Had an amazing gluten free chicken burger in really nice bun with chips and coleslaw. I have to say the staff were really very understanding and no question or concern was too much. I really appreciate their willingness to answer any question. Service food drinks ambience can’t complain. They even brought a new mayo unopened so no risk of contamination. Thank you!!!

We were a family of 9 including my Grandchildren.The staff were friendly, it was busy but our order was taken quickly and the starters arrived after a short wait. Our main courses weren't too long after. The food was really nice and my gluten free pizza base was nice and thin. There was only 1 ladies toilet open as the other was locked. The other toilet was full of paper and the flush was broken so it was smelly. A member of our party reported it to a member of staff but it wasn't fixed.

We have just come back from our second stay at the Crab & Boar and it was just as amazing as our first trip. We came for a relaxing weekend away and that us exactly what we got, from check-in we were warmly welcomed by Kasper, he was most helpful and then team remembered us from 5 months again when we previously visited. We were booked in for the restaurant for that night with ease, shown to our room which was absolutely beautiful (beautiful decor, unique and cosy) and back to the bar for food & drinks. The customer service from Dave was exemplary and we were made to feel at home straight away, nothing was too much to ask for and we felt that throughout the whole weekend. I have a serious gluten & onion allergy and at no time was I made to feel like that was an issue, the chefs were amazing in catering for my dietary needs and the staff especially Dave made sure I always had a good meal beside me even when I was happy to have something simple. I can not thank the staff enough for their kind hospitality the whole weekend, they made it so enjoyable and we are so looking forward to returning with friends to show them what a magical time away the Crab & Boar can create. Beautiful! Gluten free options available/dishes kindly adapted for coeliacs. Perfect meal and atmosphere. Lovely to sit at the counter and see the dishes prepared. Amazing ferments - would go back for those alone.

So happy to find this place and to actually be able to order a cake is amazing as I’m gluten and dairy free, pineapple cafe offer a great choice for allergy’s compared to any cafe I’ve been to. Great coffee and a lovely service and atmosphere. Looking forward to visiting again.

I can’t fault the service and the food, my son is gluten free and they go out there way to support his needs, he accidentally dropped his ice cream today, the server spotted it and with out saying anything brought a new one straight over, my son was upset and worried he had done it, but the server was amazing and just said no problem enjoy the new one. The relaxed approach for my son and us makes up visit regularly. I think the kids menu is fault lose and to feed my son a good flavoured burger and chips for £4.95, which is a good size these days takes some beating. Credit to 7 bones they are not making family’s feel its not out of their reach to eat out. Well done 👏

This place is great! Serves pizza slices in squares or conventional round pizzas, all made in the shop and really nice. Can do gluten free bases too, great coffee, pasta and lots of other Italian bits and bobs. Proper locally-run business not a chain, lovely food and service, highly recommend!

Had a lovely meal here with a large group of friends. It's a great menu with plenty of choice, I often struggle because I am gluten-free. I had the Venison Bourguignon but I could even have had many of the others including fish and chips, which is very unusual. Our party all agreed the food was excellent. The staff were friendly, charming and helpful - Briony was a stand-out! Will definitely be back.

Nice pizzas with a decent amount of toppings. Gluten free option that is one of the best I have tried (don't get your hopes too high, still a long way to go to taste anything like the real deal) in quite a few of the menu options. Also vegan options. You can order online but I had problems with my card provider (next time I will just use PayPal) and went there to order. Attendant very nice and polite took the effort to check that the order hadn't actually gone through and then allowed me to order right there. Pizzas were ready in less than 15 minutes. Compared to the mediocre Domino's pizzas that we got last week from the place in Thatcham, these ones were miles apart.

Following contacting the restaurant prior to attending for a colleagues leaving do about my Gluten Free requirements I was informed to check their online menu. Nothing on the on line menu mentions Gluten Free options so I contacted again and was told nearly every meal could be made Gluten Free. I selected my meal and on the day it came with a side of NON Gluten Free pita bread. When it was placed down with my GF meal I asked and was told sorry it wasn't and there wasn't a GF option so not sure why it was brought and and if I hadn't of asked would have made me I'll if I had eaten it. I never received my drinks order even though I asked for it 3 times (a simple pineapple juice). The food was good but the service really let the place down and could have made me really ill.

A good sizzling pig gluten free pizza. The children's meal was good. Reasonably priced, especially after using my blue light card. Great service.
