Fallon did an amazing job on our wedding cake! I had always envisioned a tiered wedding cake, but was so worried I would have to choose between the look I had my heart set on and being able to actually eat my own wedding cake. Thank goodness we found Fallon! Not only was the cake stunning but it tasted AMAZING! Even our gluten-eating family said it was some of the best cake they’d ever had; my mom says she dreams about the dairy-free frosting! Fallon, thank you so much for making my wedding cake dreams come true!

I already love this cafe, but we did a pickup order for 7 sandwiches to take over to my older brother and his wife who just had a baby for a fam lunch. There was a mixup with the online ordering because they closed for a private event at noon and we had placed the order for a 12:15 pickup. They still honored our order and started making our food for us when we got there. Cannot wait to keep giving this cafe my business!! Also really appreciate the gluten free options!!

The best gluten free pizza I have ever had!!! My family also enjoys their regular pizza pies. The salads are exceptional and far superior to most pizza places. Loads of excellent drink choices and some nice treat options as well. In addition, it’s a lovely place to enjoy a wait service meal. The wait staff is always on point.

I live in West Chester and, as a celiac( severe gluten intolerance ) have about 4 options to eat out at. Ate here yesterday, got the GF truffle mushroom flatbread and GF pasta. The bartender (I sat at the bar to dine for lunch) was so knowledgeable when I asked "what GF items on your menu are celiac friendly?" All pasta dishes could be subbed out with GF penne. The bartender explained breaded chicken could be grilled, etc. it was really nice and reassuring to have such a knowledgeable restaurant staff member to accommodate my questions and dietary needs. For the pizza, The bartender explained that the pizzas do share an oven, but the gluten-free pizzas are put on a grate to elevate them and separate utensils are used for handling. I was a little uncertain about this but ordered anyway. Unfortunately the pasta dish was bland and not really seasoned (which is common with GF stuff). I wish the mushrooms on the flatbread were a little more sauteed, but great presentation. I did not feel any side effects from potentially being glutened. 4 stars for the bartender's knowledge. Anywhere you go, do not assume GF labels mean celiac friendly. You have to ask!

The food here is PHENOMENAL. Best in West Chester, hands down. Awesome brunch choices and gluten free options! The service was friendly and fast. The atmosphere is cute and laid back. I definitely recommend the parmesan truffle fingerlings. SO good. We will definitely beeline for this spot when we’re back in the area.

This was a great find. We spent the day at Longwood Gardens and had made reservations here for a big group. Food was great! Everyone was happy with their food. Lots of gluten-free options. I always feel bad that there are only a few options, while the rest of us have a big menu to choose from. While the food was great, the whole experience was better, because the person in our group with celiac was able to have lots of choices and enjoy their meal. I do have to mention that we all love Italian food and some of the best "Italian" cooks I know were in my party, and we were all pleased with our meals and appetizers. That's saying a lot. I would definitely go back if I'm in the area.

We just had a delightful time eating at Opa Taverna in West Chester, PA. It was her first time eating at their restaurant. The staff was very helpful and guided my wife in customizing a gluten-free meal and the food was delicious!

Their cake is amazing, but they are really, really, really difficult to work with. The only reason we ended up moving forward with our wedding cake from here is because it was included in the price of our venue. Amazing tasting gluten and dairy free options, but really short with answers, unclear communication about what's included in certain packages, and overall just a very unpleasant experience. Likely won't be getting any cakes from them in the future.

Very nice place to go with a large group & our server, Alecia (?) Was very thorough with helping our party with food allergies and gluten free foods. Was my first time here but other family members said they've always enjoyed their food whatever they order. Looking forward to trying it again soon with my husband & kids!

I live in West Chester and love it here! We know most of the bartenders and some servers well. They have a rotating specials menu and it is one of the places I am eat because I am celiac. They have labeled GF stuff on their menu but they don't hesitate to modify a dish with GF requests. For example, there was a fried chicken, burrata, jersey tomato and peach dish with croutons and peaches and cream vinaigrette. I asked the bartenders to sub out the fried chicken for their blackened chicken and no croutons to make the dish celiac friendly. The kitchen was able to accommodate my request and it was great! I also get their nachos, fries (dedicated fry only fryer), cheeseburger with GF bun or blackened chicken sandwich with extra cooper sharp, lettuce, tomato with fries with GF bun or long roll. Recommend!

Very accommodating to gluten free requests - the mushroom soup and short rib tacos are delicious. Pet friendly with covered patio and heater - a great stop for our road trip with pets. Service was very good as well.

Thanks to the manager Danielle, who let our friend who has celiac disease order off the regular menu during the limited menu hours! They have many gluten free options, including buns. I will say that the vegan options here aren’t great at all. Ordinarily I would give 3 stars for the vegan options (as my boyfriend and I are vegan)... you’re pretty much limited to hummus—even then you have to special order it without cheese! However we were very happy with the service! Thanks Danielle!

Wonderspot in a cute quiet neighborhood downtown with easy street parking (paid). The cappuccino was excellent, the gluten free fig and Brie toast was phenomenal. A great start to the morning, meeting a friend!

My sister and I made an impromptu visit to Taco Mar today. We were just looking for a spot to grab a quick bite. We were blown away by not only thee amaaaazing tacos (we tried the shrimp and also the baja tacos) but also the outstanding service! We now love this place! 💗 They even helped my sister with figuring out the best options for how her gluten sensitivities. The entire staff was just so pleasant, attentive, and accommodating! We'll be bringing our youngest sister back with us next time lol. She'll love this spot. I would recommend this spot 100x over. VISIT TACO MAR! 🙌🏽

We’ve always liked eating here and doing takeout. But a special shout out to this restaurant for accommodating gluten free patrons!! My son is newly diagnosed with celiac disease, and this is one of the very few places where he does not get sick on their gluten-free accommodations. He gets the spicy tuna roll without the crunch. And they label the gluten-free soy sauce for him.

I hosted my wife's birthday party here and they knocked it out of the park. There were 8 of us and the worst thing about the whole night was that the specials sounded so good, but there were too many. There were so many we couldn't remember them. The service was wonderful and the meals were outstanding! I had the seared scallops to start and they were AWESOME! Seriously, I wanted to lick the bowl the red pepper sauce was so good. The Ama Caesar was a hit as well and my wife raved about the mushroom soup. They made me a gluten free version of one of the specials that was an incredible seafood filled pasta. Others at the table raved about the chicken parm, risotto porcini, and the short ribs (I think) looked amazing too. The portions were large, but not crazy. We even had some room for their excellent desserts. Our server had to deal with multiple food allergies and did an amazing job. My favorite thing was she didn't just guess, she asked the kitchen and gave us answers. I loved every minute of our meal. Will definitely return when back in the area. If you're in West Chester don't skip because it's just 15 minutes outside town. BYOB is also a nice thing. HIGHLY recommend!

Food is good but portions were a little small for the prices. French fries in our Calamari appetizer little odd and makes us think same fryer used (heads up gluten free crowd) and curious how clean kitchen is managed. We put 1:30 in meter and should have added more time since order placed to food on table was took 40 minutes. Main course came out warm although odd to have a half scallop (claimed they gave us extra 3.5 vs 3).

Hands down the best gluten free pizza in Chester County. Owner's wife has celiac so he took the time to get the crust correct and makes it perfect. Lots of places offer gf pizza, and its just some pre-made cardboard they will half heat up for you and serve soggy - not Pizza Peddler, it is the same delicious crispiness that everyone loves about pizza.

Ground Provisions was excellent. Their gluten-free substitutions were as delicious and as incredibly creative as the standard offerings. Our server Brooke was fantastic, and the atmosphere was perfect. If you haven’t gone, go. It was so nice to have such a unique, and special dining experience!

Great food and the real candlelight adds a pleasant ambiance. Friendly staff and accommodating to dietary requests. Thank you for always having a gluten free pasta option! The only area that needs some improvement is the service (shorten the wait times for getting orders and make sure to check on the table throughout the meal). We skipped dessert only due to the fact that the meal took over 2 hours from when we sat down to when our leftovers were boxed up.

Awesome place if you are into juice or smoothies. You can order and pick up inside or out. They also do Mexican food but I cannot speak to the quality of it as it isn't a gluten free friendly menu.

By far the best breakfast place! The avocado toast is heavenly. Freshly squeezed orange juice. The bagel is crisp on the outside and chewy inside. Staff remember us and are always warm and cheerful. And they have gluten-free bread!

Donuts are good but are very pricey. The donuts are certainly good and yummy but based on the price and size of the donuts there isn’t much value. For the price of two mini-donuts you can get three full size ones from other bakeries in the area. That said there are several Gluten Free options here that many stores don’t offer and the donuts themselves are fresh and moist. Staff was very helpful

We hired Southbound BBQ Company for our wedding on 9/25 for about 70 people. Through the whole process Brad was incredibly responsive and professional. I knew from our first email correspondence he was the right pick. He put us at ease and worked with us to create a wonderful wedding menu. I have celiac disease and he made sure to work with me to make sure that we had a menu that would be safe for me to eat as well as please all our guests. We had passed appetizers and served our dinner out of the food truck. Everyone raved about the food! Even our other vendors were asking about where we found Southbound. All and all Brad and his team made for a great wedding and I would not hesitate to book them again for another event!

BBQ......... You are now entering THE SOUTH!!! ( It's right next to the Dunkin Donuts in West Chester, Great Pumpkin, and Capriotti's) Someone recommend this place a few days ago and I was a bit leary because I spend summers down south and am pretty picky when it comes to BBQ and Southern style food. I wanted to order and help out because before Friday they had been struggling like many small local businesses have been and just reopened Friday. They definitely need community support through this !! Ordered over phone. Super friendly and you could tell busy. Easy pick up... Pull up, call back to tell them you are there and they bring it out curbside ! The food ... Anyone who frequents down South knows they pride themselves on their BBQ. And yes up here it's hard to find true Southern bbq and food. Well, Mabel's nailed it ! I don't know Mabel or if she is from the South but her food screams authentic and dedication. Anyone who really loves BBQ knows that it takes TIME. A lot of places rush good food and good takes TIME to get flavors like this. You will taste it the minute you bite into any of her food. The bbq chicken has flavor all the way through. The baked beans have a smokey kick, maybe peppers ? But the best baked beans I've ever had in my life !! Sweet potatoes that are like my Mom's !!! Corn bread, Cole slaw, hush puppies, brisket, Mac and cheese and more! Some of the things I couldn't try because I can't do gluten but the rest my family raves about !!!!!! My 11 year old LOVES hush puppies and said they were REALLY GOOD!! If you love barbeque... Help this place out !! They have taken the time to do southern food right and you will definitely be back ! Thanks Kevin Schmied for giving the thumbs up ! You were right !!! Best place BY FAR!! I believe they are open Friday through Sunday 2-7. Not sure during this if they have changed so be sure to call and check. And please don't forget to tip!! These staff members are hustling and exhausted... Make sure they know you appreciate them too :)
