Went there with our family while visiting Whitefish and were seated quickly and immediately felt the charm. Abruzzo feels fancy while not being stiff. The food was DELICIOUS! We had pizza, the seafood pasta, the pear salad, and gluten free pasta. It ALL was soooo good! GF pasta is always iffy but Abruzzo nailed it in taste and texture. The cauliflower appetizer was the best I've every tasted - especially loved the lemon zing. When we asked about it, the waitress was able to describe how it was prepared as if SHE was the chef. I have a health condition and chose this place specifically because they advertised they offered gluten free options. When I asked for a gluten free sandwich, the woman working was extremely rude and made a very big deal about having to follow the protocol. The other people in the restaurant were starring and I felt so humiliated. I just wanted to leave. 😢 My sandwich wasn't very good. The bread was dry and crumbly and the flavor bland. Even if the sandwich was good, I won't ever go back to a Jersey Mike's just because of how I was treated by the staff. Went here a couple nights ago with my husband who has celiacs. I ordered a regular ham and provolone and my husband ordered the same thing but on the gluten free bread, and the man cutting it was very rude and acted like it was a hassle to wipe things down to make my husband’s sandwich. He looked to be in about his 30’s with a beard. I overheard him tell someone else he was the assistant manager. The rest of the crew was very nice and food was good. We most likely will not be back, since we are obviously a pain. Extremely poor customer service for a manager
