We had lunch at this restaurant by chance. I was surprised by the vast choice of gluten-free options, including fried foods (the squid, prawns and cod ones were delicious!). Advised!! It's best to book because it fills up quickly.
Discover a lively spot in the heart of Livorno, known for its generous portions, quality ingredients, and a cozy, welcoming vibe.

A very well-kept place just a stone's throw from the central market. As soon as you enter you are greeted by a very polite, kind and helpful young staff, attentive to all the needs of adults and children. They have a delicatessen-style window with take-away dishes, while next door they have a well-furnished room where you can eat, alternatively there are tables outside.
The menu is very varied and cheap, where fish is the master and is truly delicious, in addition to the generous portions!! 😄 We had: anchovies "alla povera", spaghetti with octopus, cod "alla livornese", a fried fish to share, some chips, a water, a coffee and a punch (typical Livorno coffee with "rumme".. Must try! 😋) and spent €64!
We had a really good time and I highly recommend it. 😉
If you can, book, during the week with the market open it will be full, quieter on Sunday.
P.S. The bathroom is hidden by a fantastic door with a fake bookcase, they also have a changing table😉
N.B. They also make many dishes gluten-free, even fried food! 😄
RECOMMENDED! 😉
Chill spot with a cozy outdoor vibe, offering praised pizza and desserts that keep everyone coming back for more.

I am a regular customer and unfortunately after repeated times I now have to leave a negative review. Gluten-free pizzas really worth looking at (I accept the crudino under the pizza since you cook it with the film underneath compulsorily) but I don't accept the pizza half 3cm high and the other 3mm!!! With parts even without mozzarella and taste and like eating a piece of bread with tomato. It's not like it used to be, maybe the pizza chef has changed. From now on I'm going elsewhere.
Experience spot-on punctuality with advance deliveries, enjoy top-notch service, and find great value for money here. You'll surely be back for more!

Excellent pizzas, even gluten-free, maximum safety and cleanliness. The girls at the counter were very kind and smiling.
unfortunately there are not many possibilities to eat on site. Owner very attentive to customers, treated very well, a little less attentive to employees, at least in the short time I spent there.
Nestled in the stunning Gulf of Livorno, this well-organized spot boasts a great atmosphere and standout pizza options.

Located in the splendid setting of the Gulf of Livorno, this place is very well organized in managing reservations with minimal waiting times, average service and really good pizza, even in a gluten free version. Advised

I was recommended to eat here for dinner, and I must say I was really satisfied. We got the steak sandwich and it was excellent! The paprika chips that accompanied the sandwich were tasty although perhaps a little few. Also highly recommended for those intolerant to gluten, in fact it is possible to choose sandwiches with a gluten free variant
Charming spot with a great vibe, known for its delicious dishes and inviting ambiance, though be prepared for a bit of a wait.

Gluten-free seafood carbonara, discreet. The problem is two euros of purified water (very bad taste by the way) and two euros of cover charge which also consists of bread with gluten, therefore not even touched. Too many.
High-quality, diverse pizza options with a focus on digestibility and quick delivery make this spot a local favorite.

The place is quite cozy.
The varied staff, some kind and helpful waiters, some annoyed...
Average food. Poor cutting boards for the price.... A vegetarian 17 euros plus 3 euros extra for asking for it to be gluten-free and lactose-free, even if the cheeses were removed and replaced by a few slices of raw ham.
Cocktails 8 euros, when the menu says 7 euros for cocktails.
Pretty good truffle platter.
Total cost for two cutting boards, a glass of red, 53 euros.
From what I heard, I expected something more........
Nestled in a serene spot, this charming venue offers a creative culinary journey with stunning presentation and top-notch quality.

If you want to spend a pleasant evening, pampered, in a youthful environment, away from the chaos of the city of Livorno, Ciglieri is the right restaurant.
During the culinary journey you notice how
the refinement and care in the combinations and presentation of the dishes is fundamental, managing to
maintain the identity of the raw material.
From entrée to dessert, a journey of pleasure.
Excellent service, particular attention to the customer's dietary needs, as he is celiac.
Excellent value for money.
