Lots of variety on the menu. A lot of gluten free options. The south first tots appetizer had a sauce that reminded me of a tomatillo sauce; it’s a little sour which I liked. The brussel sprouts were cooked well. The fried green tomatoes reminded me of fried pickles; the texture. The BST omelette had a lot of filling, it could easily be shared between 2 people. The nitro chata is pretty much a nitro brew with hints of horchata. So creative! Make sure you get on the waitlist. I think we waited around 30 minutes on a Sunday.

Went in for lunch on a Friday. We got seated right away. I'm gluten free and got the gluten friendly pancakes (strawberry). The strawberry syrup was thinner than regular syrup, but maybe that's what it's supposed to be. My husband doesn't have any diet restrictions but he liked the GF pancakes. We shared that and the meat lovers scramble but substituted a couple of the meats for spinach and mushrooms, which made the meal seem less heavy. Most meals were about 1300-1500 calories and the portions were big, so I'm glad we shared. The food was good and so was the service.

My family came here for dinner tonight and our waiter was Carlos. He was an exceptional server- we got to try a variety of hot sauces and 2 amazing deserts. They were able to accommodate gluten free very easily as well. Thank you to Carlos for a wonderful experience!

The Omelettry in Austin is a charming breakfast and brunch spot with eclectic decor and a surprisingly short wait, even on busy weekends. I recently visited with my husband while we were visiting from Dallas and we were both impressed with the food and service. Once we placed our order, we only waited about 15 minutes before our food was brought out. I started with a full stack of gluten-free blueberry pancakes and sausage. The pancakes were light and fluffy, and the blueberries were fresh and tart. The sausage was flavorful and cooked to perfection. I loved that I could enjoy a hearty breakfast without having to worry about gluten. My husband ordered one of the cheese omelets that came with a short stack of pancakes and bacon. He said that the omelet was good, but he wished he had added some meat. He also commented that the portion size was a bit small and the cheese tasted like melted processed cheese. Overall, we had a positive experience at The Omelettry. The food was good, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was eclectic and fun. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable breakfast or brunch. Would I return? Absolutely! Hopefully we will be back in town soon!
