nicely decorated and set up, good service from the staff. But the food was far from good. We had a set meal for 3 of us. it came with the smallest chapati I've ever seen (the size of a good biscuit) and there were 2 of them for 3 people. small portions. the starter was inedible and i eat anything and everything. Mains were watery in consistency.
The only large portion was a potatoes dish. I don't go to an Indian restaurant for potatoes.
Everything is gluten free, great if you can't tolerate it so maybe that's why the dishes didn't do it for me in the taste department.
Soda water very expensive, same as a coke.
Surprised there are so many top reviews. so guess its just me!
This spot is a pizza paradise with endless customizable topping options and a lively atmosphere, perfect for gatherings and celebrations!

We hadn't booked on a Saturday night but were able to sit outside. Glad we did, the pizza was amazing, mine waa gluten free and was soft and seemed freshly made, usually they are prepared and crispy. Served by Ellie who was spot on, friendly and helpful. Good spot for people watching and having a meal before a show.
Great vibes and a fun atmosphere set the stage for a memorable dining experience with an array of tasty options and perfect tunes.

Been wanting to visit here for some time, finally made it and it does not disappoint. Very busy, extremely popular (for good reason), and dog friendly too. I was fortunate and managed to get a table early afternoon on a Saturday, but quite a few folk had to be turned away as no tables free. Young, efficient and very friendly, charming team work here. The menu changes every day, so you need to check their website in order to see what to order - there are no printed menus on the tables for this reason. Lots of innovative choices for vegetarians and vegans and gluten free options available as well. I had a rhubarb kombucha and was slightly disappointed that it was a bottled one, had expected it to have been homemade. That minor point aside, I found the food and service to be outstanding. The mixed greens with sunflower crunch was tasty, though it took some chomping through. Now then.... the smashed potatoes... d.i.v.i.n.e!!! Good portion. Smashed Maris Bard spuddies with garlic salt and gochujang mayo. Most excellent and so, so moreish. I toyed with the notion of treacle tart for pud, but was slightly hesitant due to its £7.50 price tag. The table next to me ordered one. I did order it in a moment of spontaneity and, oh my word, I am so glad that I did. Supremely marvelous, out of this world delicious. Worth visiting Leeds for that alone. Tasty as, melt in the mouth, gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Treacle tart, crystallised ginger and vegan cardamom custard. Oh, folks, if this is on the menu when you visit, you must try it. I can still taste it now. I'd like one of these every day!! Quelle pigess, heh heh. Has products for sale too. 10 stars easy peasy. Utterly highly recommended. Brilliant. Definitely coming back here.
Discover a spot in Leeds for mouthwatering smash burgers with standout flavor combos, bottomless drinks, and a unique lunch box deal.

We loved our experience, the Murder on the Midnight Express was such a great concept and having to solve the murder with each course coming with a clue was so fun and added an extra layer to the meal. The meal itself was delicious, we enjoyed every course, and I myself am gluten free and they did an amazing job at making it easy for me. Our server was Grace and she was absolutely lovely, really on the ball and gave us a great experience (was even better when we got chatting about our love for cats!). The only thing I would say is that the music was way too loud and booming, the club style music just didn’t add to the atmosphere and was uncomfortable to sit through. Otherwise the experience was perfect, and we’ll definitely be back, especially if they have another interactive meal! Thank you all!

As a gluten free vegan with other allergies I emailed Fat Annie’s before visiting and James sent a really lovely email reply suggesting what I could eat and also to ask on the day to double check with staff.
On arrival James was super friendly and alterations to my order were made with absolutely no bother at all and didn’t make me feel like a burden which happens 90% of the time to me.
Then the food arrived…. I cannot put into words how incredible the Hula Burger was. I almost cried! I have never tasted such great vegan food. Very single bite was savoured. If I hadn’t been so full I’d have eaten another! Whether you are vegan or not this is THE place to eat in Leeds. 😍

Terrible experience from lack of flavour food to the awful service from Josh the assistant Man...
Aug 2024
My wife and I take a date night/ day each month as we have a hectic life with work and 7 year old little girl.
Yesterday we wanted to travel up to leeds from Derby to enjoy a Virgin holiday gift voucher that, I bought for my wife for Xmas.
The start of our experience and Brasserie Blanc Leeds, was as expected good.
Helpful as my wife is Gluten and dairy intolerant. (Unfortunately not loads on the menu for choice, however ran through the options).
THATS when our experience and day got RUINED!
The waiter came across and asked how the meal was, I had mentioned that mine wasn't great (king prawns) however had eaten it as l was starving (I had been up since 3am and had a yogurt, whilst traveling).
The prawns were over cooked and dry and the main was under seasoned.
The assistant manager Josh came over and asked also, I mentioned it to him and said I don't want to complain it's just my personal opinion and my wife's was like a watery broth that also lacked flavour.
Response was excuses instead of trying to help. I had made a comment that Greggs would have more flavour.
After 30 minutes no one came over to take our deserts order. Josh made every effort not to come over to us.
Which we got up and left and gave Josh the voucher.
As we were leaving a lady did come out to apologise and Josh stood at the door. l asked why he didn't come over and said I thought you had been served as the menus were not in the table, I mentioned you had been serving us this afternoon and knew I didn't enjoy my main meal.
More excuses came out. God awful customer service!
As we were walking away Josh made a flippant remark "enjoy your Greggs!" This is shameful and uncalled for! Appalling behaviour that I wouldn't expect!
Me and my family went here for the last dinner of their visit, and were very pleased with both the entertainment the cooking provided, and the heavenly taste the food had. Gluten free food was prepared in a very safe and clean order as well, so I as a coeliac had a good experience here. Only minus I would say is the air quality in the restaurant as smoke from the cooking was quite heavy, but I would expect this to only affect astmathics etc., and the place is hard to access for disabled people.
Celebrations thrive here, with a lively atmosphere and memorable performances adding to the experience!

I had a fantastic time celebrating mine and a friends 60th birthdays. The first time I have been but am sure it won't be the last.
Having coeliac disease is always a worry when eating out, from my initial phone conversation to being served on the evening we went I felt completely at ease. Food was delicious and the evening was topped off with the amazing Overtones.

We’re always very conscious of booking fine dining restaurants due to my gluten intolerance so always check ahead of time as we understand adapting a set tasting menu can be difficult however - V&V is marketed as gluten intolerant friendly, and I’d suggest this is not quite the case if you’re expecting a GF menu of the same standard as the original.
We were served the second course first without communication that we weren’t going to be getting the first(?!) the bread course was quite clearly shop bought Genius (or similar) bread which is the spongiest and blandest on the market. Dishes skipped the sauce due to the ingredients having gluten in, which made them also bland. Most courses lacked the element of having ingredients you wouldn’t expect to go together, work and therefore wow you which you’d expect for an almost Michelin star priced menu.
The good parts!! We had a dish swapped out due to the restrictions and were given a Thai-style peanut/coriander/courgette/lychee plate which had the experimental/imaginative Michelin quality described above - please put this on the regular menu! The final dessert was prepared/developed by one of the other chefs and it was absolutely beautiful - crumbed carrot cake and chocolate mousse (this was the winner).
The service was great, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Tableware and crockery for each dish were at the standard you’d expect for fine dining and a lovely touch. I personally loved the atmosphere, the playlist was fun and created a great vibe.
Overall as someone with dietary restrictions I won’t be returning, however my experience is not the norm, so I wouldn’t take this as gospel if you are not the same.

Fantastic pizza, loads of buffalo mozzarella on top of a gorgeous tomato sauce. The salad was crisp & fresh. Better than the pizza I had in Las Vegas! The chef even rustled up a gluten free base for me. Will defo be eating here again.
Great steaks and wonderful service especially from our very knowledgeable waiter Ben. Great knowledge of gluten free cross contamination. Expensive but worth every penny
Loved the atmosphere, great prices and attentive staff! Ordered a platter to share with friends and the food was divine. Were very accommodating to my dietary requirements - had gluten free crackers separately for me!
Thoroughly enjoyed trip. Fantastic food lots of veggie/vegan and gluten free options. Lovely staff. We went for the 2 course for £20 deal and it was extremely good value for money.
An amazing vegan paradise with a diverse menu offering unique dishes that are sure to delight anyone craving plant-based goodness.

For me as a vegan, this place is incredible! A big vegan menu with loads of options of food I've never had before. Absolute heaven.
For my gluten free partner it's a little bit more complicated. Staff was keen to help but it didn't seem 100% clear what wasn't and wasn't gluten free. He did end up with a tasty meal though. They have gluten free soy sauce available if you ask for it. Fine for people with some intolerance, but probably not recommended for celiacs.
Great atmosphere and service. All the staff were really friendly and nothing was too much. Loads of gluten free food available and it was all handled carefully. 10/10
