Not a fan of this place, because of their pork-centric selection and lack of dairy free options. They have a few glutenfree options, so I did manage to get full, but I was freezing to the point of shaking while there. We were all wearing our coats while eating because the door didn't close properly and the staff didn't notice/bother to close it when customers forgot/didn't notice. Several times we went down to close the door, and that shouldn't be the guests job.

The gluten-free marinara pizza I ordered was stellar, in my opinion. Not too much sauce, and the crust was well-cooked. However, the staff didn't seem to behave very nicely towards me, in response of two things that I said with the nicest tone of voice possible: 1) I wanted to order and eat a pizza on the spot; 2) I wanted to pay it with my credit card in advance (I saw the sign that they prefer cash way too late, but I can confirm that you can pay via credit card, otherwise I wouldn't praise the pizza I ate there). In addition, the upper part of one or two chairs seem in need to be repaired, but I list purely aesthetic defects.

VeVe is a amazing vegetarian / vegan (I guess that's where the name comes from?) place, a hidden gem in a developing area of Østerbro called Amerika Plads.
The ambiance is fantastic. You are welcomed with a lounge area where you can opt in for getting food "snacks" (they are so much more than a simple snack), which I highly recommend you do! You are then taken to the table where you will be served the main course menu.
We went with the vegan option, which exceeded our expectations (I'm a picky eater and I even enjoyed the Brussel sprouts!)
Everything ticked the right boxes for both me and my wife. We will definitely be coming back

Disappointing experience. We waited far too long for basic food, even the kids’ meal, which should’ve come earlier. I had to ask twice where our food was. When it finally arrived, the pizzas were overcooked and dry, and the gluten-free one was honestly the worst we’ve ever had. The kids’ pasta was ok. Service was rude and inattentive, we barely saw our waitress and had to get up multiple times just to request things. For simple dishes, it was incredibly overpriced.
Avoid this tourist trap. There is a lot of amazing restaurants in this area.
