Really enjoyed our late lunch at Ed's Burger Joint in Hattiesburg!! Fun atmosphere. Food was great!! Ed's has gluten free options which accommodated my husband's Celiac Disease. Special care was given to assure no cross contamination!

Please take items that aren't gluten-free OFF the gluten-free menu. It's unacceptable to rely on a staff member catching the mistake after already ordering & informing the customer verbally that the potatoes on your GF menu are not actually made in a gluten-free manner. We ordered these in past visits off the GF menu and NOBODY SAID A WORD. THIS time, after the manager came over to explain the situation, he admitted, "we should probably take it off the menu, but we fry the potatoes in oil we re-use for other food that's not gluten-free. Usually people who order off that menu are doing gluten-free as a trend and don't actually have an allergy but yes, that would affect someone with Celiac"...???? THAT'S WILD. DON'T say your menu is gluten-free and operate with the assumption that the people ordering off that menu don't actually need it or are just being trendy. It makes customers suspicious about everything else on your menu and makes people with Celiac disease, wheat allergies, and gluten sensitivity feel unsafe eating here. If a menu says "gluten-free" instead of "gluten-friendly," that means INCLUDING no cross-contamination. Also, it's standard practice in most restaurants to have COMPLETELY SEPARATE cookware and oils for preparing gluten-free or allergen-free meals without cross-contaminating anything. And you're NOT doing that?

It was an oddly shaped tiny little place. However, the gluten-free options were very good. I'd say everything we had was good. Eggs, Pancakes, gluten free were very Good. The fruity lemonade, drinks were good. The bacon was good Two of us preferred the crispy version and it was good.One of us liked floppy bacon, and she loved it. The grits were okay in my opinion & needed salt desperately, so I fixed that. & they were a little thick for me, but my cousin loved them. All in all, it was great. I took one star off of atmosphere because of how tiny and cramped feeling the place was, but the actual atmosphere and attitude was amazing. Our waitress Carley ( I don't know if that's how you spell it or not) was very good too!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Chicken Salad Chick!!! Need I say any more!! Ate at CSC 2 times this trip bc we don't have a CSC close to us in KY. I love the Classic Carol chicken salad. My husband likes the Dixie Chick chicken salad. Love the grape salad and the broccoli salad! Chicken Salad Chick also can accommodate my husband's Celiac Disease. We've eaten at several different CSC locations... we've never been disappointed!!

Waiter Michael was irritated from the moment I walked in. I came in for the first time ever to meet with friends. He asked what I wanted to drink, came back and I asked politely if I could have a menu and he was visibly irritated by that request. Upon asking my friends who got there before me, he was fine and then became rude when my friend asked if there was a gluten free menu due to her allergies. Very unfortunate. I was excited to try the food but ended up just getting a salad so I could get out of there

My wife enjoys the gluten-free options here and their protocol for handling allergy alerts. Be sure to tell the cashier if you have a gluten allergy. The food is usually quite good, but I was a bit disappointed with mine on this recent visit. The quesadilla seemed a bit bland compared to my earlier visit.

The only thing that would make my visits better is offering a gluten free side dish without charging full price. If I can’t eat the “free” fries could I get a discount on another side or offer a gluten free substitution for free? Food is excellent, service is great!

It's very difficult to find a really good "Gluten Free" pizza, but Pyro's nailed it!! The girl serving us changed her gloves, and did everything right! The pizza was absolutely delicious. My wife and I live 1.5 hours away, and it would be worth the drive, just for a Pyro pizza!!

Decent food, gluten free options, and a convenient location. But they have a tendency to get your order wrong. If you let them know, they're always good about fixing it with no charge, but still. Also, it's about as white as fresh milk, definitely has some mild snobby vibes. It's a church crowd place.

This is our go-to pizza place! I've got a ton of restrictions because of allergies, so ordering out is always a struggle.. But I'm able to get my gluten free, dairy free pizza here with no trouble and it's delicious! Staff is always super friendly and service is quick.

The staff is always so friendly and I haven’t had anything from there that I haven’t loved. The juices, smoothies, coffees and toasts are all so fresh and delicious. As a vegan with a gluten intolerance, this is the best place in Hattiesburg for me.

Today my boss got some of us in the office food from here. & I'm here to tell you that food is AMAZING! I tried their grilled chicken with avocado sandwich on a wheat bun. For my first gluten meal in a while I was in heaven. YUMMY! if your looking for something semi light this is the way to go.

I have celiac disease so I have to watch what I order. I made an order through DoorDash, and an employee at Insomnia had to call about my order and making a change. I informed her of this and opted to have icing. I received another callback notifying me that none of their icing is gluten free. I have never had someone got out of the way for this! Props to this employee! It may seem small, but it really meant a lot because I could have gotten really sick!

We were visiting family in town. Wanted some good hibachi. Was not disappointed. Food was delicious and the chefs show was great. Very funny. Also the staff knows the menu. Gluten allergy. They cooked the food in back in safe environment. Food was delicious. Had gluten-free soy sauce. Very impressed.

Great little spot! We have been here both times that we've been down to Mississippi to visit family and have been delighted each time. The cafe serves really fresh and flavorful salads, the sandwiches are pretty amazing as well, and yesterday I had a gluten-free scone that was super tasty. They also make a great chai latte and regular latte, plus the Barista and servers are all really friendly and the food comes out really quick for being so fresh. If you also happen to be in the mood for some music or music paraphernalia, the store side has an impressive selection.

This was my first time at this Newk's and it was a very good experience. The young lady at the counter taking the order did a great job of informing me about items on her menu. I picked the gluten free pizza and I will say it was great. I can't wait to visit again. I will get the same thing it was so good.

They have good gluten free options (most of their meats if not all) and the food is great. They smoke and barbecue their own meats and you can tell the difference. Highly recommend eating here the food and atmosphere are both amazing.

I only ever had one bad experience and it was one worker in particular that got an order wrong, and got all kinds of attitude when I said that it wasn’t what I ordered after she repeated it back, and said yes “yes it is what you ordered” and refused to change it, and behold the order was wrong… but the manager handled it professionally and apologized and gave a refund as well as made what we ordered in the first place and it was hot and delicious. That was probably a year ago and like I said, before that we have never had an issue and ever since there has never been an issue with not getting what we ordered with exceptional service, presentation, and very minimal wait times. Even as someone that has to get the gluten-free crust, I’ve never had an issue and will continue to support this local store.

Amazing modern, upscale restaurant in downtown with amazing staff, fantastic drinks and delicious multi course meals that also include modified gluten free dishes for every course. The entire staff are top notch! Very friendly, attentive waiters and bartender and everyone is committed to creating a great experience for patrons, from start to finish. The manager was super friendly and made sure we enjoyed our meal and our visit. The building and ambience reminds us of New Orleans and includes a beautiful garden outside and inside gorgeous decor, jazz and deco art, beautiful chandeliers and place settings. Really enjoyed our time here and a must visit while visiting Hattiesburg, Mississippi!

Great breakfast spot and fast service. Had a variety of things to eat for gluten free and dairy free folks. Accommodating to allergy needs! We had a party of 5 adults and 2 children. We arrived around 9AM on Saturday morning during football season (no USM game in town either) our wait was about 20 minutes.

We used to live outside NYC where we had authentic Italian food and the best pizza. Mario's is exactly how we remember it. The garlic knots- mouth watering, marinara sauce is to die for- pizza like NY or NJ. Also, one member of our party has celiacs, the wait staff, Mario and the kitchen staff knew how to make sure she did not get any gluten or cross contamination. She had a grilled chicken over crouton-less ceasar. The chicken wasn't a piece of frozen chicken thrown on a grille. It was fresh and cooked to perfection. What a wonderful find.
