Plan B is my favorite restaurant in Glastonbury. It’s a gluten-free friendly environment where I can enjoy actual fried foods. That is not a common experience being GF.
Not only do the food and drinks deserve five stars; I would like to recognize the staff. One person that deserves honorable mention is Izzy. Over three years, Izzy has been my server on numerous occasions. Her kind and courteous nature leads me to request her as my server every time. She is very conscious of food allergies and takes them seriously. Thank you Izzy for making Plan B a place I always want to come back to!
A welcoming spot where you’ll feel like family, with daily specials and quick service that make every meal a delight for all ages.

Worth the wait! The best gluten free pancakes we have ever had. My boys and I have celiac and Ken and his team take extra care of ensuring there is no cross contamination. We all agreed that this was the best breakfast we have had on our east coast road trip. From the omelettes to the pancakes everything was top tier and Sue who waited on us has owned t

Food was fresh and flavorful as always! Love this place and will be back again. We travel from south windsor for their great food. I have a gluten allergy and they offer a large variety of options for me. See ya soon and keep up the great work!
This spot is a pizza lover’s paradise with standout options and unique takes like a hot honey eggplant sandwich that’s a bit messy but delicious.

We have ordered pizza here sevy times, tried some other stuff. Pork meatball apps were good. Gluten free pizza is decent (it is really tough to make a good GF pizza). Hot honey eggplant sandwich was good, but honey on the roll and very messy
Experience a cozy vibe with live music, flavorful eats, and a creative dessert menu that's sure to impress!

A solid option for me and my family members with severe gluten allergies. I wish their gluten free bun options were better and I don't personally eat their pizza - since, while it's a separate gluten free crust, it is cooked in the same brick oven. I also don't eat any of their fried options as last I checked with wait staff it was a shared fryer. I've found dinner here to be a more enjoyable experience for me- it always seems like there's more options that they can accommodate me with - plus the desserts are excellent.
A must-visit spot with an inviting vibe that’s consistently packed, making the wait worthwhile for a great overall experience!

We love Sayulia so much! Delicious food, service, and atmosphere! The workers are so nice and attentive. We've waited for an hour to be seated on a Tuesday, and 2.5 hours on a Friday, and it was worth it!!! We will always be prepared to wait! My boyfriend has Celiac and they have good gluten free options, and we've never had an issue where he had symptoms and we thought there was any cross contamination.
Get hooked on the breakfast sandwiches and divine iced coffee that keep people coming back for more!

By far some of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The gluten free buns are a lifesaver and the ice coffee is divine.
I crave their sandwiches until I get them again lol. This place is addicting and delicious!
This used to be my favorite pizza place for gluten free pizza.. now I’m so disappointed to say it’s a waste of money. This used to be our “splurge place” for pizza because it was more money but always delicious. I paid $50 for two of the smallest pizzas tonight. My gluten free pizza I ordered with marinated chicken on it and it was cold, overcooked and had BREADED CHICKEN on it. Why on earth would they put breaded chicken on a gluten free pizza???? I spent $27 on an over cooked pizza that I couldn’t even eat. Will not be retuning.
A hidden gem with a soothing atmosphere, offering a great selection for home brewing and a loyal fan base that keeps coming back for more.

My absolute number 1 place to go , to purchase a cup to drink, and beans to brew for home. I first discovered this gem by accident back in 2018, like a universal calling, life gifted me this experience and the pleasure to be a repeat customer for life. The staff are always pleasant and the atmosphere is soothing and calm. You really cant ask for more. And the food! Finally i found somewhere that has gluten and soy free options that dont rob the bank, or taste like trash. Another win!
When they started the shop in Colchester beginning of covid, i was so happy! A shop 5 mins from my job! How could i ask for anything more! But sadly, covid caught up, and closed alot of businesses down, expecially in that area, including this new brewery.
Even tbough i moved to NW CT now, I will continue my 1 1/2 hr drive to glastonbury for this experience and pleasure, its worth every mile. ♥️
Experience delicious meals and nostalgic flavors with a welcoming vibe that makes for a great family outing.

Our family just dined at Bertucci's for the first time in many years. We had stopped going when we found out members of our family needed to eat a gluten-free diet. We were delighted to find out that Bertucci's has some gluten-free options! The food was delicious, the salad just as good as I remember, and our service by our waitress Heather was absolutely fantastic! Our family will be back soon :)
Offering a unique blend of creative dishes and an art gallery, this spot is a must-visit for a vibrant dining experience.

This place rocks, the pizza by the slice was outstanding. My wife is gluten free which can be tricky but they whipped her up maybe the best gluten free buffalo chicken pizza ever created. We got a huge Cobb salad all the ingredients were fresh, the chicken was cooked perfect and the bacon was unreal, and to top it off we got wings which were, no surprise, fantastic.
Staff was great,
Place was clean,
Food was top tier,
Go eat!

We ordered heart-shaped pizzas and a salad for Valentine’s Day and they were absolutely delicious. Truly amazing toppings & crust is some of the best we’ve had. The owner and staff were so friendly. They even made my gluten free pizza heart shaped for me too which I really appreciated!
This place is a hard pass... First and last time there. My husband and I came in for breakfast. Every gluten free option had something fried. The taste of the food was watery with more lettuce as a garnish than anything else. Our server was very nice and had a positive morning attitude, but when I ordered hot tea she looked at me with a big question make on her face (tea is written on the menu) and then an older lady brought the mug over with hot water and when placing it on the table half of it spelt all over the table and she did nothing to clean it up, just walked away. Thankfully no hot tea water spelt on us.
With a ton of delicious and health-conscious options, this place is perfect for anyone seeking a satisfying and refreshing treat.

I absolutely love visiting Playa Bowls in Glastonbury, CT! It's a hit with my boys, especially the Nutella Açaí bowl, while I can't get enough of the Power Bowl. They're incredibly accommodating of our gluten and dairy sensitivities, making it a worry-free treat for us. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious and health-conscious options!
The sushi was well priced but the service wasn't great. I have food allergies and the server seemingly didn't process one of my allergies and ended up with a roll, it wasn't stated it had crunch, with gluten in it. I did get it corrected but had to get up several times because the server didn't frequent our table often. They may have been busy with a larger party but it was a so so first experience. Maybe on any other day with a better server I may have enjoyed it but got now, I'll wait to revisit.
You’ll find tasty offerings in convenient takeout, but the heavy use of disposables may not sit well with eco-conscious visitors.

I don’t usually eat at this place since I am plant based / GF and there are no options. However, in the month of August I went to the Hartford Baking CO Glastonbury branch to make a purchase for a patient. I purchased 2 loaves of their country sourdough bread. As I was paying, I mentioned to the cashier how sad it made me that they do not carry ANY options that would match my dietary restrictions. The girl kindly said that “they do offer a Gluten Free version of their country sourdough bread” as she handed it to me. I was stunned and asked again if she was 100% certain that bread was GF? She said “yes, absolutely”. I bought it and told her I’d be back for more. As I couldn’t be any happier, I told a few people around about this new discovery. The day later, as I was walking by the WeHa branch I decided to stop by and get some more. To my surprise, I was told that “country sourdough GF bread doesn’t exist”. I kindly mentioned that it does in the Glastonbury branch and that I purchased one a day earlier. A man approached the counter and he introduced himself as the supervisor for the Hartford area and he assured me there’s not such thing as GF bread in their stores. He treated me as I was crazy , let alone the fact that I was 9 months pregnant then and went to ask for a product that was sold to me at the offer location. And you would expect people to treat you nicer. Anyways, I left but was very upset at how I was treated. I called the Glastonbury branch right away and an employee took my name and promised a call back from the manager. Tracy, the manager, called weeks later. She had this attitude. I swear I could not believe this person. I kindly explained how I’m celiac, 9 months pregnant , broke into hives due to her employees negligence, and not only she did NOT apologize , she wanted to be right and make me believe this situation simply “didn’t happen”. That there’s no way someone would sell me a GF bread at their store etc etc. again. Basically told me I made the story up and was crazy. Just calling to complain for the sake of it … like I didn’t have more important things to do at 39 weeks pregnant. I understand mistakes do happen, but the inability of fixing them, or even apologizing it’s beyond my comprehension. Tracy talked on top of me and was extremely rude and condescending. I ended up hanging up and mentioned writing a review about the situation. Anyways, won’t ever step a foot again in these stores and spreading the experience around town as well. Very very disappointed!!!!
We love this place! I am gluten, dairy, and soy free, so literally the only thing on the menu that I can eat is the beef tips with a side of broccoli, but they are delicious - seasoned and cooked perfectly. My 10 month old daughter loved it as well and my 11 year old son always asks to come here.
