10/10 will always recommend this Black owned bakeshop. I always go here for gluten free cupcakes and healthy, tasty food options. They have a little something for everyone, they are so kind, and the vibes are immaculate. The waffle fries, cup cakes, Cajun home style breakfast potatoes, tacos, and vegan burgers are some of our go tos

Fresh Thyme Market in St. Louis, Missouri, has carved out a niche in the local grocery scene by combining the charm of a farmers market with the convenience of a modern supermarket. Located in several neighborhoods across the city—including popular locations like the Brentwood area and South County—Fresh Thyme stands out for its commitment to fresh produce, natural products, and community values. The store's design feels open and welcoming, with rustic wood elements and signage that give it a down-to-earth, Midwestern feel. As soon as customers enter, they're greeted by colorful displays of fresh fruits and vegetables—many of which are organic or locally sourced. This emphasis on freshness is not just for show; it’s the core of the Fresh Thyme philosophy. In a city like St. Louis, where diverse neighborhoods crave both health-conscious options and affordability, Fresh Thyme strikes a careful balance. One of the most popular features of the market is its bulk section. Shoppers can scoop grains, nuts, spices, and snacks in the exact amounts they need—reducing packaging waste and saving money. The store also features a wide selection of gluten-free, vegan, and allergen-friendly products, making it a valuable resource for families with dietary needs. Local meats and sustainable seafood fill the coolers, and the store’s deli offers freshly prepared meals, smoothies, and sandwiches ideal for busy city life. Fresh Thyme’s role in the St. Louis community goes beyond just groceries. Many locations host seasonal events, cooking demonstrations, and partner with local farms and artisans. Their emphasis on local connections fits the character of St. Louis—a city that values its neighborhoods, small businesses, and cultural diversity. However, some shoppers note that prices can be higher than at larger chain stores like Schnucks or Walmart, particularly for specialty items. Still, many feel the quality and freshness justify the cost, especially when it comes to produce and natural health products. In conclusion, Fresh Thyme Market offers St. Louis residents more than a place to shop—it offers a lifestyle centered on wellness, sustainability, and community connection. In a city where food is deeply tied to culture and identity, Fresh Thyme provides a fresh and modern alternative that continues to grow .

What a gem! The Cup is an amazing little shop that delivers big on flavor. Their cupcakes are absolutely delicious--there's truly something for every palate. As someone who appreciates gluten-free options, I was thrilled to find treats that didn't compromise on taste at all. The staff was quick, courteous, and genuinely kind, making the whole experience even sweeter. Can't wait to come back and try more. Highly recommend for anyone with a sweet tooth (gluten-free or not)!

Russell's is one of the perfect spots if you wish to celebrate a romantic occasion. They have the right kind of music, dim lights, and quick service. We were here for pickup else I'd definitely have had stayed back to enjoy one or two of their delicious sounding entrees. We picked the original cheesecake with raspberry topping. It was dense, flavorful, but felt kinda heavy on the stomach. I expected the cream cheese to simply melt in my mouth. Nonetheless, the cake slice was moist, fresh, and big enough for two people to split. We also got their chocolate torte and it was delish. It's gluten free given that there is no flour used so the flavors really shine. Deep in richness, slightly fruity in flavor, (blueberries and blackberry toppings too) a mouth-coating bitterness that's not overtly bitter and very pleasant in taste makes the cake decadent to say the least. Last one was the gooey butter cake for the family and needless to say it was a hit. It was gourmet in every sense. Chewy and dense and so very smooth. It's crazy that it is a St Louis special and very few bakeries have achieved the taste that makes you go mmm. The base wasn't too crusty and made the cake extremely buttery which is what we'd expect from a MasterChef. Simply superb! Will definitely be visiting to try out more of their main course dishes and other desserts.

I had the stracciatella roasted mushrooms and salsa verde sandwich, and it was the best sandwich that I've ever eaten...seriously. I'm not a vegetarian, and I'm gluten sensitive, but I'm still dreaming about that sandwich and can't wait to travel back to St. Louis to have another. I also had a small gelato for desert - delicious!!! 😉 I dined on the back patio which was the perfect getaway for lunch. This will definitely be one of my St. Louis staple restaurants moving forward. I loved this place!

How simple is it to wrap gluten-free cookies into its own little baggy? I know you guys have them, because you usually do that. Not this time though? And to hang up on us when we try calling about it? They're gluten-free for a reason, packing them into the same box as cookies containing gluten defeats the whole purpose. Stupid ass kids working here bruh.
