Excellent service and food. Nothing was too much trouble. We had allergies and intolerance issues to take care of.
They catered for nut allergy and gluten, Dairy intolerance without a single problem.
Charming café nestled in a village, offering a spacious garden and relaxed vibes, perfect for enjoying a cozy meal on a sunny day.

Superb friendly tea room
with spacious outdoor area (sun or shade availabl) We ordered a gluten free toastie (the bread is very good)came with coleslaw and side salad, a non GF scampi peas & chips (main meal size) a raspberry loaf cake (GF) bottle of still water and two bottles of peroni was £35 and very delicious! The wait staff are great nothing too much trouble and the host julie was very friendly and helpful. As a celiac it is hard to find good homemade food so was a lovely treat
Enjoy a lively atmosphere with a diverse menu featuring unique vegetarian and vegan curry options, plus a bring-your-own-booze vibe.

A bustling curry house with many dishes including old favourites and clearly marked gluten free and vegan dishes on the menu. Bring your own booze makes it less costly. Food was quite reasonable though I found the veggie Pakora a little dry (menu description sounded nicer) and my veggie Dhansak could have been more spicy though had good chunky veggies and large lentils plus also pineapple (I prefer more emphasis on lemon and no pineapple chunks but know this is controversial!). A portion of rice was fine to share. The starters were all brought out on a hot plate to serve though I would recommend not doing this where guests suffer allergies since cross contamination will be an issue. Friendly service, not too slow despite it being a busy Saturday night. There was free parking on the road.
Quaint and cozy spot with a charming vibe, featuring lovely decor and a few outdoor benches, perfect for a quick coffee break.

Small and cosy, some seats inside and a bench outside. Very pleasant service and accommodating with dietary restrictions (gluten free options on cakes and also gluten free bread for sandwiches available on request) Doesn’t have bathrooms but only a few steps away from the bus station and public conveniences.
Experience a renowned breakfast spot in the Peak District where climbing legends love to gather, plus a shop for adventurers just below!

Cafe good, service is quick. A decent choice on the menu. Only issue I am gluten free due to coeliac allergy. They don't have any gluten free bread . Despite the petrol station about 40 steps from the kitchen selling Schar gluten free bread which is very good.
Quaint and welcoming spot with cozy rooms, lovely outdoor space, great views, and nearby walking paths for exploring the beautiful Peak District.

A friendly, genuine pub with warm, comfortable rooms, plenty of hot water, a hairdryer (no use for my scalp) and decent WiFi plus plenty of parking. The owners go out of their way to help you enjoy your stay. Not loads going on in Bradwell but some nice pubs and just a 40min walk on a footpath to Castleton via the cement works (mostly quite pleasant, honest!) if you want to avoid parking problems there (also a bus but we didn’t try this). Wish we had noticed the brewery (Intrepid) on the road north from Bradwell. Food is quite reasonable with a couple of gluten free options and just the one vegan option. Our friends found their lasagne was a bit tepid (nothing a microwave wouldn’t sort out but they didn’t want to ask). Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order and Samantha was able to cater for our various dietary requirements (I loved the oatcakes and there is also gluten free toast, etc). Good coffee and also some cereal/fruit juice available (oat milk on request). Lovely outside area for when it does eventually warm up and dry out! I forgot to mention we didn’t need our room cleaning (who needs towels and sheets changed every day?) so suggested making this optional at check in would reduce cost and resources used. Overall an excellent place to stay in the Peak District as well as visit for a meal and refreshment!
