Very cool environment, great service, delicious food & beer. Love that there are gluten free options and items are marked on menu. Definitely recommend going! 👌

BEWARE. The Gluten Free (GF) Labels on the menu mean GF options available for that dish, NOT that the dish is gluten free. Talk to your server about your order.
I was excited when seeing the GF labels all over the menu, especially when seeing that most of those dishes involved pita bread. Sadly after talking to the bartender I learned that their pita is (obviously) not GF. Their rice pilaf also has soy sauce in it, so do not just assume the dish is GF even though they are labeled GF. Service was great and the food was good. Pricey, but normal for the gaslamp area and it was very tasty.
The service was lovely and as someone with coeliac disease, I felt very safe eating here (the server let me know that the original owner’s wife is celiac, and so that made me feel like they would have a good understanding of cross-contamination). The eggs and hashbrowns were just OK and the chicken sausage and the pancake that I had were pretty good.
This is a really solid happy hour spot in the neighborhood! If you’re looking to stay gluten-free or are hanging with somebody who is GF, I’d recommend Bivouac.
The space is really cool; feels like a camping lodge! Lots of warm wood, climbing ropes, etc.
The meatballs and polenta bites were flavorful, delicious, reasonably priced and portioned, & had strong sauce/dip-pairings.
Service was okay. Not super attentive, and the flight took over 10 minutes to come out, which was weird, since the place wasn’t that busy. They ignored us a bit once some influencers showed up, meh.
Watch out for the pricing on the cider flights! (Meaning, there IS no listed price… think it was like $18 each? For 3 tasters.)
The hummus/crudites appetizer is underwhelming, as the veggies could be cut less coarsely, and the hummus was disarmingly minty (and not enough for all the dipping objects).
Very good, fresh seafood with a beautiful view of the Bay, and a short walk from the USS Midway. They can make several dishes and sides gluten-free. Be sure to communicate that with your server. Our server was well-trained on this food allergen. Recommended to make reservations, especially if you want a table outside or a table inside with the bay view.
Kitchen is truly excellent, staff is great, very pleasant outdoor patio seating, lots of cocktail options, many veg and gluten free options, spacious and gorgeous building, and a happy hour!
Sincerely impressed, will absolutely be back. Probably within a week or two.
TLDR: celiac friendly
My celiac friend and I stopped by to try out their gluten free flatbread and she took half of hers to go which is highly uncommon. Most gf breads are like cardboard or rubbery but this flatbread tasted just like gluten bread! She didn't get sick so there was definitely no gluten in it but whatever it was, it was amazing!
I ordered gluten full tortellini which looked and tasted like it was made in house and I was completely satisfied with my meal. We stopped by just as happy hour was ending and our waiter was quick to help us get some happy hour wine orders in before it was too late.
The bathroom... it an experience. Like many cities, some locations work within their confines and RoVino got very clever. The restroom is a short walk outside the restaurant which at first seems so strange because they have someone walk you down to it. At the end of the block, tucked away you'll find a very clean little walk to a door with their logo. Type in the code and you enter a 1 stall restroom. It was so random but well done, I'll be talking about that little experience for a while.
Got to go here for a gift and loved all the gluten free options. They even made us gluten free toast.
The meat was so tender and I loved the 3 different 3 ounce steaks with the different toppings. Especially the crab. If we were to splurge again, we would definitely go back. And of course the view is gorgeous.
The food was incredible, the menu has a little bit of everything, so there’s definitely something for everyone. Great gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options as well! The salmon and bone-in rib eye were by far our favorites. I would definitely recommend Greystone to anyone looking for incredible food and drinks, a great atmosphere, and stellar service.
About the food - Their smoked brisket chili is roll-your-eyes-back-in-your-head good, and the ribs fell off the bone so beautifully. Moved onto the desserts too, couldn’t believe how great the peach cobbler tasted, talk about nostalgia bonanza! Not to forget, gluten trouble people, they’ve got your back! Chief, you get all this smack-bang for your buck, without hurting the wallet.
Had a wonderful dinner here this evening. I am gluten free and ordered the gnocchi and my husband had the lamb tagliatelle pasta. Great portion sizes. We ordered a bottle of the Super Tuscan which is luscious! We took what was left with us. We shared the misto salad which they graciously split for us. Our service and food were wonderful. We have been to Italy and this is top notch.
Folks Italy is Italy-it’s the terroir of there and cannot be matched but this came pretty darn close! Would defiantly eat here again.
Pleasantly surprised when we picked this place last minute. Food was DELICIOUS (gluten free brisket sandwhich and a burger) and to top it off we didnt know there was a small little outdoor play area for the kiddos!!! Saving this location for the couple times a year we are in the area!!

They have some delicious gluten reduced beers. They limit tasters to 2 at a time. Wish they offered a full test flight. They also don’t fill growlers. Prices are decent though so it’s worth buying in cans. Really cool space that’s great for families or just a couple buddies.
So delicious, great service, great food! A ton of gluten free options as well. Came here during a trip with my family and we were all very impressed with our meals.
Excellent food! Great service! We also loved that they accommodated food allergies - child with egg and tree nut allergies and adult with avocado and pork allergies. We don’t have a gluten allergy but they have a gluten free dedicated fryer (and the fryer was egg and TN free) and gluten free options.
North Italia in One Paseo is my new favorite Italian food restaurant! Every single team member we encountered was extremely friendly, professional, and helpful.
The kitchen & bar outdid themselves everybody enjoyed their dishes and drinks from the Brussels sprouts to the fried zuchinni chips, bread, pastas, pizzas, and salads. I’m gluten free and was so happy to see such an accommodating menu. I ordered the pesto chicken pasta and loved every bite!
We had a big party of twelve and a late reservation, because our previous dinner reservations fell through. Honestly, I’m so happy they did. Despite our not-so-simple request for a Saturday night reservation at a busy location, they happily welcomed us in and took such good care of us!
Thank you Nicole, Garrett, and all staff!
Saw a review that it was the best gluten free pizza someone had ever had. Well… it was! 😍😍😍 oh my gosh every the leftovers are making my gluten free stomach happy. Prices are also so good for how large the pizzas are, through expect a $5 up charge for gluten free.

My family and I went here for dinner and thought it was pretty good! The rest of my family got the normal BYO pasta and sauce, I got the gluten free spaghetti arrabiatta. I felt really jipped on my pasta and it was all broken apart. I’ve made gluten free spaghetti before so I think it was overcooked, and there was WAY too much sauce. Otherwise, everyone else enjoyed their food. I was a little confused too as to why the pesto had fresh ricotta mixed in, as that isn’t traditional of pesto sauce. Overall, nice ambiance and a good-sized restaurant, and the food tasted good, but I think the gluten free game for how they serve it to customers needs to be improved a bit.
Amazing restaurant! The waitress told us that the owner has celiac, so many items are gluten free or can be made gluten free! I had the fish and chips, which they said are completely GF, and there’s no shared fryer with gluten containing items! The only modification I needed to make was asking to not have the malt vinegar on my plate.
Fun date-night spot or dinner out with the friends. I loved that they had gluten free and dairy free options for me, that didn’t comprised the food. Had a great burger on a really good GF bun, with some of the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had.
Drinks were just okay.
Atmosphere was a bit mixed. It’s a really cute place and it’s fun to look at all the flowers and other decorations. The downsides are the TVs they have going and the odd music choices. I don’t think they should have sports playing at a place like that. It seems like they have a bit of a mixed identify and aren’t picking a lane -
Are they are fun, slightly upscale and social restaurant or a sports bar with a floral touch? They just don’t work together.
Went here with friends because it had GF marked menu items. We were there for breakfast so I can’t speak to the lunch menu, but there were really no breakfast options for someone with a gluten allergy (celiac).
I ordered the steak and eggs that were marked GF, and the Waitress advised me that the potatoes were made in a shared fryer. So we subbed potatoes for fruit. When the food came I took a bite of the steak and noticed it had a marinade. I asked what the marinade was (because with celiac you cannot have regular soy sauce, only tamari) and she didn’t know. She went was to check with the kitchen but they weren’t entirely sure because the head chef was out. I asked if it had soy sauce specifically and after like 20 mins she came back and we had to ask again about it. The marinade did have soy sauce in it, so the only part of this dish that is GF are the eggs and my substituted fruit.
The chilaquiles were another GF option but the chips are also fried in a shared fryer. I would be very cautious if celiac and eating here…
Between appointments helping people with their Medicare, I had lunch with a friend of 40+ years. For health reasons, I have to eat gluten-free. I ordered their bacon cheeseburger with fries. The burger was great, but like most GF breads, it fell apart when I tried to pick it up. Knife and fork the rest of the way. The fries were great, and so was the iced tea. As for service, our server was either new or too shy to speak audibly.
For all my food allergy people stay away. The menu claims to have options for vegan and gluten-free, but doesn't have safeguards in place to accommodate people. A great example is when I ordered the one thing on the menu I was told was safe for me and I was served gluten, my allergy. The waitress wasn't the issue, it was the kitchen. I specifically picked this restaurant for its Sunday Jazz and because they had the menu marked up as gluten-free. Out of the 4 of us who were in my party I didn't get to eat anything because the chef claimed he couldn't serve me safely. My question is why mark your menu up with accommodation being available and not be educated enough to accommodate? The food that my companions ordered looked so so. The feeling I got from the restaurant is that it's popular, but a lack of effort from the back of the house is going to hurt the front of the house. It's a no for me. Never again

I have celiac and they claimed everything with a star was gluten free. i ordered the GF fried rice and got sick. called back and apparently you have to ask for it to be GF which our waitress did not mention..nor the menu. This place is horrible and is false advertisement. NEVER EVER GO HERE!!!
Nobu is actually very accommodating to a gluten free menu and many options are either already gluten free or can be made gluten free.
We've gone several times and it's always been amazing.
Get the black cod, its amazing.
Our group of 4 went here the other day (Sep 12 around 8:30 pm) just for drinks and had a great time! Widest selection of beers (with the largest gluten free menu we'd seen to date!).
Our waiter was a gem and answered all the questions we had. Every one of his drink suggestions were a hit with us! We really loved the pumpkinhead ale*- it's a definite must try this fall season.
We stayed pretty much until close to closing! Great atmosphere, and well priced drinks. We will be back!
A pleasant experience
Great gluten-free pizza. Pricey and flat, but tasty!
Potato skins were good, sandwiches were good, attentive but not annoying server.
Wonderful outdoor setting with great bay views. The food was excellent and the presentation of the drinks was superior. Gluten free and vegan options available.
Birthday dinner and I was so happy and impressed. Delicious food, great, friendly service and most importantly I have to eat gluten free and I had options. Hands down recommend this place. They even brought me over a birthday shot, thank you!
Lunch and dinner menu options are limited too may raw foods and Flatbread not many cooked foods options like fish or chicken. Sandwiches are made with fried fish or chicken instead of grilled, no vegetable options. Breakfast is good and so are burgers are good with a gluten free bread options.
I have been going here for years. The service and people are so great the food is good and they always have fun drinks. They also have a few gluten free option which is really nice for someone with a gluten intolerance. Also, it's a great place for kids. My favorite dish we got this last time was the carne asada tacos. Their carne asada was surprisingly flavorful.
Had a great lunch here while visiting La Jolla. Our waiter, Luke, was very knowledgeable about the menu and reassured us that our allergies would be handled appropriately. Gluten free options were somewhat limited but we were all satisfied. Would come again!
Authentic, delicious Greek food. Gustavo was a fun and attentive server. Mary (the owner) spent time at each of the tables and shared some fun jokes and stories with us.
As wonderful as the people and atmosphere were, the food was absolutely the highlight. Everything we ordered - tzatziki, hummus, melizanasalata, dolmathes, souvlaki, gyros, lentil soup and baklava - was fresh and perfectly seasoned. Also a good selection of gluten free options. Just go. And enjoy.
Food was good and service was great. I had the breakfast burrito it was pretty good, no complaints and it was very filling. My wife had the grilled fish tacos (they're gluten free) abs she really enjoyed them and they were very big.
