Every time I’ve eaten at Chop Steakhouse, I’ve been gluten contaminated, even after clearly stating I have celiac disease and confirming my meal would be safe. I’ve only ever ordered steak, yet it still happened each time. This shows a serious lack of cross-contamination protocols. I will not be returning and strongly caution anyone with celiac disease or gluten intolerance.

I’m celiac, and there were a number of gluten conscious items on the menu. Ours were absolutely delicious, and our server, Raine provided us with a great rundown of allergen-friendly options.

Awesome! We ordered take out, and the portions were very large (the biggest we've had compared to other Indian restaurants in Saskatoon).
Everything was great! Dal Makhni, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, and Chicken Saag.
The coconut rice had so much shredded coconut, yum. Unfortunately no gluten free bread options (challa) available at other places - but lots of other options. The butter chicken was obviously chicken breast cooked and cut and added to the sauce (which was tasty) but a little dry and would have been nice if it was cooked in the sauce.

This cafe checked all my boxes, need a place to study, or catch up with friends , maybe try gourmet pastries.. or drinks? This is the place for you! I went here last weekend with my friends, it was so refreshing, all I’d reccomend is maybe upgrading the table area by the booths because it was kind of crowded. Other than that, it was amazing! Don’t fret if you’re gluten free, they had delicious gluten-free pastries including the cinnamon bun.
My personal favourites had to be the sandwiches, bison meat was just so delicious and the bread was baked freshly at Pique! The iced chai latte was rich in flavour and they have stations to add your own creamer, get a refreshing glass of sparkling water or regular water, and lids and other needs. Perfect!!! Best cafe I have been to in Saskatoon.

Amazing little cafe, the decor is vintage and extremely cool. Lots of historical decor, adds to amazing atmosphere.
The service was extremely high quality, everyone who works there is lovely. There were two allergies at my table (gluten and nuts) and both were accommodated by the staff.
The food was delicious. Everything is homemade in the cafe. Their hollandaise is absolutely amazing. I had their steak, it was perfectly cooked to my request (rare).
Will be visiting again when I’m back in Saskatoon. I highly recommend eating here.
