Always excellent food, and they take care with my celiac requests, which I appreciate. Each time I've eaten there I've had an enjoyable meal, but almost always have issues with service. The staff are lovely, but wait times between either ordering or meals have been quite long. I've had my order completely forgotten once, and a booking overlooked.
A cozy spot with soothing lighting, spacious seating, and a welcoming vibe, perfect for enjoying fresh, high-quality meals with great attention to detail.

Wonderful, soothing lighting and not too many tables squashed together. Not too loud either, you can hear your conversation. Our server was so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and the drinks cold. They do take away meals too so we got our dessert to take home as we were full but the food was so good we didn’t want to miss out on something tomorrow. I love that nearly everything is gluten free.
Highly recommend the gnocchi and the venue.
Cool vibe, tasty options, and fast service make this spot a go-to for anyone craving delicious meal choices in a laid-back atmosphere.

Recently dined in with my partner.
Both gluten free bun’s were stale and chips were cold. The buns are consistently stale. Will not be eating here anymore. Point Cook Grill’d is excellent and doesn’t have the same quality control problems as Geelong.
A versatile venue with a modern vibe, perfect for events, plus a fantastic menu and a lively atmosphere that keeps visitors coming back.

Amazing place for brekky and coffee… we visited from Melbourne for a family getaway… found this little gem and had no issue having breakfast daily here … 5 days in a row! They cater for coeliac exceptionally well and kids meals are very substantial. Awesome vibe , service is A1.. meals brought out super fast. Food amazing. Highly recommend this to all the foodies out there. Plenty of good food options near where we are staying (city centre) but it’s worth the 6 min drive to come here. Thanks again… we will be back

We dined at Tulip last night and were blown away not only by the food, but by the experience and accommodation of the staff. The venue is situated on a gorgeous laneway, and the restaurant is intimate, clean yet quiet and noise does not echo. We were greeted with the drink menu which has an impressive variety of cocktails, wines and beers. I appreciate the option of being able to order a 'half glass' of wine too - useful when you can't decide like me!
The chef came over with a complimentary tomato and burnt chive oil drink which was a lovely way to start the meal and the flavours were incredibly fresh, unique and moreish - I would come back for this alone! We had the set menu and had a gluten free member on the table - the kitchen was amazingly compromising for this and provided gluten free options for everything. We also opted to not have the lamb on the menu and they were happy to replace it with another main dish. We were served bread, a buckwheat cracker, olives and butter as well as tomatoes and ricotta as entrees - so fresh! A dish of snapper, nasturtium and peas followed which was the best dish I have ever eaten at a restaurant. Mains consisted of a roast chicken with hazelnuts and a rich gravy with a side of potatoes and rosmary butter and a bitter leaf salad. We never order dessert out but were so impressed we had to give it a try - and it didn't disappoint! A chocolate caramel fudge with puffed barley and a malted milk ice cream, a taste bud tantalising adventure that left us all wanting more.
In addition, the staff wished me a happy birthday which was very special. I will definitely be coming back here in the future. Thanks for the wonderful experience Tulip!

Excellent gluten free options, very tasty authentic Mediterranean food, reasonably priced, and the staff were genuinely concerned that everything was great. Low key place (not fancy) with great food!

The food at Pizza Bar took me back to the pre-COVID days when we could travel and enjoy international cuisine from its country of origin. Unlike other Geelong restaurants that boast of an authentic foreign dining experience, the Pizza Bar located at the heart of Pakington Street really fulfils expectations. My husband has previously failed to find an enjoyable calamari dish in Geelong, yet the Pizza Bar has more than impressed him. Perfectly cooked and crisp to perfection, it complimented my daughter’s potato and leek pizza served on one of the most delectable gluten-free bases I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. 5 stars is simply not enough for this restaurant.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with great recommendations from locals and a menu that caters to various dietary needs for an unforgettable experience.

Best food i’ve had in a while! I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting or living in the area. Gluten free friendly as well which was perfect for my son! Even helped my sister by giving her a good time.
Excellent service, quality food, great menu and coffee. Staff are extremely friendly, gluten free and allergy friendly options available. Highly recommend, especially for brunch!
Great customer service from lady, great crispy chips. Helpful and explained our order in regards that would still contain just traces of gluten, which was fine.
A phenomenal venue with a fantastic outdoor area, perfect for gatherings where kids can run and adults can relax, all at great value.

We recently had our daughters baptism at The Village Door with 30 guests. It was absolutely phenomenal.
The staff were amazing. The food portions were fantastic, we took some home. The quality of food was great, so authentic and delicious.
The gluten and dairy free meals were also exceptional. Filling and not lacking in taste.
The venue itself is 10/10. Great outdoor area. The kids enjoyed being able to run up and down in the sun while we enjoyed a wine.
It was really Value for money.
Definitely recommend and will return in the future.

We had a fabulous experience at Palat. My daughter is coeliac so it can be hard to find somewhere yummy that can accommodate, Palat had so many GF options on the menu, the staff were super friendly and very attentive, lovely little courtyard out back to use on a sunny day. Will definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu!! .
