We had been recommended this restaurant by a friend, and it did not disappoint. We had gluten-free fish and chips which came with a nice serving of fries and coleslaw. The drinks were tasty and the atmosphere was lively. The location is right next to the Victoria Harbour Airport and you can see a view of sea planes as well as the sunset. Nice fun place to enjoy a meal.

Unfortunately I had a bad reaction to eating here. The product itself is amazing and they understood they needed to be careful - I’m just prob more sensitive to all the flour and cross contamination here.

Wonderful Italian restaurant. If your in Victoria, make a reservation. Delightful decor, kind of hidden off an alley. We were there for our anniversary and our waiter was wonderful and professional, excellent service, (I think his name was Carson). They don't have gluten-free pasta, but will substitute with risotto.

Just finished our meal at Chilango. Ella, our server, was a delight and was quick to answer our questions. The food was amazing and came out so quickly! We overindulged as the menu looked so good that it was hard to pick. We had the burrito bowl, divorced enchiladas, Aztec soup, pork belly tacos and everything was amazing! The horchata and churros were delicious as well. Tons of gluten free options for our celiac friend too which was nice. We’ll be back. Couldn’t recommend this place more!!

Love love love stillfood so much. Obsessed with the new gluten free chicken wings, especially the hot hunny flavor. I crave them constantly now lol The phillycheeze steak, potato salad and Dan Dan bowl are also amazing. My boyfriend who is not vegan often suggests we go here because he loves the food. The owners and staff are also awesome and the actual restaurant is really nice and always very clean.

We went during happy hour so the menu was limited but the food was delicious. Highly recommend the pot of miso soup, very tasty. Items are clearly marked if they are gluten free.

An awesome burger place that has so many options for those with dietary restrictions! A bit of everything for everyone. Tons of vegan options as well as stuff for meat lovers, and even gluten free options. A great place to go if you got a group of friends with picky stomachs.

My family and I had a great experience. With the exception of root beer, there was something on the menu for all of us. A lot of gluten free options as well as Vegan and plant based. Good healthy and delicious options as well. And then there was the burgers that were very satisfying. Really nice restaurant. Option of sitting where it's quiet or in the lounge where there's a great social vibe going on.

Great place for those with celiac disease or a gluten allergy. I received GF bread and many of the dishes are or can be made GF. They have GF appetizers, pasta, risotto and GF dessert. The service was great.

Celiac here! I haven’t ate fish & chips in 8 years and Daves fish & chips did not disappoint! Everything was delicious and fresh. Had halibut, salmon, yam fries and coleslaw. We will definitely be back!

Excellent restaurant! The only downside is the wait time (about 1 hour) as it is walk-in only and you cannot call to place your name on the waitlist over the phone. Nonetheless, great food and servers. We really appreciated how knowledgeable about they are about gluten allergies. We strongly recommend getting the fresh wasabi (3 dollars extra).

Great tastes but nowhere to sit. Its summer, but nothing outside to be found as you can sit and enjoy the ice cream. People were sitting on a back of their car 🙈 Also no air conditioning inside. I mean, yes, taste of an ice cream great but no air conditioning in the plase which is selling ice cream that oksymoron. Great availability of vegan and gluten free choices though

Best gluten free sandwiches ever! Family run business that doesn’t skimp on fillings. I get my toasted sandwiches here and they have really nice tea as well, loose leaf good quality. I come here weekly and generally don’t eat out places often but the quality is so great that I come here after my physiotherapy upstairs and it’s the perfect boost. The washroom is very clean and spacious, wheelchair or stroller friendly, and has a changing table.

Had a lovely time. Best scones I've ever had! Some of the sweets were too sweet for us but flavors were good. Having British themed hats to wear would have been a fun add on if we could have! Wonderful to have gluten free options.

I went to Afterthoughts for the first time when Cora’s became so busy, that I would have to wait an hour or more for a table. The Afterthoughts is a pretty good café to go to. This café has a good selection of coffee concoctions and desserts, including keto and gluten free alternatives. I ordered the Keto Strawberry Cheesecake it was creamy and tasty. I also had the Gluten-Free Pecan Tart that I found was more enjoyable. The cappuccino was very solid and found no problems with the drink. The establishment has a nice traditional aesthetic to it with mild lighting. Afterthoughts is a great place to have a caffeinated drink and snack. It would be great if this place had a menu for of full meals.

I have visited Kelowna twice in the past year and I was lucky enough to find Sunny's on the first trip. Let me start by saying I had a perfectly good breakfast being served at my hotel and I opted to skip that 3 of the 5 days I was recently there and go to Sunny's. The hollandaise sauce is next level. The right amount of tart acid to cut through the fat of the sauce. And its super light and airy. I tried all 4 of the eggs benny combos and they were great. The vegetarian option was the standout for me even though I am a pretty staunch meat eater. Also, if your gluten free get the Eggs benny Todd's way. Which is served on a bed of their perfectly golden brown and delicious hash browns. The staff are all friendly and work in perfect harmony with each other. Which really elevates the experience. I would recommend sitting at the counter if you can so you can see the great folks making you food and see the love they put into it. And a top tip. If you want a mimosa go after 9. BC wont allow liquor sales before then. #foundoutthehardway

EDIT The owner was very quick to respond and apologized for the situation and said they would be posting about it moving forward so others will know. Very good customer service and I look forward to coming back once the gluten free crust is available once again.

This was our first time and came highly recommended from a local, who comes often. The wait was over an hour but well worth it! All our meals were excellent and they accommodated well for gluten free needs. The orange hummus was incredible. Recommended!

Lovely, charming locally owned cafe with excellent sandwiches. Not the place if you are in a hurry - the owner makes everything herself, and it’s delicious. I loved my gluten free sandwich - not dry at all like most places - and my spouse loved his. Great place to sit on the patio and enjoy Langford.

For that schnitzel craving, there is no better place in Victoria. And if you're celiac (gluten free) the answer is finally "yes!". You can enjoy it right along with your eating partners. The crisp is just right, the sides (you get two) are very nicely prepared. Bonus is, we have enough leftover for lunch the following day. The service was fun, informative and attentive.

Had an amazing experience at Earls Grandview on Thursday night! Our server, Hayley, was fantastic—attentive and friendly. Austin, the guest experience manager on duty, went above and beyond by comping two desserts when they found out we were celebrating something. The food was incredible—steak frites were better than The Keg, and the sushi tacos and pizzas were delicious. The new plant based burger (perfect for my vegan husband) was much better than the processed impossible burger they used to have. (Good job on the switch Earls!!!). They also had great gluten-aware options, which was perfect for my daughter who was recently diagnosed with gluten intolerance, and myself who has a GF prefercence. The mocktails were refreshing and creative and the prosecco was delicious. Outstanding service and food—we’ll definitely be back!

My son and daughter in law took me here for my birthday. We had reservations and were warmly greeted at the door. The old rustic Italian ambience was very inviting. We started out with a Buffalo Mozzarella appertif and the tomatoes were very refreshing. I had the Veal Parmigiano with pasta. The portion of veal was amazing. The flavour of the tomato sauce brought back memories of Sunday dinners at my Zia's when families and neighbours got together for dinner. My son had the Pennette Al Salmone Offumicatto which he said he loves so much he orders all the time. My DIL the Gluten Free Fettuccine Alla Puttanesca. She said the noodles were some of the best GF noodles she has had. The service was great! Would highly recommend!
