We have had a number of enjoyable evenings here. The food isn’t 5 star, but they don’t charge 5 star prices! I think there is a good selection, and it always tastes good. Also cater for Gluten Free which is a life saver when you are a coeliac. The staff are never short of amazing, Milly and Sam are both stars and that’s just to name two. All in all, I’d happily recommend the Brache. 😊

This another visit to Papa’j’s I missed grilled salmon and Cod Fish from the menu. Excellent food and great service! Menu has many allergens listed, which was handy as someone with celiac. Great elegant atmosphere so quick response by staff fast deliver food

Had a lovely meal tonight and we were a picky group consisting of two vegans, a veggie and a gluten free. They couldn’t have been more helpful! I’ve been coming here for over 37 years it’s still my favourite Chinese restaurant in Luton (perhaps anywhere!) Food was delicious and they are doing a really competitive deal on the A la carte menu so was very pleasantly surprised at the bill too!

Lovely traditional Italian restaurant. I visited here for a friend's birthday over 10 years ago, and it was lovely then. I went last night for my wife and I's 6 months anniversary. We both had a starter. Mine was the fried calamari, which was very fresh and tender. My wife had the breaded mushrooms with pate inside. I tried a bit, and it was lovely. I will say there was no pizza's on the menu, which was a good thing because there are so many pizza restaurants if that's what you want. The menu had a wide variety of dishes, including vegetarian options, and I think I overheard on another table that some dishes were gluten-free too. I ordered the seafood linguine and her the steak in brandy glacé sauce. My linguine was a lovely big portion with langoustines, mussels, and other seafood, all cooked in a lovely garlic sauce. My wife ordered a medium steak that was melt in the mouth with a lovely sauce. We ordered a side order of brocoli, but it probably would have been better to get the mixed vegetables as they came with sautéed potatoes, which would have gone well with the steak. Also, I should have ordered some bread to mop up both of our great sauces. The desert was tiramisu and a mint ice cream chocolate bomb. Both lovely. All washed down with a bottle of pilot grigio blush and a hot drink for afters. The staff were friendly, the washrooms clean and well kept. The ambience was just right. There was background Italian music, which was there but not too loud. We were really happy with everything and we won't wait over 10 years to come here again

I was impressed at how seriously they took our allergies - gluten, dairy & tomatoes. Friendly atmosphere. Free Available parking. Spacious interior. Delicious food & serve Halal too; Whole chicken regular combination (medium spice) with 2 sides (chips & spicy rice) with another large chips & large sweet potato wedges. Please note that the sweet potato wedges portion is not enough for 2 people as advertised though.

Absolutely delicious. The food was really nice and the staff were so friendly. If we lived nearer we would visit all the time. They have an excellent selection of gluten free curries. I had a gluten free tom kha and long song creamy peanut curry, both of which were fab. Thanks for accommodating us late and at short notice. A+++++

We have been coming here for very many years and I can say without reservation that this is a great family run and good value for money Italian Restaurant with a good selection of Pizza and Pasta dishes as well as meat, fish as well as Gluten Free options and Vegetarian/Pescatarian options, Michael, Agnes and family always go the extra mile and offer fast, friendly service at all times, make sure you book though as walk ins at busy times are not always possible! Give this honest little place a go, because after more than 29yrs loyal and friendly service, you can’t go wrong!

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and it was a good choice with really excellent food, which was reasonably priced, and delightful friendly staff. There was a wide choice on the menu and they were knowledgeable about what was gluten free. My only 'criticism' was that the portions were enormous! I certainly wouldn't have had a starter if I had known as it was the size I would have had for a main meal, and my main meal was easily enough to feed two people. Even my husband, who can eat a lot, was defeated. Fortunately the lovely waitress gave me a take away carton so I could take the rest of my meal away to eat the next day. I hate waste!! I shall know what to order the next time and will certainly return. Highly recommended.

Gluten-free Muffins available BUT some of the younger ladies didn’t listen to me properly when taking my order! Both served me a muffin that contained gluten & left so another employee had to fix the mistake! The staff is polite except for these two ladies, one always gives me a big fake smile and her attitude is not acceptable. Often the muffins are just dry or you see a bit of fruit on top but there’s little to nothing of fruits in the muffins especially the strawberry ones are often just dough and two 2 slices of strawberry on top!

In the local area needing something gluten free and glad I visited, asked for gluten free base and stressed to the staff please do everything you can to prevent contact contamination, they reassured me they would clean the work area before making my pizza. Don't know what the do differently at this store but it's better than other Domino's I've eaten from.

A fab meal in Luton. Great flavours, good portions and cater well for gluten free. Wish they could have bread though for the mussels. Seafood pasta was amazing!

I ordered a gluten free pizza and half the pizza was uncooked with unmelted cheese, I also found a hair in my pizza. Today I tried giving them another chance but they disappointed me again as I had ordered 3 pizzas for a birthday party and I was told I did not place my order and I was called a liar by the staff, the staff are also very disrespectful and I do not recommend ordering from here

Love this place, food, service is all on point. A hidden gem for celiac's or gluten intolerance. Added bonus it's bring your own alcohol with a off license next door.

Me and my husband tried out La Taverna today. It was absolutely delicious! They have lots of vegan and gluten free options. Very clued up and even open to suggestions for other vegan items that they could add to the menu. Reasonably priced too and you can opt for takeaway. Food was made fresh while we waited. We can’t wait to visit again!
