This is the only safe place to eat if you have any sort of allergy or intolerance to gluten. There is never any cross-contamination and the food is always absolutely delicious. Wonderful experience. They were pretty busy, and a storm was coming in, so they were in the process of moving outside parties to inside tables. Even with all of that, wait time was 10 minutes. We decided to sit at the bar. We were thrilled to see they had so many gluten-free options. I had the shrimp and crab pasta without any reaction. My fiance had the bacon, egg, and cheddar smash burger and was in pain 😢 The service and experience overall was nice. Next time, we will verify they have a dedicated space to cook. Pretty sure he was Cross contaminated.

Have always made it a point to visit when in town. we usually spend a week in VA Beach at least 4 times a year. We have always ordered at least 3 times when we are in town. We decided to sit in at Chesapeake and was very, very disappointed 😞. First, I ordered soup and it was stone cold. Secondly the food came out in waves and everyone finished at separate times. Service was slow and inconsistent. Had to wait for dressing for salad. And finally we ordered Gluten-free cheese steak and this is the one reason why we visit. Not many gluten-free free choices but have always counted on YKnot. The cheese steak was inedible. I am glad that we found Bakers Crust and will be patronize them on our trips

Not the best burger I've had but I give it a 7.5/10, but the gluten free bun is the worst, tasteless and completely falls apart. Next time I'll do a lettuce bun. The meat was juicy and flavorful but the bacon could have been cooked longer. The fries were a bit above average. Overall I'd give this place a 3.5/5, better than 5-Guys but not as good as Mooyah (unfortunately they closed locations in VA). Price-wise was less than 5-Guys. The manager came around asking people if everything was ok and giving out $5 coupons. Will give it another shot next burger craving.

This location is really close to my house. I am not sure if it is a local chain or National one.
To make my order it takes about 15 minutes for 2 normal and 2 cauliflower pizzas. I am very pleased with their Gluten-Free options. The staff is incredibly nice. They have very good cleaning practice. And that goes the same for the back of the place. There is NO wall blocking view of the oven and prep area. Which I really like. They aren't hiding anything.

This particular Firehouse Subs shop is my favorite Firehouse and has amazing sandwiches!
