The building doors looked a little rundown with boards on it, but the doughnuts oh so worth stopping in. Best of all they have gluten-free choices that my robotics team needed. Worth the extra few minutes to get there from Long Beach, CA convention center area.

The staff is so nice and makes you feel like part of the family, they give great insider reccos for the food and are just the right level of attentionate checking in to make sure you're good. Plus, they have yummy gluten free options 🥰 def put that blended melted butter/syrup on your buckwheat pancakes!

This is my favorite bakery in Long Beach. Their pastries are very good quality and sized generously. Their croissants are incredible. I highly recommend the plain croissant, strawberry and cream croissant, nutella croissant, and pain au chocolat. The filling for the strawberry and cream croissant is the best. I believe it is whipped strawberry mascarpone. Their gluten free muffins have a nice texture. The matcha croissant is not my favorite, as it is somewhat lacking in matcha flavor. I would compare the coating to the matcha Pocky coating. As for their brunch, it is also incredible. The baked eggs are my favorite. The sauce is very good and the eggs were cooked perfectly, with bright orange yolks. It's incredibly fresh and vibrant from the bright tomatoes and fresh herbs, but also balanced out with creamy soft cheese. It's served with a fresh crispy baguette. I would recommend the brioche toast as a shared sweet appetizer. We ordered ours with a side of blueberry jam. One area that they could work on is their coffee quality. The cappuccino was quite bitter and the milk was not steamed very well. I ordered the peanut little, which is made with housemade peanut milk, layered with espresso and some milk foam and topped with cacao nibs. I would not recommend this drink because it has a strange texture. It's somewhat gritty and the cacao nibs mean you have to chew when you drink. I have also tried the banana buzz, which I found to be very watery and it did not have a strong banana flavor. Instead of ordering coffee here, I would recommend walking down the street to get a coffee at Coffee Drunk while waiting for a table for brunch, as the wait is usually over 30 minutes.

Always looking for irie vegan spots, and this was recommended to me. It did not disappoint, it was definetly a local vibe, in the best ways. The food was very clean, light to eat, but still substantial and filling. Their was quite a few rolls to select from, and all looked high quality, and tasted of fresh ingredients. Everything was clearly labeled, with a various amount of gluten-free roll options. I thoroughly enjoyed, the flavors were spot on and subtle. This is a great spot for any on the go person, or looking to dine in; looking for plant based options, without compromising taste!

Vino E Cucina has quite a few gluten free options. All of their sauces can be paired with the gf penne pasta. I enjoyed the puttanesca with a Caesar salad w/o croutons. We shared a crème brûlée for dessert. The staff were very knowledgeable and attentive. We’ll definitely be going back.

When you have a fast food craving as a vegan it’s hard to find good options and I was really impressed with this place. Everything was amazing. The “Bacon Cheeseburger”, the sweet potato fries, the organic lemon lime soda…. and the gluten free peanut butter pie was AMAZING!!! The whole menu is vegan!!

I have been coming to this place for quite sometime. As someone with Celiac I was excited to see the gluten free options, especially the fries! After eating there multiple times and asking about the fries being in a separate frier we were told they were. It wasn’t until the last time that our server informed me that they cannot guarantee the fries weren’t fried with the pita, even though they have 2 friers! She did check and was told that on that day they hadn’t fried pitas in the same frier. Sadly we went again hoping for the same outcome, but that was not the case. Evidently both friers had fried the pitas. Our server actually tried to charge us $10 for some cucumbers to have with our hummus, despite not getting the pita. It makes me super sad that we cannot go there safely and I won’t be able to bring friends and family there anymore. *Edited to update. I so wanted to give them other chances after my last review, based on the owner’s response. However, just tonight our server informed us that my regular dish is NOT dairy free! The manager doesn’t even know, how can they expect their servers to be properly trained? He gaslit me by asking if I had a reaction before! It’s none of his business! Every reaction can vary and before they someone, PLEASE train your staff m!!!

Ground Hideout is like a home away from home. I moved in a few blocks away during the beg of the pandemic ,and found this spot during one of walks. The family is beautiful and makes you feel welcome every time you come in. The drinks are delicious and creative, and they sometimes have vegan and gluten free options for their pastries!

Delicious food with many vegan and gluten free options. Everything on the menu seemed very nutritious. My order didn't taste greasy or salty as restaurant food tends to be. Staff was friendly and accommodating to dietary restrictions. Will definitely come back here if I'm in the area again.
