The food was quite good with a fairly simple menu. Excellent gluten-free menu. The gf pancakes were generously sized and fluffy. The burrito was more like a panini-wrap, but tasted okay. The whole wheat pancakes were good. The kids meals were -very- small. Many coffee options with okay coffee. Huge assortment of baked goods. Two downsides: the meal was very expensive for what it was (like $100 for two adults and two kids) and the entire place has an almost aggressively Christian vibe (Bible verses everywhere, faith-based coloring pages, and C-rock playing loudly), so sit outside if that’s not your thing.

This place is AMAZING! We drove 50 minutes to get there and it was worth every minute! Judy was wonderful in telling us everything available. We left with pastries and a chicken pot pie and a spinach pie which were outstanding!! Would never know any of this was gluten free! Highly recommend !!

We have tried everything they have to offer; gluten free, vegan, etc., and we have always been impressed. The doughnuts are always fresh and the staff is always friendly. Just what we needed. I was so excited to find gluten-free options here. Cute little cafe, great coffee and snacks. I got the Caprese sandwich which was delicious. Highly recommend. The kids got tons of smoothies. Really made us feel healthy for our road trip back. Make sure to stop here. Service was great owners were really cool.

Too bad I’m limited to 5 stars. This place was tucked in behind the VA medical center in North Conway. They are primarily commercial bakery, that obliged us passing through with their delicious donuts and baked goods. Can’t say enough about the maple brioche. Believe me, you won’t miss the gluten and won’t notice that it’s vegan. Delicious for everybody!

Ally did my cake for my wedding, and she was absolutely amazing to work with! I recently had to go gluten-free, and I was so stressed about finding a good dessert option. Finding Specially Made took all those worries away! Ally was amazing to work with from the start. We were able to set up a cake tasting, and she has lots of yummy flavor combinations to choose from. Her pricing is affordable, and she was very flexible when it came to arranging for the cake to be delivered. The cake was a hit with everybody, and most people could not even tell it was gluten-free! If you are looking for a gluten-free option or just a yummy cake in general, you should definitely book with Ally!

The waitresses are very nice and the food is consistently excellent. My family and I are regulars. Great breakfast/ brunch foods, haven’t had any of the lunch options. They have options for people with gluten problems and other dietary needs. My favorite place to get brunch

First time going there. The only place I found that did gluten-free cheesecake. which I had gotten for my dad's 80th birthday. He has been looking for one for a while. I will try it this coming Thursday. I purchased a chocolate chip 🍪 for my grandson, a cheesecake for me and a brownie for my mom. It was all sooo good. I highly recommend this place.

I’ve been debating if I wanted to say anything for quite a while, but frankly, they’re not the same quality Black Forest they used to be. We used to go there several times a week. They used to have a lot of good gluten-free options and their gluten-free cheesecakes used to be amazing. We noticed the quality had slipped and even stuck around for a while to see if it would improve, it only got worse. We used to acquire cakes and such for family events, so we were loyal reoccurring customers, but now those days are gone.

Their products are fabulous. However, I've ordered their Millet & Rice sandwich bread for a few years and I'm extremely disappointed about the malted barley addition. I recently ordered 3 loaves, ate some assuming it was the same recipe, and came on to write a review of how good it was and how it had improved since the last time I ordered. It was hard to believe it could have improved as it was a perfect non-gluten bread before. Then I saw the other reviews re: the malted barley. The barley has improved it, but at the detriment to those of us who can no longer eat it. For those who want to avoid gluten, but don't need to, it's wonderful. For those of us who need to avoid gluten, it's a sad day. FYI the ingredient list is not visible on the website and is covered by the item next to it.

First, let me say, how delighted and surprised at the growth in Portsmouth, NH. Second, for me, La Maison Navarre is an especially wonderful addition because I miss those precious moments on business trips enjoying scrumptious pastries and coffee in Paris. La Maison Navarre was a genuine delight in every aspect, more so because my granddaughter was over the moon with the gluten free Paris Brest. She resides in Boston and flies for American Airlines.
