Delicious ramen! The gluten free noodles were the best, and the broth can be made gluten free as well. Celiac friendly, didn't have a reaction! Try with the cheese, it's a surprising addition, and it comes on the side so you can adjust to your taste. A bit pricey, especially for the additional ingredients and GF noodles. I didn't like the impersonal ordering via a screen instead of with a waiter, but I guess I get it from the restaurant's perspective...

I absolutely recommend this place for the best gluten free fried chicken in LA! it’s so crispy and tasty we are 100% coming back here to try more items on the menu and to get the family bucket. The lady who served us was also so nice and kind. Everything we ordered was so tasty, even the pickle and the green sauce - outstanding. Can’t wait to come back for more. My favorite Thai place on the Westside with the sweetest servers. Hard to find healthy options for Thai food that meets dietary needs but this place offers gluten free, seed oil safe options. Any time I'm in Westwood, Emporium Thai is my go-to!

Outstanding food, ambiance, and service!!! We are regulars here at Roots after stumbling upon it a few years back. Typically enjoy their butter chicken, cheese dosa, and aloo tikki. Also delicious & very reasonably priced cocktails, around ~$12, highly recommend the Punjabi Mango & Nirvana Sangria. We have had Indian food all over LA and this is our favorite by far! As Punjabi-Americans, Roots has a special place in our heart for the way it blends traditional and creates new fusion flavors. This is the type of place our grandparents & our West LA friends would equally appreciate! Tons of vegan and gluten free options & an allergy marked menu, much appreciated by this Celiac. Our server Noor was very knowledgable & went above and beyond. The host Harshobit was fantastic as well. Top notch experience overall, we’ll be back soon Roots!

I recently dined at PF Chang’s and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, and our server, Jessica, was attentive and served us with a smile. The standout for me was how carefully they catered to my gluten-free needs. Jessica ensured everything was prepared with care, which I greatly appreciated. Service was fast, and we opted for their special dinner menu for two, which was a great value and offered a delicious variety. The overall experience was smooth and enjoyable—definitely a great spot for a casual yet satisfying dinner!

Food was delicious. Highly recommend for gluten free allergy they are very accommodating. Their spicy tuna crispy rice is also delicious and very affordable! ($9 for 4 large pieces). In fact the whole menu was affordable. The ride for rolls is a bit loose and falls apart in soy sauce, but the service, affordability, and overall deliciousness makes this a must have. I will be returning!

I have a gluten allergy and want to confirm that they can make all ramen broth gluten free and have gluten free ramen noodles (+6 but well worth it). The ramen was delicious, though pricey. This was also the fastest I have ever been served (at 8:30pm on a tuesday), the ramen was served within < 10. minutes of ordering at the kiosk. Highly recommend. I went with the bold ramen, 2/4 spicy (would do 3/4 next time), pork, egg, add woodear mushrooms (don’t recommend bc they are sliced), and cabbage. Yum.

This is the first time I’ve been able to eat Onigiri and—oh my goodness—it’s delicious! I have celiac disease and the people here were very accommodating. While there is not a gluten free menu, I attached their allergy cheat sheet (gluten, sesame seed & oil, nuts, vegan) to this review. I enjoyed the Umeboshi (sour plum) and Ume Takana (sautéed greens) Onigiri and I felt great after (no allergic reaction:) So, if you are GF or have other food allergies this place may still be an option for you, talk to the wonderful staff ✨ Also, this is just a super cute little restaurant with happy plants. Highly recommend the Okinawa brown sugar milk tea!

One of the best vegan ramen in Downtown. I had white creamy ramen with very good gluten-free noodles. Also gyozas and avocado-veggie sushi with leafy salad with tasty vegan dressing - everything this was good! Pretty nice vegan menu for a reasonable price! Nice service, thank you!

Their dedication to making each meal safe and incredible, is what makes me think of them still years later. I dream about flying across the country just to be able to eat there. The flavor balance, the texture and customer service are worth taking a trip there. I usually would take my order to go. The place inside is small and there is not a lot of seating. It is more intimate. There is a patio out front with a couple of seats. There are a lot more gluten free options now than when I last went. If you are just vegan then you have so much to experience! I Hope you fall in love with them just like I did. *limited parking. You can park on the street. The parking lot is a little narrow and shared with other businesses. – My favorites: Vegan crab meat sushi rolls, amazing! When I lived in Los Angeles, this was my favorite place to eat. The woman I spoke with on the phone was kind, empathetic, and reassured me that she would confirm the details, but this situation should not have occurred. While I understand that mistakes can happen, this incident is a matter of negligence, and your restaurant could be liable if others are affected in the same way. I appreciate that DoorDash refunded me for the meal, but should I require medical treatment, I will need to send you the bill. I urge you to take this matter seriously and ensure that all your cooks and servers are properly educated on food allergies and autoimmune conditions. Thank you for your attention to this issue. The food is so good. It's always crowded so anticipate a wait. The shrimp roll is my favorite, but they are all good. I also love that they include gratuity and will not let you tip extra. In a city full of service fees that don't even go to the servers, this is the way. They can accommodate gluten free. Bring your own soy sauce though.
