I've been going to because I have celiac disease and they are 100% gluten-free but Unfortunately, I recently tested their food with my Nima sensor, and it found gluten, which made me really sick and almost sent me to the hospital. It's super important for places that serve gluten-free food to make sure it's actually safe for people with celiac disease. Do better the owner insured me no gluten very disappointed. Ate here for the first time and the food was so delicious! The dining area was clean and cozy, staff was friendly. They have a nice variety of gluten free options too! Amazing ramen soup, boba tea and my favorite was the crispy chicken with chili sauce. Yumm! Can’t wait to go back.

Hands down BEST vegan sushi! I have traveled around the world for work & have tried vegan food in many places, this is one of the top for me. What I most appreciated was how gluten free friendly they were…I was greeted by a wonderful server who immediately accommodated me with all the options & was very attentive to ensure I didn’t order anything with gluten. Bravo!! I stole a tiny bite of the mushroom dumplings from my husband & they have amazing flavor. My Mighty Mushroom roll was outstanding & the chik’n skewers were scrumptious. We also tried the spicy jackfruit crab roll which is a must! Last but not least, it’s mind boggling how good the Ube Cashew Cheesecake tastes. Again, I stole a small bite of the filling!! This place is definitely on my list ANYTIME I visit the city! PLEASE come to MD/DC….we are really in need of some more elevated vegan food. The market here is waiting for you!!

My experience at Momoya was great. I went here for my birthday, and I have to highlight the exceptional customer service from the moment I walked in. When the server came to the table, he immediately asked if there were any allergies. I mentioned that I have a gluten allergy, and later during the night, when I requested a roll to go, the server came over to inform me that the roll contained gluten. I appreciated this extra care because he was mindful of my needs, which really stood out to me. The sushi was good. I tried the Yellowtail Scallion Roll, the Momoya Box, and the Sushi and Sashimi Tasting for two. For drinks, I tried both the Pornstar and Lychee cocktails, and I definitely preferred the Pornstar, which has a passion fruit base. As for dessert, since I have celiac, most options had gluten, but they surprised me with sorbet at the end of the meal. Once again, the customer service was top-notch. While my experience at Momoya was enjoyable, my go-to place for sushi remains Sugarfish. Although the sushi at Momoya was great, I still prefer Sugarfish because the quality of the sushi is amazing, and I find it more affordable for what you get. Momoya, however offers a different vibe—it's livelier, brighter and has cocktails.

THE BEST PLACE ON EARTH / well also i need to know if the forks are bio- degradable??? I care for the environment so it kinda worries me about the forks. I dont know if it’s good for the earth or not. I also LOVE how theres so many vegan options and they gotten better with serving the celiac population since last year. Im so proud of their growth. It’s very clean in here LOVE that. Bathroom… looks spectacular!!! Im very happy there were paper towels it’s more sanitary than the hand dryers. I LOVE the staff i came on 1/6/2025 very beautiful people. Warm. Friendly.

New food experience in New York. After a long walk visiting Brooklyn Bridge, WTC, Time Square and Little Italy, we decide to do a stop in SugarFish, as suggested by a friend of us. Nice location, with a good menù and three tasting proposal. Good food experience for the eyes and the taste. I suggest also for Celiac people.

Food is tasty like a lighter version of a regular Chinese restaurant. That is expected since air frying greatly reduces added fats. But the food is good and doesn’t leave you feeling heavy after you eat. Would eat there more often if it were closer to home. My wife has to eat gluten free and the staff is very knowledgable. Sadly not all items can be made gluten free.

The service, atmosphere, and food were AMAZING! Highly recommend going early in the day or making a reservation. Our server brought us wine samples, and the sushi is the best I’ve ever had. They were knowledgeable on my gluten intolerance as well and brought me gluten free soy sauce.

This was a delicious sushi offering and wonderful experience. Their menu clearly listed gluten free options sad they even offered gluten free tempura shrimp (which was fantastic). Our waiter was exceptionally nice and attentive. We will be back!

This is an awesome sushi place in NYC. The food was delicious, service was great, and the prices were incredible! The server was also knowledgeable about what I’d be able to have with my gluten allergy. I wouldn’t say it’s a place to go for the atmosphere as it’s pretty plain inside, but that doesn’t matter when everything else is so great!!! 100% recommend for fresh and delicious sushi for a totally fair price! We came here for my partner’s 30th birthday and were not disappointed :)

Highly recommend their Sushi Sashimi Combination (which has a few elements subject to a change on a weekly basis), Sakana San Shu maki with avocado (phenomenal) and the Salmon and Avocado roll (a common but excellent choice). If you’re in the mood for a splurge, the Hokkaido Uni and Kyushu Aji are incredible. As for their cocktails, the Yuzi-Hi (Shochu, St Germain, Yuzu) is refreshing and never disappoints. Their staff is very knowledgeable and their kitchen is able to safely accommodate multiple allergies (gluten, soy, crab and sesame).

We found Teton a few years ago and have never looked back since. When I was younger my family moved to Japan and while living there I was fortunate enough to experience Thailand and authentic Thai food. The Pad Thai at Teton is hands down the best Pad Thai I have had ever outside of Thailand. My mom confirmed that sentiment when we let her try their Gluten Free version just this past weekend. I had a great experience with this restaurant. They have several vegetarian options. I ordered the avocado roll and an asparagus, cucumber, and avocado combo roll. When I ordered over the phone, the staff confirmed the rolls could be made gluten free (aside from the wasabi). When I got home and opened the bag, I saw that they had given me gluten free soy sauce packets as well! To top it all off, the food was delicious. I’ll definitely eat here again.

Exquisite experience! My fiancé and I chose this restaurant to celebrate his birthday and the experience was truly fabulous from start to finish! Everyone was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I have a gluten free allergy and Chef Mike diligently prepared each course for me, informing me about any differences in my gluten free dish. Fantastic Omakase experience. Visiting New York and am so glad we can here. Each piece of nigiri was artfully crafted. The fish was fresh and delicious. Robert masterfully alternated with different flavors, textures and preparations. My wife is Celiac’s and required a gluten preparation. The restaurant was able to accommodate her dietary requirements without impacting the quality of her experience. We HIGHLY recommend and look forward to returning soon!

Such a delicious dinner!! I had the skirt steak and it was super juicy. I recommend the Brussel sprouts as a side. Shout out to our waiter Saul, I recommend him, he answered all of our questions and very descriptive of all of the daily specials! I also was really happy with all the gluten free options. Had the amazing -- and inexpensive !! salmon tacos here, served on (handmade?) delicious corn tortillas 😋 which are very much appreciated by this gluten-allergic customer! Wow, the raw tuna ones sounded delicious as well -- love the Japo/Mexi melting pot that is this place!

Since I found out I can’t have gluten, the thing I missed most is Chinese food. Kiki’s will modify almost any dish to make it gluten free, and I never get sick. Even when other family members order items containing gluten, they put my food in a separate bag. The food is great. I’m still giving them five stars, but I do have to say I’m sad they don’t work with doordash anymore. It was nice being able to get delivery in Chester.

Sushi wa is my favorite place to eat! Whether I want in person dining, to go/pickup, or delivery, this is the place for me. As someone with a gluten allergy, they offer to make gluten free substitutions and even have that option on their website. This is amazing!
