clean and efficient, and the manager and chef even took the time to personally check on our table. We were extremely pleased with the level of customer service and will definitely be returning.

We went on Valentine's Day and the manager made sure that every woman received a rose. I had the Mahi Mahi Tacos and blueberry lemonade! My husband and I ate there this past Saturday night. From the moment we got to the front door, the staff were polite, welcoming and so accommodating! We sat at the bar and Bridgett, the bartender, was great! The food was also amazing! EVERYTHING was sooo good!
