Food is pretty good, in particular their soup, okra, and chicken. Dessert was over cooked. Drinks are great. Service is whatever, the person that served us had weird energy and no warmth. She almost seemed bothered to be working there.
It's always max capacity and ridiculously loud, think loud dance club.
I appreciate there being a dedicated gluten free finer dining place in the pdx area.

Marilyn worked with me to make a 60th Birthday cake for my wife. She was easy and fun to work with giving me the back story of POC and her years as a teacher. In short, we made an easy connection and Marilyn did every thing she could to make me a happy customer. While on the more expensive side, it's hard to find quality GF and DF offering that taste as good as POC's red velvet cake tastes. Our group agreed the cake was OUTSTANDING! "No way this can be gluten and dairy free?!" For a special occasion, consider paying a little extra for a dessert that delivers.

Maruti has excellent organic vegetarian and vegan food. They also have lots of options for a gluten free free or dairy free diet on the menu. I have been going here since before the pandemic, and their food is consistently amazing.
Loved by families, best known for its top-tier poutine with innovative dipping sauces, and quick to rectify any hiccups.

As someone with celiac I really appreciate a dedicated gluten free kitchen. However, the options here are underwhelming. Got the pulled pork fries, which are just fries, pulled pork, and a sauce. Would be much better if there were more ingredients for a little more flavor, and honestly I would hope for a little more for $15

It is one guy, running the front of house and making all the food. Everything is FROM SCRATCH. He makes the bread. He makes the three different kinds of syrup. There's a ton of gluten free stuff but also regular versions of everything too. This place is special. Make sure you go there at least once to meet the guy and eat his amazing food.

We love Dick's! šš For real, though. The food is good and quality ingredients. They are super accommodating to dietary needs. Great for keto, paleo, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, and everything in between. The staff is always super nice. It's a little loud in the space, but not many places that aren't these days. They have a great space for gathering groups. Their water stations are plumbed instead of just jugs, which can get gross if not cleaned often. Just genuinely one of our favorite places to go since we have various dietary issues that our family has to accommodate.

The service is great, everyone is friendly and knowledgeable!
Their food could be really great if it wasn't hit or miss. The pork egg rolls with fresh cilantro are *delicious*, but they are consistently overcooked, despite asking them pull them out of the frier sooner.
All in all, it's a solid place with good gluten-free food and friendly service. However, it does seem to be a bit overpriced at times.
A buzzing cider taphouse with a vast selection, reasonable pricing, and a unique 100% gluten-free menu; just beware of the 2-hour parking limit!

Honestly an amazing experience all around. The flight was to die for, the full pours were massive and not only were they able to accommodate gluten allergy but they were even able to accommodate my soy allergy as well. The wings were the best I've had since 2019 (when I wasn't aware of my allergies) Michael the chef was amazingly helpful! Definitely recommend

I will ALWAYS recommend this place to anyone looking for a breakfast/brunch spot in Portland. The menu? Amazing. The service? So friendly. The food? Outstanding, the jam? Well, thereās a reason why itās called JAM on Hawthorne. A friend in my party needed a gluten-free accommodation and not only was she presented with such giant GF pancakes that she couldnāt even finish, but she was also given extra toppings to-go for her leftovers which was so sweet! Street parking is a bit scarce, but the surrounding neighborhood parking is free. Just remember to pin your location or else you might forget where you parked like I did!
This laid-back spot impresses with unique dishes, a fun atmosphere, and a standout presentation that keeps food lovers coming back for more.

Nudi is one of our favorite restaurants. We just went on 2/7 and had a great time. The food is always amazing, and the service has been friendly. It's a more relaxed atmosphere so they don't run on a tight schedule like other restaurants, so expect to just go with the flow.
We've been probably 10 or more times in the last year and have never been disappointed. Tu (I think that's the correct spelling) is an absolute delight and will upsell the specials and cocktails with silly teasing (which we've found fun - not disrespectful) but whenever we've accepted, we've been happy we did (lobster pad thai means a whole lobster next to your noodles and you will have to work for it lol). We eat mostly gluten free and have been with seriously gluten free friends and have never had an issue finding something for everyone.
Their staples are always amazing for the less adventurous eaters (the short ribs, jap chae, ramen, pad kee mao, pad see lew, pad thai, holy basil fried rice).
Enjoy vibrant flavors and generous portions of unique dishes that leave everyone raving about their delicious experiences.

We've been getting food from this gluten free and vegan food cart for a number of years now. It's always SO GOOD and the lady who runs it is wonderful and so nice. The food is just awesome and for my wife and daughter who are gluten intolerant this place is a 10/10! Even if you are not GF and I am not, the food is so tasty.

This is one of my favorite go-to spots in Portland! I love the vibe, the service, the food, everything. I eat here at least once a month and have never been disappointed. Itās one of the places I point my out of town friends to go eat at. They have gluten free options!
My go-to order is the pork and rice with a thai iced tea. Today I tried the thai green tea with coconut milk ā yummy but not as good as the classic thai tea. Takeout, dine in, itās all good.

I don't even know where to start! I've never had Sri Lankan food, but I'm always up for a new culinary adventure. The reviews sounded great, and the pictures looked good, and all of it made for an
amazing foodie experience! The ambiance is very warm and welcoming with an indoor dining room and even better, a spacious outdoor patio with lights everywhere and heat lamps for chilly weather, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food is outstanding! The combination of flavors, heat levels, spices, and all the love that was obviously poured into it combined to make it a fantastic meal. They have lots of gluten-free options as well. Even the meat eaters would be happy. I highly recommend a visit!

Anjala Ehelebe
She delivered delicious organic, FRESH, local food that was generous in portion sizes. 10 out of 10 would use her catering service again! She can provide gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and omnivore, with optional chicken and wild caught shrimp.
I had The Oregon Trail salad (full disclosure, I did order it with the double serving of grilled chicken as the protein, but I asked for the chicken on the side, so that the photograph would essentially be representative of the un-tossed, "Skip the protein and save $3" version, which would be vegetarian, but could easily be made vegan via substitutions).
The greens were fresh and crisp, the quantities of toppings were well-balanced, and were high-quality. The vinaigrette dressing was very mild / light compared to most others I have had, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing - it allowed the other ingredients to shine, whereas often, a dressing can overpower a salad. The grilled chicken was good, and I have always enjoyed fancy / bougie salad toppings. It was possibly a tiny bit pricey for even a fancy salad, but not absurdly so; I do plan to return to try other menu items - likely the build your own salads and wraps. If they are good, I will probably bump the rating up to five stars.
Garden Monsters has multiple locations, SE Division and NE Alberta in Portland and SW Rose Biggie in Beaverton. They specialize in salads, bowls and wraps, have plant-based proteins available, such as veggie chicken, soy curls and organic tofu and they also have numerous vegetarian and vegan toppings.
Essentially, it appears that they can (very capably) cater to vegetarian, vegan, omnivore, and possibly even gluten free diets - I saw it mentioned (I believe online) that they have a grill that doesn't touch animal products, but I don't know about a completely gluten-free preparation area, so I would definitely still recommend calling ahead to ask about gluten practices, if you have Celiac disease (as I am certain is standard procedure for those who suffer from it). I also read online that all of the to-go packaging they provide is 100% biodegradable.

Iāll gladly remove this review when you remove the āGFā and āGFOā symbols from your menu. The sushi rice has gluten in it. The āgluten freeā noodles are cooked in the same water as the other noodles (aka not gluten free). Therefore you have no gluten free items. You are lying to your customers and making people sick. Super not cool.

I took my family to Pure Green the other day, and we were all in love! The cold-pressed juices were just what we neededārefreshing and full of goodness. My kids couldn't get enough of the smoothies and the aƧaĆ bowls, and I was over the moon with the gluten-free toast options. The place itself is so welcoming and beautifully designed, making our family time extra special. It's fantastic to support a female-owned business that clearly puts so much love into every detail. Honey Latte is hands-down my FAVORITE coffee shop! Located conveniently in inner SE, it boasts Oat-Milk as being its primary milk choice- no moo milk here. Being a Vegan Friendly heaven, they offer not just cruelty-free lattes, but a variety of pastries and baked goods at the counter (with a gluten free option here & there). As if they weren't cool enough, Honey Latte has an enormous indoor space- big enough to throw a show. And THEY DO! Check out the door on your way in and you'll see a slew of upcoming events. On top of that, they regularly hold markets in their back parking lot. So, pop by sometime! Not just for your coffee, but to be part of the magic that is Honey Latte :)
