We ordered a custom cake here - and needed it to be gluten and dye free. They were extremely Accommodating and helpful in the ordering process and willing to figure out a way to get us what we envisioned with the restrictions in mind. The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. Even the non gluten freee guests were raving. Cannot wait to order here again soon!

My second visit so far! First visit to Kelly’s was yesterday May 2nd- everyone was SO friendly!! We were looking for vegan / dairy free ice cream options and we were very happy we found Kelly’s! Burlington doesn’t have a lot of these food options available, so very glad we found this bakery! We tried the non gmo soy soft serve - tastes so good! Also got the brownie- delicious and not too overly sweet, also got the chocolate chip cookie- also not too overly sweet and was incredibly tasty!! I must highlight the fact that both days we came into the bakery, everyone was so friendly which is hard to come by in most places that my partner and I have visited around Burlington. Very welcoming atmosphere, the bakery is set up so nice, I get a good vibe walking into this place! This is definitely going to be a go-to desert spot for a nice little treat!! We really did appreciate how pleasant it was to interact with the staff on each time we visited, it’s excellent customer service and love that so far it’s been consistent! Would for sure recommend this bakery for anyone that is looking for the gluten free, vegan, dairy free desert options around the Burlington area!! We really loved the ice cream, chocolate chip cookies and the brownie so far!! We also got the snickerdoodle cookie sandwich, it was a tad sweet, but it did taste really good! Haven’t tried anything else but these so far, but they were top notch!! The cup cakes look very enticing, so those are next on our list of food items to try here!!🩵

I ordered the cookie and creme cake for my birthday and i was AMAZING and looked beautiful! i am allergic to dairy and gluten and my entire family couldn’t even tell it was gluten and dairy free that’s how good it was! thanks bunners bakery for many my birthday special. this is the only place i’m getting my cakes from now!

I recently visited Suzie's Gluten-Free Bakery and was blown away by the delicious treats and friendly service. As someone with gluten intolerance, finding good-quality baked goods can be a challenge, but Suzie's exceeded all expectations. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly baked bread filled the air. The selection was impressive, with everything from muffins, squares to fresh buns. I especially loved the brown bread – it’s moist, flavorful, and didn't taste gluten-free at all! It brings back the grilled cheese in my house for me. The staff are nice and knowledgeable about gluten-free baking and helped me find the perfect treats for my dietary needs. The prices were high but you get a good quality product. I appreciated the attention to detail in packaging, ensuring that my treats stayed fresh on the journey home. I'll definitely be returning to Gluten-free By Suzie for all my baked goods needs when I’m in the neighbourhood– highly recommended!

What a fabulous local, small-business! I have placed orders for a 9" gluten-free carrot cake for a special event as well as 6 gluten-free/dairy-free chocolate cupcakes. Not only were they the hit of the party, they were so incredibly tasting and delicious. The cream cheese icing on the carrot cake was delightful and the cake was moist (could have eaten the whole thing). The cupcakes were devoured by the GF guests at our event and they were so appreciative that we ordered them. I have to say that beyond the cake and cupcakes, it truly is the owner, Josée and her daughter and the entire team I interacted with by email, by phone and in person which really impressed me. They are super friendly, very service-oriented. They truly do have a commitment to make sure their customers are happy. I had a request to change the writing on the icing on the cake and Josée made sure this was done for us. Lately I have felt that customer service & the customer experience in the Retail market & in general has been deteriorating tremendously, but nothing could be further from the truth for “The Bread Essentials”. Josée and her team truly do care about their customers, and it shows in every interaction. Totally impressed and will definitely continue to support this fabulous business. Lastly, just have to say that the zuccini muffins (with chocolate chips) and the apple muffins are soooo good, I can't get my mouth to stop watering to get them again. Support this local buiness, they are wonderful at sharing their knowlege and making sure their customers make informed decisions and they truly were absolutely wonderful to deal with. Great customer experience!
