Santa Iguanas had such a fun, chill vibe with a bright and lively atmosphere. The live music really brought the energy and made the experience feel extra special. We loved the margaritas and sangrias! They were perfectly made and super refreshing. The food was absolutely delicious, and the bruschetta was a standout. They even brought out one gluten-free and one regular version so we could both enjoy it, which was such a thoughtful touch. Tons of gluten-free options overall, which was a big plus. Definitely a memorable spot—we’ll be back!
Gorgeous restaurant and amazing food! Ate here on my birthday while visiting Playa del Carmen and was so magical and delicious! I have celiac (gluten allergy) and the team was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable on allergies - Highly recommend the tuna steak - it was so delicious! And the restaurant is actually built around a cenote - super cool experience and some of the best food I ate in Mexico!

I recently dined at Layla and had an incredible experience! The food was absolutely fantastic, with options to suit every dietary need, including being Celiac friendly. The staff was wonderful, creating a welcoming atmosphere with their great service and friendly demeanor. The vibe of the restaurant was awesome, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Highly recommend!
I came here for the Gluten Free pancakes and they didn’t disappoint. They are very buttery and sweet. Best ones I’ve tasted in Tulum. Andres was my waiter and he was very attentive and welcoming. Really great place to work remote and spend the day.

If you’re a real pizza lover, I’d suggest giving this place a miss. We ordered two Diavola pizzas, one on a gluten-free base with vegan cheese and one regular.
The gluten-free base came at an additional 100 pesos, which is quite steep, but I was curious to try it. Unfortunately, what arrived was more like a 1mm-thin tostada with a small amount of melted vegan cheese, no tomato sauce, and just four slices of what seemed like very basic salami. It really didn’t resemble a pizza in any way and was sent back straight away. Thankfully, we weren’t charged for it, which I appreciated.
As for the regular pizza, it wasn’t much better. It looked like something from a very low-end all-inclusive buffet. The tomato sauce was unusually dark and definitely didn’t taste like San Marzano as advertised. The base was flat, undercooked, and lacked any real flavour or texture.
On the plus side, the service was excellent. The waiter was kind, attentive, and very apologetic. I really felt for him, as he did his best in a tough situation.
As an Italian who has lived abroad for over 20 years, I’ve had pizza in all kinds of settings and don’t consider myself particularly picky. But sadly, this just didn’t come close to what I’d consider pizza, especially at these prices. Piola used to be great years ago, but something seems to have changed. I won’t be returning.
BEST TACOS EVER!!! I had the la gringo taco which was AMAZING!! I also had the cheese crust pastor good but not as amazing as the above. My husband had the ribeye tacos and he said these were the best he's ever had. My kids and in laws enjoyed theirs too. The reason I took 1 star away is because after my MIL said she could not eat gluten they gave her a flour shell. Because of this she was not feeling well last night. Other then that everything was great. For desert we had the churros which were good but not as delicious as the corn cake!!! That desert is probably one of the best I've ever had and I own a bakery!!

I celebrated my birthday at this stunning hidden gem in Los Cabos, and the entire experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the design and ambiance were breathtaking — modern, artistic, and tucked away like a secret waiting to be discovered.
The menu was exceptional, and as someone who is both gluten-free and vegetarian, I was blown away by how thoughtful and accommodating the chef was. They created a special custom dish just for me that was both delicious and beautifully presented. The creativity extended to the drinks as well — every cocktail was a work of art.
And the highlight? A vegan cheesecake that was out of this world.
If you’re looking for a place that goes above and beyond in every way — food, service, atmosphere. A perfect night and the best birthday dinner I could’ve asked for. 10/10!

It's good but not so small for so much money. This little ceviche cost me $290. I went here and ordered takeout because of celiac but how sad that we with celiac have to eat in expensive places. ALSO, they told me it comes with toast but they only gave me tortilla chips... something stressful for celiacs because I asked about their toast, not their tortilla chips. HOWEVER, I appreciate everyone who helped me with celiac, they took all my questions with great patience. 5/5 star service, it's just that there was little food. Many thanks to the host and the kitchen <3
We love this place! The food is always amazing, the executive chef visits with the patrons, and the staff always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is on point. They handle gluten-free and dairy free with extra special care. Definitely check La Dolce Vita out!
Great food, friendly staff, with several English speaking servers, highly recommend the cheese pastor tacos. Had good luck with gluten free options for my celiac GF. Highly recommend!
This restaurant is wonderful all around. Fabulous food, view, staff.
The servers were very knowledgeable about gluten free restrictions and there were tons of amazing gf options! Highly recommend if there is someone with a gluten free diet in your party.
YES, absolutely love this place! If I could have afforded to eat here every day I would have. I gave four stars for service since one server didn't understand me when I asked for gluten free options and I had to wait for him to track someone down who did know more. It's absolutely charming, right on the beach, and a peaceful getaway from the casa Dorada next door. It's just across the Alley street from casa Dorada, and feels like an entirely different world. It was our mini peaceful escape from the chaotic beach medano beach has become, and they've done an incredible job with the environment/vibes and also the food is healthy and tastes amazing 🤩
My husband and I are big Margaritaville fans. Not only is this Margaritaville right in the port, but they're actually affordable. They sell slices of watermelon alcohol infused Jell-O in real watermelon rinds for just $3 USD a slice. It's an incredible deal.
There are tons of photo opportunities here and the restaurant is clean. Margaritaville also tends to be one of the few places with a marked menu for gluten-free options.

Great service and the mole was the best I’ve ever had in the yucatan. Try the crickets they are not as bad as you might think and make for fun pictures. This is definitely on the expensive side but the atmosphere was well worth it. Check out the small cenote nearby across the street! They were very good with gluten and dairy allergies.
Great food and Pardo was the very best! He’s the nicest and most attentive server which we genuinely appreciated. Great sense of humor and paid special attention to our gluten intolerance! We’d come back and ask for Pardo! Every dish was delicious, calamari, black angus burger, baby gem lettuce Caesar, etc! Great spot with great service.
Great pasta with gluten free options - zucchini or rice noodles.Fun vibe near the central plaza - we sat on the front patio and enjoyed the street entertainment without being right in the middle of it.
Fantastic pizza available in a gluten free crust that is actually fantastic. Great service reasonable prices. There was a mix up with my wife's pizza she couldn't eat and they quickly remade it no fuss no muss.
Highly recommended and will be back.
I had an excellent experience! I'm celiac and I had 3 meals here, all with great service. At dinner there are usually musicians, there is no cover charge, but it's worth the tip because they are very good!!
5 stars!! We had a group of eight including one with gluten allergy, one with a dairy allergy and even a child. We all found something to order and we all loved our meals! The salsas are the best part! Don’t skip this place when in Cancun
We had dinner here a few days ago and we really liked the customer service, the filet mignon, the octopus and the tiramisu. They also have several gluten-free options. We will eat here again if we are in Cancun again 😃
Great food and friendly service. Really fun place for a birthday dinner, they brought out instruments and sombreros and a big sparkler with a flan for dessert. I’m gluten intolerant and they were helpful in accommodating my dietary restrictions. The enchiladas verdes were delicious, though portions were a bit small for that dish. My girlfriend got the coconut shrimp and enjoyed it too.

Swung by for drinks as we were staying at another property. The gluten free options on the menu were limited so we also had dinner elsewhere that evening. The rooftop is expansive and service was on point. Come for the drinks and stay for the views.
Excellent - such a beautiful garden and you can see all the beautiful fruit growing. Service was outstanding. Not too many gluten free options but still a handful to choose from! Would be great if they had gluten free bread to choose from. Was absolutely stunning and perfect for children, the food we had was amazing. Goat burrito and mocha French toast and granola bowl. 10/10!

Gluten free options on the menu. I ate the Mushroom Risotto, and it was delicious. Vegetables topped the risotto, and they tasted great. Beware the pineapple sorbet, it has basil in it, and was not to my taste m
Just go. Super great staff, incredible tacos. Gluten free and vegan options but also lots of choice for meat lovers, amazing cocktails, cozy spot. Loved it here! Had the hibiscus tacos and anchito papachito cocktail. 10/10 recommend.
The best food we had in Mexico City! I’m still dreaming of the corn tamales. The dishes are very simple and small. So we were able to order a variety of dishes. The service was great and were knowledgeable and accommodating towards my gluten allergy. Everything on the menu was gluten free. Can’t wait to come back.
Hello to all my Celiac and Gluten free friends, we stopped at Riviera grill yesterday and I told the server about my allergy. Try to specify you can't have breaded items or anything that has flour. I had the grilled shrimp with the creamy rice. I honestly didn't finish the rice because of the dairy in it which I didn't think of when I was ordering . Daniel was our server and he was super nice and the atmosphere was amazing :)

We are a family of 4, 2 eat gluten free. It was easy to get GF meals. We ate here 2 times during our trip and was very happy with the meals, service and price. Only one building off 5th ave, you would expect to pay higher prices but it was only 1/3 the price of our meal at Guy Fieri place right next door and the atmosphere was great. They have an open grill where they cook all the meats, the smells are wonderful and my wife thought the margarita was very good. Also the beans were extremely good. I would eat just a plate of them for a meal. We recommend this place.
Jose Pausto and all the staff here are amazing. They were quick and knowledgeable to point out and accommodate gluten free meals (lots of their menu is naturally) and made us feel so welcome. The sunset bar is great to visit at happy hour for 2 for 1 drinks (300 pesos). We came here many times during our 8 nights in Tulum.
Excellent service. Gluten free options. Staff was happy to let us customize our orders and everything was very delicious. 10/10 would and will return. Highly recommend.
You can't miss the pastas and pizza. They told us that they make the pasta and dough daily from scratch and the truth is it does taste different, they also have a GLUTEN FREE option.
Excellent option for dinner in San José and very good service from the staff, especially the manager, Braulio.
We had a great dinner. My mum is gluten free and our waiter Enrique was very helpful and could adapt her order. All the food was delicious, especially the tuna!
The atmosphere at Zenzi Beach is unmatched, with stunning views of the ocean and a relaxed atmosphere that invites you to enjoy every moment. The beachside location adds a special touch to the experience, allowing you to enjoy the sea breeze and the sound of the waves while you dine.
Mauricio was exceptional at all times, always attentive and willing to make sure everything was perfect. His knowledge of the menu and recommendations were impeccable. Thanks to your suggestions, I enjoyed an exquisite meal that exceeded all my expectations. The dishes, from starters to dessert, were perfectly prepared and presented, reflecting the quality and care put into every detail.
Live music starting at 5pm added a magical touch to the experience, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. The combination of great music, great food and first class service made my visit truly special.
In addition, the variety on the menu and the possibility of enjoying vegetarian and gluten-free options demonstrates the restaurant's commitment to the satisfaction of all its customers. Mauricio was always attentive to my needs, making sure my experience was personalized and pleasant.
In short, Zenzi Beach Bar & Restaurant is a place that I highly recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional culinary experience in Playa del Carmen. Mauricio's attention was one of the highlights of my visit, and I am sure I will return soon to enjoy another wonderful experience. Thank you, Mauricio, for making my visit to Zenzi Beach unforgettable. Except the friend friend! of the entrance he had to have stayed at home. Behind a blind man there is always a cane. Thank you Mauricio 🙏🏾😍😃

It is a great place, the food is very delicious and the atmosphere is good.
I would recommend adding something to the menu that is not necessarily with bread (and that is not salad) in order to give variety for people who have a gluten allergy (as is my case).
