So good! As someone with celiac disease (gluten), this place was phenomenal! I had bruschetta and pasta!!! It's so amazing. I will be coming back. Loved this place. Separate GF menu, options on menu say "sub gluten free pasta / crust," for example.
With a cozy vibe and curated cheese boards, this spot is all about unique flavors and an awesome atmosphere perfect for a chill hangout.

This place was excellent. They not only have amazing cheese and wine options but you can get sandwiches and mac and cheese which can come gluten free. It's the first time since being diagnosed with Celiac I had mac and cheese which was so delicious. Our server was fantastic and knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend and go back if we are up that way.
Experience a cozy spot with unique antique decor and a reputation for amazing service, perfect for a family outing.

Had the most wonderfully helpful and kind waiter (Angelo) who gave me information on their gluten friendly options and recommend the Chicken Marsala with gluten friendly noodles. I have never had a better gluten friendly pasta meal. This was about a month ago and I can’t stop thinking about it. Angelo is my hero and the chefs are beyond skilled! Wonderful experience, I highly recommend.
Enjoy a vibrant spot with tasty vegan offerings that even non-vegan friends rave about, plus a nifty app for easy ordering and outdoor vibes.

No qualms of cross contamination here.
Confidently eating vegan food. Terrific service. Quality, fresh food.
Downloaded the app where you can order ahead or view the specials. Ordering at the store is easy with Camille. You order, they have monitor that prompts your name and the stays of your order. They offer outdoor dining or to go. They have lettuce wrap options at no extra cost or you can opt for a Pushkin’s gluten free bun.
We ordered the GF chicken pad Thai and even asked them to mark it as a gluten allergy. They accidentally added a bunch of fried tofu, which is not gluten free. Might have to go to the hospital and they said they can't do anything for us. With me luck, I guess.
A small midtown gem with big flavors, great ambiance, and a crowd often lining up for a delightful experience.

I can not share this place enough. If you have ever gone, you know what I mean. They are friendly, they are fun the food is fabulous. They even accommodate my gluten-free dietary need.... They are a small midtown location with a line out the door...that is so worth the wait. The prices are decent as well. This place hands down the best place to go to anyway of the week.
With a convenient app ordering system and responsive staff, quick service here ensures a smooth experience, even when tech glitches arise.

I came in for a quick protein meal after the gym. Their system was down so I ordered thru the app. I am allergic to gluten, so I ordered the hard corn tacos - their system didn't specify (I was shown on the receipt, and I could show on my app what I ordered), so the tacos were made with soft flour tortillas. Even though when I came in, 5 people were waiting for their orders, Gabby H helped me right away and remade my tacos on the spot with no fuss - I really appreciated that!
Chipotle, please fix your online ordering system to specify corn tortillas! And give kudos to Gabby! Really excellent customer service!
Small downtown space filled with colorful walls and friendly staff. VEGAN AND VEGETARIAN menu options! No lard in the beans and they're delicious! Prices are great, service is great, salsa bar is amazing. I have celiac disease and haven't gotten sick eating here. I highly recommend this place.
With a focus on well-crafted cocktails and standout dishes, this spot delivers a vibrant, flavorful experience that's hard to resist.

The food was amazing. Most of their dishes are naturally gluten free, however they don’t have gluten feee options for their sides (such as chips or crackers). This left me eating hummus and ceviche by the spoon.
The drinks are great. Well crafted cocktails.
Enjoy delicious pizza with a crispy crust, topped with loads of cheese, and served on a unique warmer for that perfect slice experience!

Very good Gluten Free GF pizza. Great taste, amazing crust and lots of cheese! The tables have stands with a warmer for the pizza to sit on, very nice touch.
The server was incredibly attentive and courteous. Great experience

Food was amazing! Very tasty and prepared with love indeed.
Atmo was low key at the moment but I can see the potential for this outdoor space to become a destination spot on the weekends and summer evenings.
I don't eat pork, but was able to try the Belgi Beef-- so yummy and that savory waffle was the perfect crisp. I paired my meal with garlic fries that were small wedges with the perfect amount of seasoning.
Service was excellent just wish the server was a little less willing to take a low jab and ask what drew me to the place, when I was having a difficult time deciding on something to eat without pork. Which there were non-pork items available, however once I mentioned why I stopped by he was kind and quick to offer even kinder words.
I will definitely be back for the pretzel and beer cheese-- dairy and gluten enzymes in hand!
Thank you for such an innovative food concept!

I love this restaurant! The staff is friendly and helpful, and the ambience is lovely w/dim but also bright lights, indoor & outdoor seating, and fun music! This place is kind of pricey, and the food is not quite as delicious as a lot of smaller Mexican restaurants, but it’s still delicious, and there is a lot of variety, like food items for people like me with dietary issues (gluten & lactose intolerance); I highly recommend the fish tacos and the carne asada tacos—so juicy, fresh, & huge! :)🌮🌮 I had my birthday here a few weeks ago—good times!
An unexpected gem blending cozy bar vibes with a casual dining experience, offering exceptional service and a thoughtful menu.

Alaro: the backup plan that delivered.
We rolled in last minute, no reservation, no plan—wine in hand from our first-choice spot. I hadn’t even done my usual vegetarian menu sleuthing. Honestly? I expected to settle. But surprise surprise, this place delivered.
The menu has range. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, meat-lovers—everyone’s invited and no one’s stuck with a sad side salad. We love an inclusive queen.
Didn’t try the beer because, again, wine. But the food? Came in hot. It’s refined pub classics with a little tapas flair. Fried pickles. Onion dip. A grilled cheese that was crispy, golden, and somehow not a grease bomb. Add the grilled onions. Seriously. Just do it.
There’s a freshness here that a lot of places in this category miss. It doesn’t feel heavy or overdone—it feels like someone in the kitchen actually cares.
The service? Super friendly and clearly knew the menu. But yes, we had to ask for flatware. Multiple times. Which, when your food’s already on the table? A little chaotic.
Still—flavor wins. The vibe’s solid. I came in with low expectations and left thinking about what I want to try next.
Next time, I’m showing up with an appetite... and my own fork. Just in case. 🥄✨
How I break down my star reviews:
1 - No. Not if it was the last thing on DoorDash. 🗑️
2 - Meh. Maybe if I’m desperate, close, and high. 😬
3 - Mid. Not texting the group chat about it. 🤷♀️
4 - Hella solid. Planning my next visit. 😋
5 - Shut up and take my money. Om Nom Nom. 🔥
A beautiful spot with a stunning patio, thoughtful service, and unique coat racks makes for a memorable dining experience in Midtown!

My family and I love the ambience of this place so we have given it a thorough trial. We have visited a total of 3 times. The first time was for my birthday dinner in which the power unexpectedly went out and they had us pay and excused us from the restaurant. It sucked, but they told us to return. We returned for my Mom’s birthday in 2023 and my father got a dry chicken dish. We finally did brunch this past Saturday with a friend and my husband. Flavors were awesome but technique was lacking. The eggs on both dishes (Benedict and avocado toast) were under poached - runny and translucent whites kind of under poached. When my Mom asked for it to be recooked, the server asked my Mom if she was looking for a medium poach. Unfortunately my Mom was just looking for the eggs to be standard poached. They went ahead and removed it from the bill which was considerate. The almond cake sounded so yummy and flavor was excellent, but almond cake is notorious for being a moist gluten free treat. This one was oddly dry and mealy. The lemon ricotta pancakes, although not notorious for being overly sweet, weren’t sweet at all. I’m sorry to say we likely won’t be back. Beautiful place and lovely staff if that’s what you’re looking for! Perhaps we have just had bad luck with them.
Tucked away in Midtown Sacramento, this bustling spot serves up delicious sandwiches, though be prepared for a busy lunch rush and variable service.

Big fan of these sandos! I haven’t been to any of the other locations, but this one is tucked nicely in Midtown Sacramento. They offer Gluten Free bread, which is why I keep going back!
It’s not always consistent when I go though. Sometimes they warm the bread but other times they won’t. They will do it if I ask but it’s not standard practice one way or the other it seems. It also gets very busy at lunch time so the ordering and paying process is a little clunky if you have never been. I could have walked out with my sandwich without paying (I waited a long time to pay after I got my food). But don’t let any of this deter you, the food is awesome!!
Experience a vibrant atmosphere with top-notch cocktails and delicious broth that will pleasantly surprise you.

I really enjoyed the food, drinks, atmosphere and service. Their pho broth was very good, far exceeded my expectations. I also loved their cocktail program.
I was a little disappointed in the lack of gluten free options especially for a Vietnamese fusion restaurant. They use soy sauce in a lot of their marinades. It would be an easy substitution to use gf tamari, that wouldn't change the flavor but would make more dishes accessible for gf folks.
Other than that, I was very happy with my meal and also my server was very patient and knowledgeable about gluten and helped me find something I could enjoy.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere perfect for family gatherings, where a variety of delicious tapas and paellas take center stage.

Came here with a large group of family. We took the waiter’s advice and went family style with a variety of tapas and several paellas. It was the perfect amount of food! The atmosphere and service were phenomenal and the food was beautiful and delish! They safely accommodated gluten free, dairy free, and shellfish free folks. The mushroom paella was an excellent vegetarian option as well!

Super terrific and delicious vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free food. Offers a limited number of dishes, but each is very well done. I'm by no means a vegetarian, but the food is superb, and I don't just mean as compared to other meatless food. I'll be back.
This spot boasts two patios, late-night vibes, and a strong commitment to community, making it a must-visit for a fun outing!

I’ve been to this place more times than I choose to count. I’m gluten free so I’ve stolen (with permission) toppings from friends pizzas, eaten the hand cut double fried fries with one of their house made sauces, had plenty of wines and ciders, and the staff and music are super on point. Conveniently located, open late (for sacramento), and 2 patios to choose from when it’s a nice day, highly recommend.
Even when the building had a flood, the owners and employees opted to have a makeshift “outside only” modified patio service to keep money coming in for their employees. Solid.
This was a good Thai restaurant. I had the Panang Curry with Tofu and it was Great!!
While not the 'Best' place in Sacramento, or in Midtown, it's still pretty good; especially when compared to some of the not-so great places.
They are really accommodating for people with dietary restrictions such as Celiac Disease and they had good vegetarian and vegan options as well.
I would definitely recommend!

I’ve been here several times since their soft opening a few weeks ago! Great options for gluten free folks! Really fresh and delicious Japanese deli food - I’ve had the onigiri, musubi and coconut pudding. All amazing! The staff are really kind and welcoming and it’s a really cute space.
