I originally had a very concerning experience here involving a gluten-free order that may have been incorrect, which is serious for anyone with allergies or sensitivities. However, after posting my review, the owner personally called me, sincerely apologized, and took full responsibility. He explained the situation, assured me they were taking steps to prevent it from happening again, and offered a complimentary return meal. I updated my review to reflect this exchange, and really appreciate the care that he took to make sure to make it right and to make us feel welcome and important at his restaurant.

V Pizza holds a special place in our hearts. Being gluten free I had given up on pizza until they said “try us” and now it’s our go to, but it’s so much more than just pizza! The service is amazing, in every single location! It feels like home from the friendly smiles to the food to the cocktails. Tonight was no exception, the holidays are so stressful and tonight I needed a night “off” we headed to Julep and Laurel was our amazing sweet server, we opted for the Grow a Pear cocktail and I had to pace myself, I could have finished this (and five more) in quick succession! Easily one of the best cocktails we’ve had there! Thank you V Pizza for EVERYTHING you do! Merry Christmas!

June 2025: I ordered via a delivery service. The only reason I’m knocking the food down to 4 stars is because I ordered the Mezze toast and it’s missing the sun dried tomatoes. I also ordered the protein toast on gluten free bread and it was delicious. The chocolate one protein smoothie also didn’t let me down. And the Cacao cashew milk, which come pre-made and so they’re pretty consistent with the flavoring on these milks and juices.

For us Gluten Sensitive folks, they have gluten-free dough. I got the Greekopolis Panino. (See pic) It was tasty. 😋 If I break out in the next 48 hours, I'll update my review. But for now, I am completely elated!

The staff were incredibly kind, attentive & accommodating! They were so sweet with our kids and went out of their way to change gloves & get me a fresh scooped ice cream from a separate area to avoid cross contamination. (I need to be gluten free) They also had dairy free gelato options. It was all delicious!

Giving it four stars only because the gluten free bread was an absolute mess to eat but in every other aspect, M Shack has great food and drinks. The atmosphere is calm, casual. The girl that helped me out was super patient, friendly and kind. I had told her it was my first time there and she suggested some items and answered all my questions. I’d definitely come back, and I totally recommend the banana shake

Loved it! Not only me, but the whole family loved it. Gluten-free for the wife and the kid menu satisfied my boys. Calamari is a must get and the signature soup was a hit as well! We will definitely bring back next time we are in town. Totally recommend!

Wonderful atmosphere, great tasting entrees, and very quick to get your food. I took a star off because they didn’t have any allergen or spice level information on the menu, causing you to guess or talk to a wait staff. When we did, we found they didn’t know and we even had a miscommunication about it that left me feeling like I was asking too much. The manager later cleared it up. He also said “most dishes can be made (gluten) free”. That’s great! But would have liked to not go through the process we had to do to find out. Two other tables were talking about gluten free, so this is a common thing they must go through.

My husband and I go to Anejo all the time for dinner and always have a great experience! We talked to the manager Claudia about catering for our baby shower and she so helpful and offered some great ideas! She made the process very easy and even helped me with some gluten free options! The food and drinks were amazing and we had so many compliments at the shower on how delicious everything was! Amazing job to Claudia and her team at Anejo! Thank you!!
