Sunda Lunch Catering was great. Our group liked the Chicken, Tofu and LOVED the Pad Thai. Our Vegan/Gluten-Free guest appreciated all the options available including the individual salad. The delivery order drop off was smooth. Sam was super helpful and made sure to check in with me every step of the way ensuring our order was correct and set-up the way we wanted. Thank you again (Nicole) for all your help with coordinating! I will definitely keep Sunda in mind for future staff events.

Cute little Cafe. Was looking for a place that had a gluten free menu while visiting. Server was friendly and knowledgeable and reassured me that they had a seperate prep area and cooked gluten free food on a seperate grill. I ordered the steak sandwich and fruit cup. Little pricey for a sandwich that was more veggie than meat. Fruit had a funny taste to it, maybe because it was out of season. Husband ordered regular steak sandwich as well, it was in a pita. He liked it. Daughter ordered chicken club and thought it was very good. They also gave gluten free dessert. I did not indulge in dessert. Overall, not a bad place to eat. If in Chicago again I would definitely stop in. I have Celiac and did not get sick from eating here, so that is a bonus.
This spot offers a vibrant atmosphere with a diverse menu that caters to various dietary preferences, ensuring a unique dining experience.

Beautiful restaurant, great service, and everyone is so fast and so kind I always enjoy my time here and it is so delicious so many options for vegan, gluten free, vegetarian, and many other diet types! I love how versatile the menu is as well as how unique it is! It is certainly not your average sushi, it’s better!
This spot offers a fantastic variety of unique options that keep regulars coming back for more—definitely a must-visit!

Great selection at affordable pricing. I would say this has the best value for price with great flavor, variety, and selection. Plus it has a great gluten free selection for celiac. Have yet to have something I didn't like!
Specifically on the sushi, some of the rolls are a bit bland but, again, value wise you can get some fantastic gems at affordable pricing versus down the street for 2x or 3x the price. Every roll I've gotten was great quality and I've often specifically tipped the sushi chef.
A hidden gem near Terminal 2 Gate E1 offers an inviting atmosphere, a full bar, and a chance to enjoy the basics safely.

My husband and I ate dinner here on a Sunday and had a pretty good experience. I have gluten and dairy food allergies so I wanted to make sure I could get gluten free rolls and I was able to. The hostess was clueless and couldn’t even tell us if there were gluten free options, nor could she bother to put in the effort to hand my husband a menu when he asked. I wonder how many people with gluten allergies have not stopped here because of her since she was working during both our treks through the airport. Other than her terrible attitude, the waitress was very sweet and attentive and reassured us that the rolls could be made gluten free and the chefs were good about gluten allergies. She did mention that any of the rolls could be made gluten free and I believe the bowls can be gluten free also. We ordered 3 rolls to share (2 gluten free) and I had no issues at all. The portion size was large and the rolls were good- much better than supermarket sushi as other reviews have commented. They even had tamari. There wasn’t a lot of noise from people walking by and the chairs were pretty comfortable as well. If we have another layover at O’Hare while traveling, we will definitely be stopping again!

I adore this place. I'm vegan/vegetarian, and they have a whole, dedicated vegan menu. I'm so excited to try all of the items on it!! 😊
I have a friend with celiacs disease that can eat here because they tag items as GF. The gluten free friend didn't have any reaction to their cooking, so I believe they know what they're doing! We did let them know ahead of time, and the server was able to reassure us and pick some great options. 🥢
Their tiki drinks are also very fun and strong, so the higher price makes more sense to me for the area compared to other restaurants.🍹
I recommend the edemame, kimchi cucumber, sushi burrito, pad Thai, Thai curry, pad kee mao, and nasi goreng
Expect an unforgettable dining experience with high-quality dishes, friendly vibes, cool robots, and unique personal touches that celebrate your special moments!

Our family has eaten here too many times to count - I think it is one of the best restaurants in Batavia. Our food is constantly delicious and high quality - whether we dine in or carry out. My typical order consists mainly of maki rolls and sashimi, and Swordfish can always accommodate our gluten-free and dairy-free needs. I love that they can swap king crab in for me. It is a treat! I even could get sushi here (cooked rolls) when I was pregnant years ago. Last night, my whole family of five was happy with their food - even the beef only eater of the family - who loved both his salad and beef bulgogi. The staff has always been friendly and helpful when I was new to sushi. May was our server last night, and she displayed the perfect level of attentiveness. Thanks for another wonderful dinning experience.

Admittedly pricey even for a raw vegan restaurant, but overall fantastic raw vegan food! I'm also impressed that they even changed the pizza to make it gluten free using Cassava! My only complaint, albeit a big one, is I wish they used maple syrup or monk fruit instead of agave nectar. Best raw vegan restaurant in Chicago hands down!

We love the food from Mora! It’s one of our go-to places for delivery. It’s delicious and they have so many gluten free options. Tonight I went in to pick up takeout. Really cool place with nice outdoor seating. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great service. I’d like to go back and dine in.
Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful dinner here a few weeks ago. We tried a few of the rolls ( spicy tuna and crispy rice) and had shrimp fried rice. The cocktails were great as well! Also they were knowledge about a gluten allergy and our party really appreciated the options they had available! Wonderful addition to Frankfort.

Delivery was fast and super tasty. Gluten free items were clearly marked on delivery menu and on delivered food. On a very cold day in May (yes, May!) in Evanston with no kitchen due to a remodel and a herniated disc keeping me home, and feeling down about being gluten free, omg, this made my day. I am forever a fan.

The atmosphere of this place is 10/10! I loved the tiki bar / sushi vibes. It was cozy and inviting. They have a huge gluten free selection for food. The drink menu was great too. Everything was very aesthetically pleasing and tasty.
Service was awful. It took 2.5hrs to have lunch. The server often disappeared for long periods of time and everything took much longer than it should have. Me and my dining partner were never brought the same course at the same time- drinks, appetizers, and mains were all brought out one by one and with significant time in between. I had to ask 3 times to get gluten free soy sauce and sat with food waiting for at least 15min in an empty restaurant. Desert was brought without utensils and we asked for utensils immediately - the person we asked disappeared completely and 5min later I waved down our server to get spoons. The “chefs” were very unprofessional- standing around joking loudly and whistling for the servers when food was completed. The food tasted
acceptable but not exceptional and it was definitely overpriced. I was careful to let them know about my food sensitivities, ask questions and ordering according to the GF menu items and I still got sick when I came home. My experience was disappointing and I will not be returning.

Our new go-to sushi date night place. Gluten-free options, including tempura! They make their own gluten free batter. We ordered two signature rolls: Fire Ball and Blazing Mango. The chef makes a special sauce for the Fire Ball, so we didn't even touch the soy sauce or ginger/wasabi. It was magical on its own. Blazing Mango was an explosion of summertime and is my favorite sushi I have ever tried. We had the coppa pistachio for dessert which was top notch. The staff and the GM were so incredibly kind and welcoming. Naperville folks, you need to be a little more adventurous and head east!
Kuro Bistro is one of the newer Japanese restaurants out there. It has a nice contemporary designed interior. The food is good, the drink selection is good too.
The main issue why it isn't five stars was the fact that I was assured that the sushi did not have allergins. I had a terrible stomach meldown the next day, so I think there might be some sortof allergin contamination at work.
I have both a gluten and dairy intolerance. (sad face) They are very accommodating about the gluten allergins, not as much the dairy allergins. The staff does not know much about what has dairy in it. This is excellent for those who are gluten restricted, but an issue for those who has an allergy to anything else. Plus there is barely any signature Maki that can be made gluten free without ditching the unagi sauce. I wished there was gluten-free unagi especially at a nice place like this. I shouldn't complain too much because they try unlike most Japanese cuisines I visited.
The Maki tasted very good though. I, like most places, try the tuna, and spicy scallops, and I tried the Fire Tuna without the glutainous unagi sauce. I wished I could try out their American Japanese fusion foods (burgers, fries, etc), but I wasn't taking a chance with the intolerances.
The drinks were pretty good. I ordered the Otokoyama Tokubestu Junmai sake. It was smooth.
Overall, it is a pleasurable experience that is good to attend to. Intolerances are pretty constraining like at most Japanese restaurants. But at least they try to accommodate GF unlike most.
Experience super fresh sushi in a welcoming atmosphere that keeps locals coming back for more.

Love this place! Very hearty, delicious ramen. Their special sushi rolls are also great! My boyfriend has celiac disease and our server informed us they had limited gluten free options, but he got sushi (with tamari) didn’t have any reaction. $5 hot sake was a good way to warm up on a chilly evening 🍶
Featuring a separate menu and a cozy vibe, this spot impresses with fresh offerings and top-notch service, making for a delightful dining experience.

As a person living with celiac disease, it can be difficult to eat out. Sen Sushi Bar makes it simple for people like me. They have a separate GF menu, knowledgeable staff, and GF tamari on hand for dipping.
I've eaten there twice and have had wonderful experiences both times. The service is terrific, the fish is super fresh, and the tea never stopped coming.
If you're living gluten-free like I am, you should definitely check out Sen.

Absolutely awesome sushi spot. We live nearby so we have been going there since we moved in a few years ago. Super kind, DELICIOUS food (my husband loves the bento boxes), and they can accommodate gluten allergies with their sushi! I have celiac, and they’re super careful for me- even bringing me a bottle of GF tamari and walking me through the menu so I feel 100% safe. Highly recommend.

Charlie was excellent. OP is very accommodating for Gluten Free. The short rib and scallop starter was delicious. Wish it was an entree. The scallop entree wasn't as good as we remembered from a couple years ago. Risotto was too al dente. The English peas tasted raw and the flavor wasn't balanced. The grouper entree was fabulous! Creme Brulee was the best we have ever had. Every cocktail was amazing. We definitely had a wonderful meal.

Great atmosphere, a lot of food for the money. They weren't busy. Server acted like we were an inconvenience and we're just wasting his time. You can eat gluten free here if you're careful, our server seemed upset I didn't want croutons or dressing on my salad. This was my first and probably last time to go here.

If you have Celiac, or are sensitive to gluten don’t order from the “gluten free” portion of the menu- it’s not gluten free. I spent a the majority of my night violently ill from one of the dishes. (And did report it to the restaurant)

We've eaten at Ruk for YEARS as it's one of the only places we can find something every member of our family will love, and the food and service is always excellent.
