We were regulars at the NSB McKenna's for years but recently moved from New Smyrna closer to Daytona so we finally tried the Port Orange McKenna's. It's one of our favorite places in New Smyrna (we'd usually go at least once a month) so we had high expectations. The menus are very similar and most of our regulars were there. While I had never been to Port Orange McKenna's the spot itself is very nostalgic because I grew up in Port Orange and went there for years when it was Beef O Brady's. Anyway, over all the food was good. They did accidentally make me the gluten free chicken which were definitely not as good as the regular chicken tenders but I understand things happen. They offered to remake them but I didn't want them to be out on the cost of the first batch. The Gouda cheese is something I've order for years with my fries at the NSB location but I didn't personally like the one at the Port Orange location, my fiance did. Again these are all understandable things. The main issue for us was being told we could substitute a cup of soup as a side and then being charged an extra $6 for it without our consent. When the bill came we explained the soup shouldn't be any additional charge as it was included as a side with one of our meals per the first waitress who took our order (she actually went out of her way to suggest we didn't get more fries which is what we had actually asked for). The second waitress said no that was not correct we now owe an additional $6. I was really frustrated at this point and I explained then we did not get a side with one of our meals at all. Additionally we would not have ordered the soup at all as an al a cart item, we were told it was included which is why we ordered it. She made no attempt to make it right what so ever. Outwardly the entire ordeal has an appearance of dishonesty however I know this was not the intention. This should not be the way customers are handled during a misunderstanding caused by the restaurant. We will for sure not be regulars at this location like we had hoped.
Consistently great taste with accurate orders and a cool twist on traditional meals makes this spot a favorite hangout.

My family eats at Red Robin with some regularity as it's typically friendly for those with celiac disease, which my wife suffers from. We've ordered takeout from here the past two weeks through the Red Robin website and our order, both times was messed up badly (i.e. requesting a lettuce wrap and instead receiving a bun) which essentially renders my wife's meal inedible.
Additionally asking for crispy fries yielded limp, undercooked spuds (insert sad trombone noises here). Finally had enough and called to complain, manager was friendly and apologized effusively, said he'd refund our order, and after some technical difficulties, said he had to call back as he couldn't figure it out. He called back, apologized again, and offered to send a gift card to comp the meal, which I thought was a fine solution. Where I get further irked is that the gift card was $40. Our meal was close to $65. I appreciate the gesture and wasn't really looking for anything, but if you tell me you're going to refund the meal and then send a lesser amount via gift card...c'mon, that's just fumbling the bag.
Great vibes with a clean atmosphere and a killer old school alternative rock playlist make this spot a must-visit for food lovers!

Ok this is definitely on point with everything!!! From food to service and atmosphere… if I can give it a 20 stars I would! The service was REMARKABLE, place really clean, food tasty and they played that old school alternative rock which I love!!! I can’t get over how amazing this place is!!! My 15 year old said this is his new go to place and he’s very particular about his food so that’s saying a lot!!! Lol oh and they also have gluten free options… 10/10 RECOMMEND!!!
Unique options make this spot stand out, with dense fries and popular custard treats attracting plenty of fans.

Burgers are not a food I go after much. It's a tough one for food allergies. I was surprised to learn that this location offers a gluten free bread that is also egg and dairy free. You can eat a burger here like a normal person. The alternate bread is not bad.
The fries here are dense. It's the first time I can't finish the fries. I feel like many come here for the custard treats. My Mom loved her scoop.

Quite a delightful treat! Gluten-free free crust was amazing as was the rest of our meal. Husband raved about the Stromboli. The service was excellent 👌 Definitely a must if you're in the area.
An annual favorite for families, this cozy spot offers a buffet with standout cinnamon rolls and great river views for a relaxed experience.

The fixin's bar is awesome! I didn't get a cinnamon roll this time, but they smelled soooo good! I love the broccoli salad and cheese grits. It was Easter Sunday, so there were no specials, but the burger was good. My friends enjoyed their unicorn fish.
They are knowledgeable about allergies and have many gluten-free options available even on their fixin's bar.
They don't do reservations, but they do what's called priority seating and call ahead.
Chill vibes and stylish decor create a welcoming atmosphere, making every visit an enjoyable experience you'll want to repeat.

My dad and I traveled from Tennessee and thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at Another Broken Egg. We visit ABE locations wherever we go, but we were particularly impressed with the aesthetics and vibe of the Daytona Beach restaurant. Amanda, the manager, greeted us personally and was very friendly. Our server, Amber, provided attentive and kind service. The food was fantastic, and I especially appreciated the available gluten-free options. This experience was a highlight of our trip, and I'm truly grateful to the team for their excellent service! We look forward to visiting again next time! - C

I got a flavored coffee and a blueberry muffin.
The blueberry muffin was completely flavorless, like they missed the sugar completely.
I called the store to let them know, they connected me to another coffee shop, but not in Daytona.
I actually called to see if I accidentally picked up a gluten-free muffin because it had no flavor.
Open-air dock vibes with fresh fish, but watch out for pesky bugs and heat on warm days!

What a wonderful Tuesday morning. Apparently they were short staffed today but you would never know ! Jill W was our waitress at the bar and let me tell you what a delight! You could tell she really connected with her guests and even had her regulars orders memorized. I have Celiac and ordered the skillet with GF toast and forgot to say no gravy, well Ashley the manger who was helping send food out saw my GF toast on the plate and before adding gravy came over to confirm ! She saved my day … literally. They were working their butts off and keeping a calm enjoyable environment. I am very impressed. Oh and the food.. Amazingggggggggggg 🤤

My partner and I are both allergic to gluten and dairy and this is the first pizza place we found that offers gluten free crust AND vegan cheese.
If I could I would make sweet sweet love to that pizza. This was some of the most delicious pizza I have ever had. The perfect amount of sauce to cheese ratio and a perfect amount of toppings. Like this pizza is so good I'm literally at a loss for words.
This is the first time in my entire life I have ever had pizza and not had an upset stomach or shat my brains out.
I wish I could rate this higher than five stars

We came here to get away from the crowds in Daytona after a cheer competition. It got a great review on a gluten free finding app and our cheerleader needs gluten free (celiac). They have a separate gluten free menu. Our daughter ordered mahi mahi with the Malibu topping and she loved it. Our waitress Kayla was super sweet and knowledgeable. She even helped us research a good local ice cream shop when we were paying our check.
Charming cafe with a cozy vibe, delightful aromas, and a great selection of pastries and healthy options—definitely worth a visit!

This was a great little cafe, first time eating here; my dad, stepmom, and I visited while on vacation, and I hope to return the next time I'm in town.
Loved the decor and ambiance inside...and the smells; so cinnamon-y! Lots of great food and drink choices; as well as plenty of fresh baked pasteries and desserts on display. The staff is very friendly and quite efficient, and seem to work well together in such a busy and energetic environment.
I very much enjoyed the Chorizo crepe, as did my dad, and my stepmom equally enjoyed her gouda, bacon, egg & cheese croissant. The food was hot and tasty, and filled us up well!
Cinnamon Tree also offers plenty of healthy options including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free.
I highly recommend making a stop!

The food is really tasty and there are loads of gluten and dairy free options to cater to food allergies. If you have celiac though I would not get the falafel because it is fried in the same oil as the french fries thus not actually gluten free.
I am a little frustrated that the fries aren't gluten free for some reason and for it to be dairy free you can't have any sauces. We didn't realize it the last time and we got a little sick since the falafel wasn't completely gluten free and the sauce isn't dairy free. (This was mostly our fault cause we didn't double check but it's still frustrating)
When we asked this time the employees were unsure why the fries were not marked gluten free.
The drink selection they have is also good. I could drink buckets worth of the agave cream soda
I will say the space is very open so it"s reasonably wheelchair accessible
I would definitely come back because the food is delicious but not maybe as frequently since I can't have the falafel anymore.
This spot shines with a diverse menu that caters to every preference, featuring unique vegan twists and a vibrant atmosphere.

Great gluten free and vegan options! I love that they offer vegan cheese. They have a separate vegetarian section with vegan options. Their vegan ceviche is a must!
First, my order was not correct. I was there for a quick dinner so I let it go. I wanted corn tortillas and got flour instead. I ordered plantains but was charged for flautas. Not even something I would ever order as I am gluten free for the most part. Was not charged for plantains so figured I was even being charged for flautas instead.

Great food, fair prices, and very fast service. Tried 3 beef and 3 chicken tacos, both were great but the beef were my favorite. Able to handle a gluten and lactose free order, would highly recommend.
Really delicious! Great service, offer gluten-free food, everything we tried was great… Fried ice cream was a hit... No wait on a Thursday night, lots of parking

I have a gluten allergy and she was more on top of it than I was!!! So helpful and made sure everything was prepared correctly. Ahh what memories of northeast pizza houses. Except… with an updated menu. A great example is the gluten free pizza for a hard to please pizza lover who loved it served with his favorite pepperoni. I had the meatloaf hero that was also delicious. If you are a pizza lover, don’t miss this place.
Thank you for opening up yesterday, despite the hurricane. My daughter was so excited to order a gluten free pepperoni pizza, and she said it was the best one yet! Good people and good pizza! Thanks again for being open. :)

Fairly good selection of Gluten Free foods. Very convenient to my condo. Cashiers are pleasant and when I have needed help finding something, I found workers knew where items were. They also have non-food items, OTC medical supplies and a pharmacy. I find shopping here much easier and less hectic than the larger Walmarts.

My husband had the pastrami on gluten free bread and I had the stallion Italian sub on regular sub and it was fantastic! Their French fries are so good. We also bought a tin of chicken salad and one of tuna salad and both were excellent. The place is what you expect of a deli, and very clean. They have a wide menu that I'm sure we will have fun experiencing with since they also have salads, wraps, etc. Love it, love it!!!
Brought the in-laws (or they brought us 🤔) and the kids here and everything was delish! Eggplant parmigiana, gluten-free pizza, spaghetti with white wine clam sauce, etc!! Thanks Gabbie!!
Gluten/wheat free WINGS!! 💜👍🏽 They have juicy, nice sized wings that are NOT breaded! They also allow u to choose to get only drums or flats for $1 upcharge. Finally found good wings! (Fries are unique and yummy) Plus had a surprise today, a man singing and playing on the keyboard. (Hes there every Tue. 530pm-8pm approx) Also I noticed their alcoholic drinks are REALLY priced nicely AND their 8oz. sirloin steak is only $11, which my son had and it was really nice cut,so juicy, soft and flavorful! (I'm definatly trying that next time). Plus a NY strip priced at $13 (special) for a 12oz.! 😮😍 Wish I knew about this place sooner! Worth a try!!! *oh yes their grilled fish dinner was amazing! Gave me three filets and their mash potatoes & vegetable mix are really really good!
I got the Sweet Heart Roll and wow was it flavorful! My mom ordered the hibachi dinner and she said it was very tasty. 😋
Bonus- they even had gluten free soy sauce 🌟
This was our second visit to this Portuguese restaurant and once again the food was excellent, the staff friendly and prompt, the chef happy to accommodate my gluten free needs and who can fault half price wine with lunch!
The amount of meat you can get for the prices are amazing. And they're starting to stock for gluten free options in the grocery sections as well. We really enjoy shopping here.
