I've never had Burmese food before but if it's like this then I'm moving to Myanmar and retiring there. I had the chicken wings with garlic and pepper (it's gluten free and absolutely delicious) and the Shan Noodles, which was out of this world. It's not inexpensive. But the service, atmosphere, and food would be wonderful for a date or a special afternoon/night out.

This place had good ramen, decent service, and good vibes. But nothing to write home about and wouldn’t g out of my way to return. Basically if you want some reliably good ramen for a good (but not great) value and you’re in the area, go for it. They have gluten free noodles and vegan options which is always nice for those who need it.

A popular spot with a small, well-executed menu and eco-conscious patrons might be disappointed with the plastic to-go containers.

Overall, a ramen place that would come back to. Didn’t get to the try the Taiten ramen, but got the tantanmen ramen instead — mild spicy. Skip the karage, it’s not worth it. The ramen noodles are too thin and ricey in my option, without enough gluten to get it that bounce back in my mouth.

Extremely disappointed that the gluten free five spice chicken salad I ordered (no crispy shallots), which was verified on the take out screen under the yes jalapeño line item, in fact had crispy shallots when I opened the bag once on the plane. I order 2 salads for $18 each, tough SF prices, and both were missing their salad dressing. I can live without salad dressing but not with a gluten allergy in my party. I’m not in the habit of opening my salads and checking for salad dressing at Bun Mee, I live minutes from one on Fillmore St and have had solid experiences with them. Terminal 3 United Bun Mee is rushing too much and missed crucial parts of my order. Please credit this meal as this is a disappointing experience. UPDATE - I went back 3 weeks later and explained the situation and the manager gave me a comped GF salad. Thank you
